. Not worth going to if you don't have chiropractic insurance. They charge you and arm and a leg. I went for three visits had the x-rays done . That alone was $500 out of pocket . I quit going and canceled all the remaining appointments due to it costing $2100 out of pocket for about 2 1/2 months of treatment . Not worth going there for adjustments. It was a headache to cancel the remaining appointments and settle up what I owed them . Stay away from ability chiropractor. I am a huge fan. I have had scoliosis for the past 25 years, have stuggled with fibromyalgia for the past 10, and have started to develop arthritis in my hips and spine. Honestly, it has been easy to feel hopeless - and has historically left me unable to participate in much of my social life. What I appreciate is that the team hears me and adjusts my treatment plan to accommodate my real-time needs. I learn something new about my body every session. And I feel focused on sustainable health rather than a bandaid solutions. I am now volunteering numerous times a week, training for a half marathon, and feeling energized at work and at home. I am able to be more engaged with my family and less focused on what I could trigger a back spasm or what could cause full-body soreness. This is an amazing practice. I was extremely skeptical before coming in and seeing chiropractic care. The doctors have been extremely careful AND explain things in depth that make sense to me. I had chronic migraines and neck pain. I also had sciatica and a slipped disc. I literally cannot stress this enough when I say that I am pain free. Sure my muscles and bones ache from time to time. But I feel like my body is communicating properly now (which they will tell you all about your bodies communication!! It's important!!!) and I can recover quickly. I can be more present with my family and job. I began the school year last year with a slipped disc, a strained neck, and then later a knee problem. IVE NEVER HAD KNEE PROBLEMS. This year, I have none of those. My students said "you're hurt a lot" last year and this year they'll probably say "you don't get hurt anymore" lol. So I highly recommend this place. Dr Ryan is an amazing guy with high values. You can tell he truly loves this job and has a passion for helping people live better lives. If you're a skeptic like I was, this is your sign. I simply cannot say enough AMAZING things about this chiropractic office! I've been to several other offices previously and they were just ok. I've been struggling with lower back issues and tension headaches to the point where I struggled to go to work and take care of my family. I was desperate for relief! From the moment you're greeted by Brooklyn, you feel welcome. The office has a really great vibe. Not like a typical DR office. Dr. Ryan is incredibly thorough when explaining X-ray findings and your care plan. For each adjustment, he always asks if there are any problem spots. He does a wonderful job explaining why chiropractic care is so important. You can tell that everyone at Ability truly loves their job. As an added bonus, they also have an amazing message therapist. I understand cost can be an issue as most insurance companies don't provide great coverage for chiropractic, but they set me up with a payment plan where I make a payment on each payday. Dr. Ryan really improved my quality of life! My posterior rib heads have been slipping out of place chronically which is quite painful. Dr. Ryan knew exactly what the issue was and after my adjustment I had immediate relief of my pain! Some chiropractors in the past have been unable to fully and reliably adjust my ribs to provide relief, but Dr. Ryan has it covered! In addition, he started me on exercises and thoracic extension stretching to improve my posture and decrease recurrence. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge which is so valuable. He also took time to understand my vertigo symptoms and adjusted my cervical spine which provided immediate cessation of my ongoing positional vertigo. It's pretty miraculous to have immediate improvement in something so troublesome and persistent! Each week I feel better than the last!
