They offered a "complimentary dryer cleaning and when the tech called in sick for that appointment I put up an honest review. Received an email from the owner stating he would refund the cost of the dryer vent cleaning and consider the matter closed and that I should consider another company for this service. Obviously, a company that markets to immunocompromised clients but also uses as an excuse three times for last minute cancelation. It's clear that this is not a company that cares about its customer service, just the bottom line. Someone clearly needs a lesson that repeat customers and good customer service and feedback is essential to keep a business going. I don't recommend this company at all. There are hundreds of others in the city that do this service and this owner is offering nothing special, not even basic customer service.

It was rush hour and very busy and a long drive to get a key but we were very pleased that they were going to be able to cut it. When we got there they informed us that can't do the key we needed. We said that we had driven from Airdrie and all we got was a shrug shoulder, as if to say, so what? No apology - no nothing. Now that's what we call "Really Lousy Service". Everyone makes mistakes, but sometimes, an apology goes a long way. Maybe a lesson that Aboe staff should learn. if we could give them a minus star, we would. PS: They should read their reviews. They were awesome! They explained things clearly and patiently (I knew nothing about fireplaces) and answered all my questions (even the silly ones). They made sensible recommendations; I ended up with a lovely 36-inch linear unit. They had really creative ideas for the installation (in my case, how to get a slightly larger fireplace in the old space). They offered an extremely fair price. They showed up when they said they would. They responded quickly and always followed up. The installation was quick and easy. They took care of all the logistics. They left the place clean. They always wore masks. And they had great recommendations for tile distributors and installers. Plus I like that they are a Calgary-based small business. I can't recommend them highly enough. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.
