I understand appointments go first, but the pace was unbelievably slow -- in almost two hours only a handful of people were taken back. It honestly makes you wonder how understaffed this location must be. There were people who had been waiting even longer than me and were still there when I finally left. I even tried booking an appointment a week in advance and couldn't get a morning slot, so walking in was my only option. Now I've lost an entire month trying to get essential lab work done. To make matters worse, the waiting room was uncomfortable in every way -- overcrowded, stuffy, poor ventilation, and frankly tough to sit through for hours. Expecting people to wait 3-4 hours in those conditions is unreasonable. LabCorp needs more staff, better scheduling, and a serious upgrade in patient flow (and maybe some airflow too). This experience was exhausting and unacceptable. Patients deserve better.

At about 11:20 I went inside and my name was called. I went into the 3 desk check-in area and a nice pregnant nurse Diana started to check me in. She was stopped by the office manager woman who said it was another David who had been called. I looked at the property owner map on the wall c. 1890 to find my family home in Cheltenham as I had done in the past and the manager told me to leave. I refused as I was not blocking any new sign-ins and she threatened to call the Abington Police- who came and I explained the situation to them and her unfriendly racist behavior towards me. They videotaped my conversations with them and made no charges against me. I was told that many Labcorp workers have quit and they are understaffed. All seven blood taking rooms were filled with only Diana taking blood, no one at the 3 check-in desks when I was called by phone text at 12:22 pm. I left at 12:40. Suggest the office manager take training in customer service and hire more Phlebotomists. Appointments should be by scheduling, no walk ins. Diana should be commended on her professionalism and caring.

They asked me 7 times if I was fasting. Asked if I was sure. Answered yes. When they couldn't dismiss me for that, found a test on my list that can "not be done in the afternoon," must be done upon waking up. Told them I work nights and this is my "morning." Still refused. Told them to call my doctor - they "don't talk to doctors." Told them my past 19 cortisol tests were all done in afternoons. They wanted me to return in morning after a 12 hour night shift. I reminded them, they just told me "it must be done upon waking up." They are not consistent, rude, ignorant, and tell me "no supervisors work afternoons." I will follow up with the PA Dept of Health and check on their CLIA certification with the Centers for Medicare Services.

Took at least another 20 for her to finally show up and she has a long list of names in her hand reading them aloud. about 3 patients later its my turn, i walk in and immediately hear her on speaker phone blasting hold music. this became very irritating very quickly. she then gets off hold and takes an 8 minute phone call with me in the room sitting in the seat where i should be getting my blood work. Do Not come here for blood work service! this happens almost everytime i come here there is always a situation with the waiting and taking "lunch breaks" at inconvenient times. will not be coming back.

My appointment was for 11:00am. Walked into the office at 10:50. I was taken back to check the paperwork at 10:55. I was taken to the patient room a few minutes later. The phlebotomist came in at 11:03. She was cheerful and was laughing about something as she came in. We had a delightful conversation while she set up and asked the usual questions. Minimal discomfort with the needle stick. I was out of there at 11:10. Very nice experience. My only criticism would be that the sign in kiosk did not work (big deal) and that the waiting room could use a paint job. I would go back without hesitation if my usual place was booked.
