Let's start with Monica. She was my first point of contact when calling FPD for home inspection…read moreestimates. She was by far the most knowledgeable person I have spoken with in a long time. She took her time and explained everything. She went above and beyond even before I decided to go with her company. She was very honest and upfront. Securing an appointment was seamless. Monica worked diligently to inform me of a cancellation that secured me an appointment Monday morning. Mind you I called end of business day the Friday before. On the day of inspection, Darin and Jonas worked together to provide efficient service to ensure a thorough and speedy inspection. They covered a full home inspection, 4-point, wind mitigation and WDO with one service call. After completion they met with us and provided a beautifully laid out booklet that explained things like general lifespan of appliances and different building blocks of the house. They were open to questions and were very patient with us. Shortly after I received all reports via email along with a comparative analysis of the neighborhood with timelines in which general repairs were made, given most homes in this development were built the same year. They also offer an array of home warranties that are free with full home inspection services. Because of excellent customer service and additional services offered at no additional cost, FPD was not the least expensive estimate I received but definitely worth it. Highly recommend.

Sean Wilson of Old City Inspections has these qualities of a great inspector. He is all business with a tireless work ethic and a caring sense of humor. I highly recommend Sean as he will give you all the details in a straightforward manner and a road map for a safe completion of your project for you and your family. An excellent Real Estate professional inspector must have in depth experience of all trades, knowing all the construction codes so that he may communicate safety concerns, improper or incomplete projects to the client. This is for present business and in building a relationships for future business through referrals. Attention to detail is critical for client safety and reduction of future liability. The detail of the inspection will facilitate a more efficient path of awareness for addressing safety concerns for all interested parties involved. Integrity is putting the client needs first over all obstacles of completing a detailed inspection. The client must be aware of steps of the inspection prior to arrival so that they may understand the process. The Client must be aware of all safety concerns and code violations so that a proper action plan can be written. Superior communication starts with the phone being picked up when the client makes the initial inquiry. As this sets the tone for the whole experience. A honest appraisal of the project with the opportunity for a Q & A is vital as this build credibility in the report and for future word of mouth marketing. Matt & Laurie Gilligan
