Our LG washing machine had been stalling out with an error code indicating an issue that was likely a failing vibration sensor, this would leave our clothes partially washed and sopping wet. John from Top Notch came to our house, observed the washer failing to complete a cycle multiple times with the same error code and listened to our concerns. After leaving to research the problem he left a voice mail later that day saying that he had consulted a colleague and suggested that we were just loading it incorrectly, he then described in detail how to properly load a washing machine. For context, we had been using this washer for three years without issue before it suddenly started failing mid-cycle, we are also both in our mid/late thirties so we have some experience doing our own laundry. We decided to go back to Sterling Appliance who believed us when we said there was a problem and they replaced the board with the sensor. Unsurprisingly actually performing the repair was more effective than gaslighting us about it and the washer is back to normal

It was not discussed with me when they were leaving. I never saw the invoice until they were gone. Because they added that note, my warranty company refused my claim. When the techs were leaving, they were already giving me a quote to have a part replaced. I thought that was a little strange. I called the office and the person was very defensive. I will never use them again. I now have to pay for something that should have been covered under my home warranty.

We called Liberty, and a technician was at the house within an hour. He was friendly and professional and went above and beyond the call of duty. A floor installation mishap in the past had caused the dishwasher to be locked in place. The tech somehow managed to get the washer out without pulling up the floor or causing any damage to it, which has seemed like an impossible task. He then used spare flooring to create a base for the washer so it wouldn't be a problem in the future. Most importantly, he found the faulty component in the dishwasher, showed me what was wrong, and quickly replaced it and got the dishwasher back in place. Good work at a fair price.

Literally the tech pointed out something that could have cost hundreds if serviced...but that we could fix for about $5 ourselves. (thank you!) When the technician showed up, I was on a conference call and also watching my 5 day old newborn, but he was not bothered by my lack of focus on his appointment. I just pointed him to where the units were and he was able to check everything. He was absolutely courteous when he had to get my attention to ask a question, completely aware of the sleeping baby and me being on a call. One note: they sent an email with the picture of the person who would be showing up for the service appointment. This is an EXCELLENT practice, at least in theory. In our case, the gentleman in the emailed photo was not the same person who showed up for the service. I highly suggest to the company that they alert the customer of such changes.
