I am so glad I got to have this done. I am a woman who is just shy of 30 years old and have recently lost about 45 pounds, but had a stubborn double-chin. It was something that had bothered me since I was 10 years old, whether I was overweight or not. The first doctor I contacted (not Dr. Zemplenyi) said I should get submentalplasty -- that was a little too much of a production for me. Dr. Zemplenyi kept it simple and conservative and said I should do lipo first, but that I might have to come back if he didn't take enough off. I appreciated that Dr. Zemplenyi didn't push me to go for a bigger (and more expensive) procedure, but still informed me about the options. He also was the only one to tell me about potential risks - which luckily didn't happen to me - while the other doctor didn't say anything about that. So I also appreciated that he was honest. Dr. Zemplenyi is a quirky guy and he knows it, but I appreciated that he looked at my chin as if he were an artist. Every person's face is different and I felt like he was really trying to get the best result possible for MY face. PROCEDURE Ok so like I said, I had under-chin lipo. I chose to do it under what I think was mild sedation. I had painkillers but I was still awake. I remember him doing the procedure, but I felt calm. I didn't feel pain. I felt pressure and movement. Recovery was more involved than I thought it would be. It hurt. There was a fair amount of swelling but not a lot of bruising. I got this done on a Thursday, and took Friday and Monday off of work. I worked from home until the following Thursday. Be prepared to take it easy. I should also note that I don't respond well to opioids so I stuck with Tylenol and it was enough for me to keep it manageable. RESULTS I am SO HAPPY with my results. The sheer brain space I have freed up now that I no longer worry about my double-chin? Amazing. If you are on the fence, contact him for a consultation. It was less expensive than I was expecting and about half the price of the submentalplasty the other doctor suggested. As someone who works as a healthcare consultant and regularly helps private practices strengthen their operations, train staff, and build their reputation, I tend to notice weak points quickly. In this case, the office manager's interactions with patients often come across as cold and unnecessarily snarky. I've overheard this more than once. She's clearly efficient with administrative tasks, but direct patient communication may not be her strong suit. That said, the medical care itself--from Dr. Tarbet and Natalia--is exceptional, which is why I continue to return.

Dr. Remington gave me exactly what I wanted and my breast looks amazing! I had the surgery performed on a Thursday and I was back to work by Monday. My scars are small and perfectly placed in the crease under my breasts. His office is very professional and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The location has easy access off of 405 and the hospital has free parking. It took me years to get up the courage to have the surgery, which was silly now that I know how easy it all was. He and the rest of the staff did some hand-holding for me due to my fear of general anesthesia for which I am so grateful. Dr Remington has his son Austin working there who is also a plastic surgeon. I have not had a procedure done by him but I know he assisted on one of mine. I had a follow up appointment with him in lieu of Dr Bradley due to schedule issues and he was friendly and professional also. I hear he is also very skilled. Jen, who works at the front desk, I think is the office manager. She runs things very efficiently and I can't say enough nice things about her. Super sharp and no BS. I think she adds huge value as she is on top of everything. I sent a non-urgent email on a Friday night, not expecting a response until Monday morning but she emailed me back early Saturday morning from home! She checks her emails all weekend even though they are not open. Communication is crisp which is important to me. I've been a registered nurse/nurse practitioner for 30 years or so AND briefly worked in a plastic surgery practice so I have the capacity to notice when things are "off" or not good or unprofessional, but I have noticed nothing of the kind.. The nurses who work in surgery are top notch too although my times with them have been brief because in surgery you are asleep most of the time. They totally put me at ease and the vibe is they enjoy working there. I think Bradley makes it fun because he likes to banter a little. So this is is my very long-winded "definite recommend". My partner went in only for consultation and has dental procedure trauma. I was there for support, if needed. In the packet they include detailed pre/post op instructions, and opioid handouts. If someone is coming in only for a consultation is it truly necessary to receive those immediately upon checking in? It can great unnecessary anxiety and panic. On top of the team being 30 mins late, pop music blasting, and my partners worst fear in a packet on her lap. I had to say something. Front desk is kind, but when asked about the packet, and the wait.. they stared with glossed over eyes and cold tone. To be fair, not their fault... Please be mindful, not every patient is the same. Some have anxiety/trauma and your set-up is not conducive to that. Consider reviewing the check-in docs maybe? I'd just recommend providing those documents during the appointment itself! Surgery Cancelled Day Of - $25K Lost, No Warning About Nicotine Test…read more I scheduled for surgery with Dr. Salemy, paying $25,000 in full. On the day of surgery, I was told the procedure was canceled due to a positive nicotine test--something I was never informed would be required on the day of surgery. I was left emotionally devastated and financially drained. No part of the surgery was performed, and the practice refused to return any of my payment. After speaking with the office on the day of the surgery when I was groggy from medications and then one less than 10 minute conversation, the office told me they would not be discussing with me any further my request for a refund or alternative to losing out on my 25k payment.

After visiting Dr. Stern for about 5 years, I'm finally writing a review that's long overdue…read more I initially came to visit for a tattoo removal service, they had a promotion that was $2k for unlimited treatments, until it was gone. Every time I visited, the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, even after five years. Eventually their laser machine had malfunctioned and they decided to discontinue the service. Upon the breaking the news to me, they offered to make me whole by refunding me a substantial amount of what I paid anyway, and referred to me another practitioner with a same quality of laser to get the job done. That was definitely a great demonstration of the practice's integrity, so I deeply appreciated that. During this time I also had a defect in on of the muscles of my eyelid. My right eye was noticeably droopier than my left, and it was really affecting my confidence. I looked like O__o From one of the staff, I learned that Dr. Stern actually has a specialty in ophthalmologic surgeries, so I was in luck. Long story short, my procedure was incredibly efficient, and the result is nothing short of amazing. I have a much more evenness to my eyes than I did even before the muscle failed. On top of that, in my post surgery aftercare kit that I was sent home with, Dr. Stern cared to give me a copy of his book the Endorphin Conspiracy since we had mentioned it briefly during our consultation. It was extremely thoughtful and I appreciate the gesture. Since then, I've been back many times to laser my eyelid scar and inquire regarding other procedures. During these times, my level of self confidence ebbed and flowed, as I'm sure it does with many people. There have been a few times when I asked Dr. Stern, "Should I do a facelift in the future?I'm concerned about ___" etcetera, but in hindsight, I noticed that Dr. Stern never capitalized on my insecurities. Instead, he would offer the most conservative solution. For example, my marionette lines had bothered me when I was first coming to his practice. Instead of endless filler that other wellness clinics have pushed on me, Dr. Stern advised that I used the minimum necessary dose of botox if it really did bother me. And even when I came in for the consultation of my eye, instead of assuming, he would ask me "Tell me what you are seeing" to determine what I felt like I needed done. Since time has passed, I've felt the need for less and am grateful that he never pushed anything on me. With all that said, the level of expertise, quality of work, and attention to care in comparison to the cost is a phenomenal value. I'm a shy person, but definitely appreciate that all of the staff take the time to exchange pleasantries and know their clientele personally. This practice is an absolute gem and will be my first choice every time.

Pictures included with this review…read more I debated for a long time about whether to write this review, but ultimately decided to share my experience in case it helps someone else researching injectors. I saw Jill at the beginning of the year after finding her through social media. One of the main reasons I chose her was because she heavily promotes herself as an injector trainer and educator online, which gave me confidence in her expertise. My main concern was the early appearance of jowls. During my consultation, she recommended three vials of Sculptra along with 2-3 syringes of filler, assuring me that after completing the treatment I likely wouldn't need to do anything else for the next several years. At 33 years old, I was initially surprised by the recommendation for three vials of Sculptra. I expressed my hesitation, but she explained that the guideline is roughly one vial per decade of age, which I later saw repeated online. Because of that, I trusted her recommendation. At first, I didn't notice many changes since Sculptra works gradually and cannot be dissolved. However, as the collagen stimulation developed over the following months, I became increasingly unhappy with the results. My naturally heart-shaped face gradually became much squarer and puffier, and my jawline looked noticeably heavier, which actually emphasized the concerns I had wanted to correct. It has been difficult coming to terms with those changes, especially knowing that Sculptra cannot simply be reversed and may take years to diminish. Following the Sculptra treatments, I also developed significant acne and severe pore congestion. When I brought it up, I was told I could go on medication to manage it which I declined. The filler was another disappointment. I was advised to place multiple syringes throughout my lower face to improve the jowls, but I believe the result was overfilled. Whenever I pushed my chin forward, there was a visible lump of filler, which I've included in one of my photos. What concerned me most was what happened at my follow-up appointment. After completing everything that had originally been recommended, I expected we were finished, as I had been told. Instead, I was encouraged to add even more Sculptra into my marionette lines. That was the moment I realized the goalposts had shifted. I had trusted the original treatment plan, believing it would achieve the desired result, and instead I was being advised to undergo even more treatment which was a major red flag for me. I also requested only a very subtle lip enhancement, but my lips ended up "subtly" uneven, because she didn't correct my asymmetry which is also visible in my photos. I never went back to address that because the trust was broken and because she used up a whole syringe and considering their practices I wouldn't want to pay more for correction. Overall, I left feeling that the amount of product recommended and ultimately injected was far more than what was necessary for me. My goal was to look refreshed and natural, but instead I felt overfilled, and I have spent months regretting that decision. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff also left a negative impression. On one visit, I was told I couldn't use the restroom inside the clinic and was directed to the public restroom in the building lobby instead. On another occasion, immediately after my procedure, a staff member stood in the doorway waiting for me to leave, which made me feel rushed and uncomfortable while I was still trying to gather my belongings. This experience cost me a significant amount of money, but more importantly, it has had a lasting impact on my confidence. Because Sculptra cannot be dissolved, I now have to wait years and hope my face gradually returns closer to its previous appearance. I hope sharing my experience helps others make an informed decision. Unfortunately, based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this clinic or the injector I saw.
