They contacted their maintenance team and were getting it scheduled. No updates and no solution. No maintenance came. We'd also had an emergency communication elevator alert beeping outside our door. We reported as well as others in the building had. They noted to us that they addressed with maintenance. No one came to fix it. There was also a rubber strip missing from the bottom of the shower door, which led to water pouring onto the bathroom floor. There were light bulbs out. There was trash not cleaned up on the floor around the bed. On the last day, prior to check out time and prior to my checking out on the portal, the cleaning service arrived to clean. Disappointing.

We were surprised by an upgraded room - corner suite due to our special celebration. The room was amazing - spacious, comfortable and with a great lake view, a full and half bath. The workout room is small and leaves a bit to be desired if you are used to a gym, but does the trick for a one-off cardio or strength training. I would highly recommend the Delamar for a romantic getaway, a great place to stay for a wine tour on the Old Mission Point, a family trip, a work trip and more. He needs to understand food management and hospitality. At one point, I thought he was the customer-not us. The bar and restaurant folks are the opposite of accommodating. It's unfortunate as our group of 16 would have happily spent more money here than we did. The front desk folks were nice but no one was there to oversee the complete and undeserved treatment by the manager / security person while we were being targeted because he didn't enjoy that we were somehow not proper enough for his restaurant. Then he followed us around like we were some group of degenerates even after we left. The restaurant was largely empty. We were not rowdy. We weren't insulting the staff. The worst we did was send a soup back because it was cold. Yes, for $24 a bowl, the soup should be hot. Go figure. What a wet blanket on an otherwise fantastic weekend with friends. We will not spend another dollar in this establishment and I would encourage you to take the same approach. People come to the peninsula to have a fun time with friends, laugh, drink wine, and live it up. Get a grip Delamar or you aren't going to have to worry about large groups like ours in the future.

They also have a free shuttle over to the casino, you can also rent ATVs or electric bikes, or other outdoor activity vehicles. The room was nice and open with a couch with a pullout sofa and a large bed a refrigerator, a coffee maker. Everything you could need a really nice desk. The furniture, including the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was very clean halls had lots of space so people could pass at the same time without running into each other, lots of seating areas, both on the floors of the hotel, and in the lobby area. In addition, there are a number of conference room, rooms or ballrooms for you to utilize if you wanted to have an event here. They also have an ax, throwing area, escape room, and a bowling area. This is a place you can really have a great experience. It is about 15 to 20 minutes out of Traverse City so you don't have all the traffic and congestion and you can do a lot right here at the hotel or by utilizing their shuttle. A really great property with great people at a very reasonable price for as nice as it is. Just blocks off the beach.

Our second night we had the Aji tuna dinner, fried artichokes and prime rib sliders with a homemade horseradish sauce/aujou . My sister lived in California for over 30 years. Upon arrival, we discovered a lady bug/beetle infestation. The dishes in the kitchen cabinets were dirty and also had beetles on them. The kitchen is also not a full kitchen as advertised. of the two bedrooms, one of them does not have heat, and the other one has a hidden baseboard heater which you are not made aware of. This resulted in us sleeping without heat before the first night. The bathrooms are absolutely filthy. Only 2 of us (out of 6 people) showered the entire weekend as the showers were very unclean. We had dog hair in the sheets of our bed. We realize mistakes can happen with cleaners so tried to work with the property owner, Jeff in hopes of working something out and issuing a partial refund for everything we encountered last weekend. He was very unprofessional and left us no choice but to contact AirBNB for help. After seeing our photos and videos, they agreed that we deserved a partial refund. I just wanted to help inform others to avoid renting from Crystal Adventures at all costs! It was a very unfortunate situation for our family.
