My partner went in only for consultation and has dental procedure trauma. I was there for support, if needed. In the packet they include detailed pre/post op instructions, and opioid handouts. If someone is coming in only for a consultation is it truly necessary to receive those immediately upon checking in? It can great unnecessary anxiety and panic. On top of the team being 30 mins late, pop music blasting, and my partners worst fear in a packet on her lap. I had to say something. Front desk is kind, but when asked about the packet, and the wait.. they stared with glossed over eyes and cold tone. To be fair, not their fault... Please be mindful, not every patient is the same. Some have anxiety/trauma and your set-up is not conducive to that. Consider reviewing the check-in docs maybe? I'd just recommend providing those documents during the appointment itself! I've been to many clinics since I came to US. EVERY doctor I met explained patiently to me what each term means. So, get your English certified before you come here.

If you like a lot of hand-holding, NLS/Kirkland is not for you. On the other hand, if you would prefer an impersonal, conveyor belt approach, this office may be more your style. The procedure was rough, but less due to the staff than the procedure. It's simply a terrible thing to have a piece of your body you've had in place for a half-century sawed off and ripped out. Recovery was flawless. To say I had little pain would be inaccurate: I had zero pain in the first several days.

Not a tiny piece - the second provider I went to see later found it on x-ray. 2. I chose full anesthesia but did not recall being told to avoid eating in the morning. I showed up with a full belly and was told there could be a risk of vomiting in the process. The procedure went forward. 3. After the procedure, the bone graft kept falling out. My primary dentist suggested me to see Dr Banda again. He told me the graft failed and recommended redoing the grafting procedure right away. 4. At that point I decided to see another dentist for second opinion, who then found out the fraction left behind. She suggested letting my gum heal before another procedure with a chance to grow back enough bone, which it did and saved me a procedure.

We scheduled his appointment and he was brought back promptly and it about an hour the staff came out to greet me and meet him outside to take him home. I loved how they took the time to check in with me, observe him and wait til it was safe to discharge. The surgery wad successful 2 up top were smooth pulls no stitching and the bottom 2 were impacted and had light stitching. He was just fine with general anesthesia and it wore off slowly and he had zero reactions. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. The Playlist of music was uncut and the lyrics were amusing but I'm not sure anyone else noticed that. I appreciate the after care follow up and the phone call checking in. Poor customer service…read more Just called to make an appointment for an oral emergency after I sustained a tongue laceration. As I was already having difficulty speaking, I was telling the gal what was going on and halfway through she cuts me off to say she has another patient in front of her. I sit on hold, then am randomly transferred to someone else. The next gal I spoke to asked what was going on, told her, puts me on a hold. Comes back and asks for my information. I explain the laceration and she later asks if it's a bump. I tell her it's a laceration...she then puts me back on hold. When she returns she says they have to ask the doctor and they'll call me back. Just very poor customer service, unhelpful and disorganized. Don't recommend.

Only…read morebummer was my insurance didn't cover the panoramic X-ray so it was $180 for a photo of my teeth :/ this was because I had gotten different X-rays from my dentist the week before. Dr Lin was an extremely empathic and personable dentist who knows what he's doing. My teeth are a bit weird and I have a few baby teeth. So it's difficult to have a plan on what to do. Dr Lin gave me all the options he could, including one where I didn't get my teeth removed. (Which is a great sign he's not in it for the money). But in the end we decided it was best to remove 3 teeth. He prescribed antibiotics for the day before to prevent any preventable complications. Surgery day, they were amazing and made me feel very comfortable. Even gave me a blanket! And 3 different types of anestesia (bc I hate needles). I also requested to keep my teeth and they packaged it in a sterilized bag! I made sure to ice well the first day. And to be honest, I barely had any swelling on the 2nd and 3rd day. I also had very little to no pain. I was starting to eating solid crunchy foods by day 3. Dr Lin was a very gentle and skilled oral surgeon. Highly recommend for anyone looking for wisdom teeth surgery!

It was the most painless x-ray I've ever done. I would go here just for her. And Dr. Eric Miller is similarly amazing - kind, efficient, and communicative. I had some stains on my teeth and he went out of his way to make sure he got them all, and now my teeth sparkle. :) Going to the dentist is never fun, but Issaquah Highlands Dental Group makes doing so 1,000 times better! Also: One of my favorite things about this dental group is that they are 100% transparent up front about costs. I'm never wondering mid-procedure whether I'll be paying a huge fee afterward. They check with my insurance for me and always make sure I'm aware of and agree with the charges before doing anything.
