Amazing. Dr. Gavin does beautiful work. He is very knowledgeable and a master at his practice. I suffer from anxiety and I put off my tummy tuck for years due to fear. I did my research, followed a few people on instagram that got their procedures at athenix and knew I would be safe and results would be great. They were! I'm so happy with everything and so thankful to the staff. I traveled all the way from Nebraska because I did not trust anywhere else. The price was higher than other places I consulted but they are up to par with the expectations. My wellbeing does not have a price and I would pay that and more for the peace of mind I received. You know the saying... you get what you pay for. :) read more

I had breast implant removal and a tummy tuck 3 years ago here with Dr. Dry. On the day of surgery, the nurse that drew my blood and gave me pills before going into the room for my surgery was moving super fast like she had 10 people outside waiting for surgery too. She messed up in inserting my IV and I had blood squirting out like a waterfall and I almost fainted. Still I decided to go through with it because this is something I had debated for years and didn't want to go back. Two weeks after my surgery I was not getting any better and had to go to a walk in clinic, I month later I found out a had a giant tumor on top on my lung and it ran up to my throat. Since the experience here was not good and I found out I had a giant tumor right afterwards, I just find this very strange. I would not recommend this place to a friend. read more

This is going to be a long review. Im about a month post op and just feel so happy with the results so far. My confidence is back. My energy is boosted to get out of the house and do more things. Didn't really realize how much I held myself back just from feeling uncomfortable with body. I had an extended tummy tuck and lipo on my back. I came in last year for consultation. Set my date for aug 25th 2022. Which gave me time to do research on post care and what supplies I will need for recovery. Yes they do give you a list and they also call you and let you know everything you need to do to prepare for your big day. Everyone that I interacted with was so nice, pleasant and caring. From consultation to post. Even when I called just to ask questions to make sure I'm doing everything right. So I came in for consultation for mommy makeover . Breast lift and tummy tuck. So I was so excited. I have always had love handles even before kids. My ex tried to kill me and ended up leaving me with a lot of scars and a crooked belly button thought it was unfix able so I gave up hope. I didn't really know what to expect. So I was still nerves to meet with the Dr. I met with Dr Dry weeks before my procedure date. I let him know that due to rainy days (gotta take care of kids and home first) I was unable to do the lift. So we are only doing Tummy tuck. He let me know what procedure would be the best for my body. Ended up deciding to do the extended tummy tuck which wraps around the back and gets rid of the muffin top love handles, a scar on my side and fixes my belly button. I was so excited. Dr Dry was super nice and I just felt like I was in good hands. Day of procedure!! Came in at 7. Was taken to the back to go over post op care with Anna. I think I was so nerves I felt like I was about to faint. But she took care of me. Dr Dry came in and did all his lines on me that he needed. And than off to the room and I was out. I just can't say enough how much I appreciate Dr Dry. Very thankful for him working with me from traditional TT to extended TT He went above and beyond what i asked of him. He really exceeded my expectations. I look great I feel great. Thanks to the whole team. Im still healing so I know it will only get better . read more

RUN from Dr. Dragotti. Left two huge scars on my body. When asked how it can be fixed, he suggested heavy makeup. He also deformed my stomach and needed several revisions to fix the lopsidedness . The absolute worst money you will ever spend and I spent a lot more trying to fix the problems he made. I don't know if he was learning on me or what but now I have embarrassing large scars forever and he did not inform me I would have any. read more

In November 2021 I had my 360 Lower Body Lift (with Liposuction/Muscle Repair as well!) done after having lost 80 pounds on my own a couple years prior! They removed 10 lbs total off my body from front, sides, and low back/bum. Dr. Dry performed the procedure and I'm absolutely blown away by what they were able to do!! Each day the swelling goes down more and I can better see the results! As far as the work my surgeon was able to perform on me is nothing short of amazing; his attention to detail shows- my body looks and feels like everything I dreamed it might! My belly button is so cute, my scar is fading nicely, and I'm blown away with how good I feel with recovery so far! My experience was so good from start to finish at the actual facility: I felt so well taken care of, and never felt like there was anything I wasn't prepared for. All my questions were answered, and everything that happened during recovery I had expected because I'd been told before to expect by the nurses and my surgeon. When I got nervous prior to surgery day they also constantly reassured me that everything would go according to plan(which of course it did!). I just couldn't have asked for better staff! I'm so so happy with how my body looks and feels, I could never have imagined it looking the way it does!!! Worth every penny, and I'd do it all over again! I can't wait to see how it all looks in 8 months once I hit my year mark! I will 100% be returning to Athenix for any future procedures! read more

My experience with Athenix (at the Seattle/Bellevue location) was nothing short of FIRST-RATE in every conceivable way imaginable. My first points of contact, Leslie (the Practice Manager) and Toccara (Assistant Manager), were warm, welcoming, and truly eager to help zero in on what my particular body concerns were, listen to my goal/s, and - with the help of my incredible surgeon, Dr. Gavin Dry, achieve them. My main area of interest was in their Micro-Body Contouring (MBC) procedure. I'm 5'7" with a naturally slender build, and had been concerned about the amount of increased fat around my stomach and flanks that I had gained, not just during the Covid pandemic, but also after 38 years of life in general. My normal weight is around 145-150 pounds. Pre-Athenix, I was at 160. For a guy who is naturally slender everywhere else, it felt odd to have that tummy fat and side fat. I felt, at a certain point, that those areas didn't "match the rest of me," and always knew I'd do something about it eventually. And in June of last year, I finally went for it. I had Micro-Body Contouring performed on my full upper and lower abdomen, flanks and lower back. On the day of surgery, I couldn't have been more pepped and excited; there had been some anticipatory build-up to that day, and it was cool to know it was finally happening, and I'd walk out of Athenix's offices - that day - a physically different person, with the kind of body I had more in mind for myself and one that I felt even more confident in. The entire support staff, from the nurses, assistants and my anesthesiologist, were similarly warm, welcoming and professional. They had just a perfect balance of bedside manner and playful humor that really helps keep your spirits up and in a positive zone for the day of my procedure. On a side note, this air of positivity and cheeriness pervades all areas of Athenix, from when you first walk in the door, to the consultation and examination rooms, through to OR and other areas. As far as the Bellevue location is concerned, I believe that is a direct result of the way Practice Manager Leslie Taylor runs "her ship," and the good energy really does flow from the top and down, to every single person who works there. It's kind of an unavoidable side-effect of just being a patient there -- and that's a good thing. All pre- and post-op procedures were followed by the team, and by myself, including the use of a compression garment, applying lymphatic massage, and applying a specialized (Arnica) gel to improve both the duration and results of recovery. At my initial consultation, I was told what told what to expect vis-a-vis these pre/post-op procedures, and what the overall recovery experience would be like, so I was prepared. And I'm happy to say, recovery really proceeded along without a hitch, with healing and results increasing and perfecting with every passing week. Which brings me to what a lot of potential patients might be wondering about most -- the results. To put it very simply, I could not (and can not!) have been happier. Dr. Gavin Dry has an incredible eye, attention to detail, deft skill when performing the MBC procedure, and equally important - he's a great listener with impeccable OR and bedside manner when engaging and working with his patients. His work, his expertise and care, helped craft a brand new me - that was, just as I had hoped, with a flat tummy and sides that "matched the rest of me." I couldn't be happier, more excited, or more grateful to Dr. Dry and the entire team at the Athenix location in Bellevue for what they've added to my life to boost my self-image and body-confidence. Body-confidence, self-image and self-esteem are critically important, whether you're a man or a woman, when it comes to considering a body-enhancing procedure. We can ALL benefit from that kind of confidence boost (who wouldn't???) and I'm so, so glad I chose Athenix! read more

After losing 125lbs on my own, in October 2022 I had a 360 body lift with muscle repair with Athenix as a recipient of their #AthenixGivesBack campaign. My surgeon, Dr. Dry, removed just over 9lbs total from my body (front abdomen, sides, and back) and repaired my abdominal muscles that were 6cm separated. I'm currently 8 weeks post op, and I'm blown away by my results. My front abdomen is so flat and my belly button is healing well. Going into the conversation with Athenix I thought a tummy tuck was all that I'd need. Athenix recommended the 360 body lift, and I'm so glad they did! In the end half of my loose skin that was removed came from my back--pulling up the skin on my outer thighs and on my butt too. I'm so incredibly happy with my results, and I'm so thankful for the Athenix team. My patient care coordinator, the nurses, anesthesiologist, my surgeon--everyone has been phenomenal to work with. read more

Honestly, the doctors and staff at Athenix in Bellevue are world class. I went to Dr. Dry to have excess skin/fat removed on my hips/thigh after I had disappointing results from a mommy makeover (done by a surgeon in Fort Worth, TX). From my first consult with Athenix to now everyone has been so incredibly helpful and supportive. Living in Texas, I was nervous to travel to Washington for surgery but the team at Athenix made all of the pre-surgery easy. The team was extremely communicative and they always answered all my questions quickly. I was impressed the day before surgery when the anesthesiologist contacted me and this made me feel much less anxious for my surgery day. Everyone was so kind the day of surgery and they've continued to be incredibly helpful post-surgery as well. Dr. Dry is simply in a league of his own when it comes to post-weight loss surgery. He is a true artist. After being disappointed in the results of my first surgery, I honestly didn't have high expectations for what was possible but what Dr. Dry was able to accomplish has been absolutely miraculous. He removed 5lbs of excess skin and fat from my lower body and the incision is already so incredibly thin and small (and healing well). Honestly, there's no other surgeon or surgical center out there that does the amazing work that Athenix does! They're simply the best. read more

Hello everyone! I'd like to share my experience with Athenix at the Bellevue location and share my surgery journey, thus far. I had decided in 2018 that I wanted a Brazilian butt lift. I made a consultation a consultation and began to save for the down payment. My procedure included lipo from my buffalo hump (a hump At the top of my back right below my neck), arms, upper back, bra roll, lower back and love handles. I also included lipo on my pubic area and a fat transfer to my butt. Throughout the 2 years, prior to my surgery, I had kept in contact with Athenix and I am so grateful that they were so understanding about my questions and concerns. I'd like to thank Tocarra for continuing to put my mind at ease (she works up front). Fast forward to May of 2020. Athenix reopened their doors and had new safety guidelines for their patients due to the Covid-19. Leading up to my surgery on may 28, everyone at Athenix did everything in their power to make me feel as comfortable and safe as possible. When i went in for my pre op appointment, it was so great to see everyone and put a face on those who i was talking to over the phone. I had finally met Dr. Dry and I asked all the questions I could. He answered all of them and I knew I was in good hands. He was very honest with what I should expect and did say that I would be left with some loose skin from the lipo. I value and appreciate his honesty. It made me more realistic of my goals and what is to be expected. The night before surgery, I received a text message from the woman that would be doing my anesthesia. She gave her name and credentials and offered to answer any questions I had through text or phone call. I asked a few questions and she also was able to put my mind at ease. The day of surgery I was a little nervous but not as nervous as I had thought. I believe that the bedside manner and compassion that the staff at Athenix had shows me, def. Helped in reducing pre surgery anxiety. The first three days of surgery were painful. Athenix checked Up on me (phone calls) to make sure i was alright. I saw Dr. Dry again at my post op appointment and he said I'm healing nicely. I'm now 6 and a half weeks out and I'm loving my results. I have a new shape to my body, a nice plump booty, and no more back fat. I'm still swollen but that's to be expected. I do have some loose skin from the lipo, but again to be expected based off what genetics are and how my body heals. I will want a round two for a back lift and brachioplasty (arm lift). Dr. Dry is an amazing surgeon. I will def go to him and Athenix again. Thank you for making me fall in love with myself. (Also- the compression suit is to help keep the shape your surgeon gave you and help with swelling). read more

**update April 2019 The owner claims to care about patients yet his "attempt" to make things right was to offer a 10% discount on an additional service. What a total lack of concern or professionalism. Many women have reached out to me privately as posting a review can be intrusive and embarrassing. I can provide recommendations for mediators and know your limits to pursue- you have a max of 3 years. And Check your agreement- you will be required to arbitrate before you bring on a malpractice lawsuit... just more time and money wasted until you eventually take it to trial... I have friends who have done procedures and they would never pick Athenix... it's too scary to leave this in hands of people who don't give promised results and don't care about patients. **** I am an active mom of two kiddos in elementary school. I work out and run almost daily and recently completed a half marathon in October. I believe in a healthy, balanced lifestyle but regardless of my choices, I hadn't been able to lose my baby belly fat. This has been a source of deep sadness and disappointment for me given how active I am. I had been against plastic surgery but came to a point where i just wanted my pre-baby body back. I wanted to look as fit as I felt. So.... In March I became a patient of Athenix and Dr. Dry was my surgeon. I paid over $9,000 for a procedure in March. At every single appointment, I showed zero results. I felt very sad and defeated but kept being told that results would come. At my latest appointment, with no results I was shamed by The surgeon and his staff for "gaining weight" - which the last appointment was the first appointment ever where he "claimed" to remove 13 pounds (the almost 5 liters of fat) whereas prior, I was never given a number. The recovery process for this was beyond painful- worse than delivering either of my kids. I am left with no results, the pain of recovery + time lost from work and of course, the steep $9k plus. Sadly this will result in pursuing legal action (mediation as it's in the contract) and no doubt me still wanting the results I never received. Please think twice about using a surgeon who does not care about his patients or stand by his word read more

Do not get breast implants here(do not get them period). My implants are killing me and all I want is for them to get these out of me. I've been in and out of hospitals and put on IVs so my organs don't all shut down. Every doctor says I need these out and when I go to Athenix all they care about is money not my life. Please rethink getting implants. My implants have made me so sick for years and I cannot wait for the day to get this out of my body. I am working with my insurance now and they said I'm in a severe condition due to my implants and they are going to cover me to get them out with someone else Since Athenix won't help. Don't be fooled by them... they seem so sweet and caring but once your procedure is done your health and happiness is no concern of theirs and they won't help you. I've been trying to get them to help me for years. read more

A note I wrote to the owner of this business. I wanted to write a note about my experience with your Bellevue team and Dr. Dry. You should know that your team has gone above and beyond for me and that they have been wonderful to work with. As you know, I had some work done back in 2019 at Athenix and I was very pleased. I went in this time to talk about getting more work done and thought I knew what I "needed". Katie took one look at me and said, "you don't need that, and I know Dr. Dry will agree" and "you also don't need that". She waited to give me a quote so she could show my pictures to Dr. Dry and confirm her evaluation was correct. She called me the next day and said she had time to sit down with Dr. Dry and he confirmed that what she said was correct and told her what he would recommend...which was A LOT less work than what I thought I "needed". Much to my surprise my consult with Katie and the further evaluation by Dr. Dry wasn't about getting me to do a bunch of surgery so they could make a big sale but instead what was going to look good and what I actually need to achieve the results I want (besides just laying off the wine. Lol...). Truth be told I met with my friend's doctor a couple months ago and he would have done everything I thought I "needed" for $40,000, so this response was very much appreciated and goes a long way. I told Katie "don't worry, I'll be back every two to four years for something or another anyway". Hahah! Your team is a class act. read more

If you've ever thought about any type of cosmetic surgery - non invasive to invasive, come here! Staff is super nice and Dr P is insanely talented. I've researched a lot before taking the plunge and I couldn't be more happier with my decision. Internet said downtown would be a few weeks. With Dr P, I was up and moving after 4 days. And I had a pretty intense procedure. BBL with fat transfer! Day of surgery: Stayed up all night researching all the possibilities of what could go wrong (definitely recommend against! Lol). Blood pressure was sky rocketed before surgery. Friendly nurses helped me calm down to get levels down and I was able to proceed. Day of surgery: Next 3 days I was in pain. But also I was able to get by with just the Tylenol and much sleep! Day 4: Sore and tingly. Would recommend taking it easy. But if you have a job where you're not lifting and sitting, you can resume light activities. Day 5: I could see immediate results. Very swollen but that went down after 1-2 months. 14 days later: Traveled to Switch from Seattle. Comfortably. Moral of the story.. just do it. And if you are, going to.. go see Dr P at Athenix. read more

Dr. John Bullis (was at Athenix, now at a2zenmd) fixed my horrid pubic scar such that it is now invisible!!!!!! I had the scar from a myomectomy like 13 years ago. It was an ugly uneven scar, right above my pubic hair. My "stomach" skin hung up and folded at the scar, even though my tummy is near flat. Other Drs had tried prying the scar, and injecting fat under it, but none of that made any difference. Dr. Bullis took a little skin out and now no one without high powered vision can see any part of the scar!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dr. Bullis is a genius. read more

I had a breast aug with Dr. Day in November. He was so genuinely kind and answered all my questions before my procedure and even made some recommendations and drew some examples out to help me see what he was talking about. I definitely went the route of having a lift as well because it made more symmetrical sense. After the pre-op I felt so confident and comfortable going in the morning of surgery. The nurses were so amazing! I had some reservations about the size I chose so Dr. Day brought in some implants to check out one last time and allowed me a last minute change up! As time passes I am happier and happier with my results every day as the scars heal. Every follow up he really listens and has great advice for after care. I would highly recommend and will go again if I decide in the future to get more plastics. read more

If your thinking about booking an appointment with them *PLEASE READ!* I booked an appointment for jan 31, Jessica one of the receptioniast was being very disrespectful on the phone with me a week before. When I got there the day of my surgery the girl that was my interpreter that day (cenia) was being really rude when I came in. Cenia and Sara which was my anesthesiologist tested me for covid and under five minutes they came and told me I was positive for COVID. I found that weird because covid tests take about 15 minutes and they told me in less than 15 minutes. I also then asked if I could just cancel everything now that I felt like we wasted so much time and money just going on 3 hour trips all the way to the Bellevue Athenix Complex multiple times for seperate consultations just to get told that I had "covid" on the day of the surgery, I was then told by (cenia) in a very rude way that to receive the money we would have to call the office and have a waiting period of 60 - 90 days to receive a refund. They then proceeded to kick me out of the building because I had "covid" but no one showed me my results of how they came out. On the way out my son overheard them laughing. I felt like they care more about the money more than the patients since they have a goal of how many people they schedule. 3 days before I went to my doctor and I took a covid test and I came out negative. Previous to the surgery, I had asked for 2 weeks off work for my surgery. Because of my " positive covid test" I wasnt able to go back to work and i missed those 2 weeks of work as well as my husband because he had also asked for 2 weeks because he was going to take care of me during that time period, and because of the "positive covid test" he won't be able to work either and that is not counting the days we also had to miss work to go to the consultations over on the Bellevue Athenix Complex. Because of that "positive covid test" my son has missed one whole week of school. read more

The whole team at Athenix is amazing! I first consulted with Elle back in September and immediately knew I wanted to book with them! I just had my belt lipectomy with Dr. Dry and absolutely love my results and I'm only 15DPO!! You can tell Dr. Dry takes pride in his work and is a perfectionist. My incision is so clean and healing nicely. I also am having a second surgery with him in April. Every staff member I've come in contact with has been so helpful and supportive. From Elle, to Dr. Dry, Leslie, Michelle, Dee...all of you are so wonderful! I cannot thank Dr. Precht and the wonderful staff at Athenix enough for their care and wonderful results for my breast augmentation. At my first meeting with Elle, she took care to make me feel comfortable and answered all my questions, with no sales pressure whatsoever. It was important to me that my augmentation was through the armpit as I did not want any scars on my breasts. I was also concerned about my body rejecting the implant and so I wanted saline so that if something happened, it would be an easy removal. All of this was more than fine as it seemed to be Dr. Precht's specialty. Dr. Precht is truly an artist, and took into account my original asymmetry, one side being a B cup and the other a small C, and balanced them out perfectly by inflating the implant more in one side than the other. For the first two weeks I felt that I was waaaaay too big and was lamenting about the size I picked (although Hubby never complained), but after the swelling went down and, now, 8 weeks out from surgery, my breasts are PERFECT! They are soft, even, and feel like me, just me! I feel more confident, and I am (finally!) hourglass proportionate to my curvy hips. Most of my life I have worn padded push-up bras that didn't fit correctly due to my lopsidedness, having to pull my boobs into abnormal positions to make them look just right. It feels so good now to be able to wear a nice, normal bra that supports, fits well and doesn't smash my poor nipples. On the customer service side, Dr. Precht made it clear that I could call or text her personal cel phone at any time if I had any concerns or questions, Each time I did, I received a response within the hour. This was above and beyond my expectations, and it was much appreciated. After spending over 500 hours looking at reviews and before & after photos on the internet, I feel like Dr. Precht is absolutely in the top 1% for the best results for breast augmentations. I am so so thrilled and will use Athenix again if I am looking for additional improvements for Me 2.0. :) read more

Well everyone, I got my boobs done a year ago and since they had developed a double bubble when I lifted my arms. So as promised I scheduled to get a revision done. I got lipo and the revision. Well during my pre op appointment dr dry told me I wouldn't need to get another scar and that he would go in the current incision area. When I got to the day of my surgery he told me I have to have another scar under my breasts so he can stitch it into place, and it seemed as though he wasn't sure what to do to fix it. This was done yesterday, they look EXTREMELY SMALLER and kind of square shaped, I just want to cry. I wish I would have never did the revision I feel like they are the same size now as before I even got implants just perkier! I got lipo done as well. I know it may change a bit when swelling goes down and I will update with pictures. I am soo unhappy I wish I would have never got the revision you would think for paying so much money you would get what you want.. read more

WOW! I'm impressed! Recently, I purchased a www.livingsocial.com deal for body sculpting at Athenix. Last Friday was my first appointment. The staff, Jessica and Tocarra were very courteous at the front desk and made me feel very comfortable. I know very little about "body sculpting." We went into the treatment room and Jessica explained the Vela Body Sculpting procedure to me and how it worked. I'm leaving on a trip to a warm climate and ladies, I have dimples and cellulite on my thighs and the thought of a bathing suit right now is stressing me to the max. I wasn't even certain which area to select for her to perform the procedure on so I asked for her input. Jessica unpretentiously and kindly suggested the area just above the knees and below the hips without making me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed of my dimply legs. Each step of the procedure was fully explained to me along the way so I knew exactly what to expect. Her product knowledge was excellent and her warm personality combined with terrific communication skills made the entire procedure as comfortable as possible. We chatted the whole time. BUT, it gets better. Jessica noted that I probably wouldn't see any difference after the first procedure at all. So, the next morning I thought I'd look in the mirror at these legs..I was elated to see that there IS a slight improvement in the smoothness in the area she treated! I have several more appointments booked and am looking forward to them! If you are considering body sculpting be I certainly am having a great result here. Am impressed with their level of customer service, professionalism, expertise and wow to actually visibly see some smoothing after one visit is nothing short of a miracle! I'm very happy with Athenix....Jessica and Tacaara! You rock! read more

I live in Bellingham, WA, and the treament center I was interested in attending was in Bellevue, WA, some 1 1/2 hours away. In order to gather information regarding the procedure I was interested in, the staff swapped several phone calls/emails with me over a weeks time and answered every question I had...no matter how ridiculous they seemed. I went in for my procedure on Thursday, September 29th. I had my stomach, love handles and back fat taken out. What a delight the staff and the doctor was. I am pretty much a baby and drama queen, and have to say the procedure went amazing. When I saw the results, I cried with pure joy! It has now been over a week, and I feel great. Other than massaging the area that was worked on...ouch!...I am so pleased with my results. So is my husband... Dr. Lisa Precht is an angel sent from heaven...she sculpted my body as if I was her canvas and she was the artist. Her excitement and overall enthusiasm is contagious. I would recommend Athenix Body Sculpting to any of my friends and family, and I will be going back to get my legs done and my breasts...addicting :) Nancy read more

As a guy, it took me months to get the nerve to even schedule an appointment. But, i had reached the point where my work and gym balance were getting me nowhere with my belly and love handles. Deep breath, i met with the consult. Not only did i find the information very useful, the team made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I left feeling very informed, excited, but skeptical. The follow up with Dr. Precht was great. She is so nice and very up front. She was so clear on expectations. My appointment came and went and there I was, post surgery. I had almost no bruising and was up and about in a day. I am so happy with the results, my tummy is flat, my love handles are gone. its like it never happened and wow, im slim again. Thank you Dr. Precht and the wonderful fun team. This experience was great and the results are far exceeding my expectations. read more

2 months ago, I had micro body contouring to my abdomen, outer thighs, hips and waist along with a fat transfer to my buttocks. I had been working out and eating healthy, and my body was as good as it could get with diet and exercise. Dr. Dry did an amazing job on my surgery! He is extremely skilled, or magic---or perhaps both:) He has great bedside manner, and always takes time with me and answers any questions I've had. I never dreamed my body could look the way it does now! Even if I had worked out for 2 hours a day and ate like a rabbit, there is NO way I could ever have the body I have now! The staff are very knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable. During my surgery Kathy, Nicole and Sarah (the staff members who were with me), made me at ease, and my anesthesia provider Allyn, was also great! My only regret is that I didn't do this 10 years ago! read more

Summary: I had my first body contouring procedure with Athenix and the experience was absolutely perfect, so I came back for another that also went incredibly well. Athenix knows body contouring better than anyone in Seattle/Eastside. I spent about a year researching different body sculpting procedures and went to several plastic surgeons (some of which charged me $100-200 for their consultations) and athenix and sonobello. I was a very informed consumer and was able to ask tough questions about credentials, procedures and results. I initially chose Athenix because of the comfort level I had when dealing with the staff and doctors. I felt that they were not only the most knowledgeable about body contouring, but they explained everything upfront. That may not seem significant to you if you're just starting to look into a procedure, but believe me, not everyone is going to give you all the details about garments, recovery time, realistic expectations, and pain management. I barely had any questions left to ask at my consultation, because they spent ZERO time trying to play salesman and just gave me the info I needed to make a good choice. Most plastic surgeons I talked to had fake tans and sales-y speeches and 3-4 breast implant patients in their waiting rooms -not what I was looking for. After that, it was a happy coincidence that the staff were very friendly, very accommodating, and really made me feel like I was their highest priority, 100% of the time. The procedure I had was full abdominal and hips. I have a high tolerance to painkillers, but it was not too painful. Very solid medical practices were followed, professional communication with each other and myself, very sanitized and rigorous equipment handling, everything felt right. I never had a concern about their surgery center, and I tried hard to find flaws, I don't believe one can be too careful. Dr. Precht did such an amazing job that I referred my wife, who also had an excellent experience and a rocket-fast recovery, despite doing many more areas. We now affectionately refer to Dr. Precht as the "fat whisperer" :) Leslie, the practice manager, is one of the nicest and most genuine people I've ever met. She will make your day no matter what. Toccara is another great staff member at Athenix, she always made the schedule work for me and never made assumptions about answers to my questions without double-checking, even though she was usually right :) I would refer anyone to Athenix, and I have! Not everyone is going to leave a review about their experience for one reason or another, but there was no way I was going to miss a chance to tell anyone who is thinking about going somewhere else that you need to come in and see these guys, they are phenomenal, professional, and as an absolutely final note, affordable! read more

Not off to a good start so far. I promise to update if it gets better. The culprits of the rocky start: lack of pre-appointment phone call with a reminder of the necessary OTC restrictions coupled with ignorant front desk staff members and clinicians. Upon finding that I had taken Zyrtec, they told me that it was a sun-sensitive drug and that my appointment will have to be rescheduled. Meanwhile, I asked if they had a list of drugs for me to take home, and they had none. They were just rattling drug names off the tops of their heads (I could mention blond, but that would be unfair). They had no medical degrees that I could gather, and their only responses were that the onus was on the patient to call and ask them for clarification. Now being that my appointments were made over 6 weeks ago, I was lucky to have remembered the date/time of my appointments given that no reminder call was received! So when all was said and done, the appointment was rescheduled and I went home. And of course, being the analyst that I am, I have now two lists that don't claim to be comprehensive but are from reputable web sources. Nowhere on the over 20 pages of drug names is Zyrtec or Cetirizine (the antihistamine drug in Zyrtec). OK...here goes nothing... -- Update: these people do care that their rating was poor (was 1 star). I have received phone calls from their HQ in California as well as the Bellevue location. When I went in for my appointments, they went swimmingly because I decided not to fight people who don't know for certain about which OTC drugs are sun-sensitive yet have the control over whether or not I go through with my appointments. As well, they were very courteous and tried their hardest to change my perception of their business. The result of the treatments for which I had purchased the Groupon was non-existent. I find out afterwards that the Groupon was meant to be a hook for you to buy more services. I will not discuss the merits and detriments of such an arrangement, but will just mention that since I did not choose to purchase more treatments (Groupon was 3 treatments and according to them, it takes 6-8 for results to be visible), I should not have expected to see any improvements. Of course, I am welcomed to make an appointment and have them assess whether or not I am a good candidate for other treatments. But since I have to spend more money (significantly more money) for the high probability of no results, I think I'm going to pass. read more

If you're thinking of weight loss via orbera, I would look elsewhere. While the balloon does help lose some weight, there is absolutely no support from staff throughout the entire 6 months. Your nutrition meetings are not in person and there's absolutely no accountability. The nutritionist repeats herself every single phone meetiIf you still want the balloon, get it elsewhere where they support you more because you won't get it here. I'm currently a client of Athenix. My profile name is fake because I should be able to freely evaluate companies based on what they offer and how I'm treated as a consumer without consequences or threats of taking my review down. read more

I was very skeptical of this procedure when I first visited Athenix. I originally came into the clinic with a daily deal coupon for a Vela Shape. My esthetician Katie was awesome and made me feel so comfortable and not out of place as most clients are women. I chose to not continue with Vela Shape as it didn't appear to be a fit for my body. I then decided to go for a micro-body contouring consult and met with Elle, who is awesome. I was concerned about a facility that offers discounts for Vela Shape but quickly put those feelings aside after touring the facility and the openness from the whole staff. Elle answered a TON of questions and didn't seem to mind that I had so many. I then made an appointment to come back and meet with Dr. Precht who again answered a ton more question. Between both Dr. Precht and Elle, I must have asked 100 questions and they answered them all honestly without a sales pitch. Elle was so great to work with and addressed all my concerns over the phone and email. She worked really hard to make sure I felt good about the procedure. I feel like she went above and beyond with talking about the finances. Toccara is another Atenix employee that went above and beyond. Whenever I called she made sure my concerns were answered and that I was at ease. She shared personal information of her own that really helped me feel comfortable. On the day of the surgery Denise, Katie and Bonita were great and put me at ease for the procedure. Dr. Precht was in an upbeat mood and her confidence got me excited for the results. The procedure was close to painless and almost relaxing with great music and laughter from the Dr. and nurses. I received a follow-up call the next day and it was very appreciated to know the entire Athenix staff is concerned about my well-being. It's too early to see results but can notice a difference already, next day. I look forward to sharing the full results. read more

Almost 3 weeks out from micro contouring on inner/outer thighs and hips/sides. I'm very pleased with the results. I am not suddenly skinny, but I got rid of those humpy saddle bags and muffin top. More discomfort than I expected, but I was reluctant to take the pain medication after the procedure, (I'm sure that would have helped!). Couldn't have been too bad since I went to Amsterdam six days afterward! Moved pretty slow for that first week, though. The staff is incredible and they definitely make the experience more comfortable. The whole office is great and Dr Precht is very reassuring and professional. I would definitely recommend this procedure if you have stubborn problem areas and want a great experience, as well as great results! read more
