Upon arriving home from a weekend away, I was welcomed by perfectly manicured lawns, shrubs, bushes, etc. There were no weeds or pesky garbage from the neighbors captured in my yard (yes, I have SOME trashy neighbors...pun intended). They cleaned up any messes they may have made and left everything in pristine condition. As for the bottom line, they're $20 cheaper a month than the other guys and RELIABLE! I sure hope this relationship lasts for a long time because I despise looking for new gardeners!

I cannot say enough great things about this company! We moved into our home in Concord 8 months ago…read moreand the yard needed a lot of work. The first company we hired was taking our money and not providing us with a very good service. So, we saw this crew working across the street at our neighbor's home and talked to them about doing our yard. It has been about 2+ months now, and WOW. Our yard is looking so good that other neighbors have gone out of their way to compliment us on it. These people handle everything from sprinkler maintenance, planting, tree grooming, etc...Our lawn is the greenest, healthiest on the street and all of our new landscaping looks really sharp. Please give them a try! Oh, and because we don't have a truck, they even went to Costco to pick up our trees for us on their own time. Wow!!

Andrew McCoy is a flake. He responded to my craigslist ad…read morethat I was seeking a drywall installer. He sent his resume and said he would like the job. He said he would come on Sunday to give an estimate. Sunday came and he canceled because 'it is raining' and saying he no longer wants the job. The drywall job is inside a dry warehouse, he know this. He wasted both of our times, when he knew I was on a deadline. After I emailed Andrew saying he wasted by time he replied "I emailed you and said in wasn't coming. I dnt cell like dribbling in the storm for a funky ass drywall job. Fuk u" This is poor English and insulting, I would never recommend Andrew to anyone.

McCoy's Handyman Services…read more Andrew and his partner Shaun are friendly, polite & hardworking. They arrived promptly on the dates and times arranged and went immediately to work removing the patio cover and hauling it all away. They then started on the exterior of our house sealing cracks, pressure washing and applying a primer coat. They touched bases almost daily and were very attentive to our needs, clearly wanting to make sure that we were satisfied, which we definitely were. They also did a great job installing a garage door for us. When the work was finished and it came time to pay everything was very straightforward and totally consistent with the estimate. No surprise charges or last minute additions. Very refreshing! Completely happy with our recent house painting and experience with McCoy's Handyman Services. Don & Sharron Shepherd

After one false start with another plumber, I was happy to find god reviews for Quality Plumbing…read more I had a problem in my master bathroom for which the hot water handle needed to be repaired or replaced. I told Jim I wanted to avoid ripping out any of the tile to make the repair, as doing so would be so costly to replace tiles etc. He told me the hot water faucet needed a new cartridge to solve the problem. He order the part and returned a couple of weeks later and put the new cartridge, tested it and told me it now worked and I could use it. While working on the faucet, the shower head was knocked off and could not be repaired. It was old, I wasn't bothered by that. Jim told me what I needed to buy to replace it. As I have a second shower in the house and had a busy travel schedule through October, I simply put off shopping for a new shower head that I liked and simply used the other shower until this morning. Over the weekend I had run new caulking around the shower pan and as it was dry this morning, I screwed on the new shower head and was happy to finally be able to take a shower in the master bathroom again. But today, Sunday, as tried to turn off the shower, the hot water handle and cartridge blew off like a projectile, hit me and very hot water pushed to the other side of the shower stall as it gushed over the bathroom floor and on to wall-to-wall carpeting in the bedroom. Panicked that the ceilings downstairs were about to be compromised. I'm not a young person, have arthritic hands and I had no idea what to do. I put a 911 call into the fire department who came out quickly and turned off my hot water at the water heater, leaving me with just cold water with family about to arrive from out-of-state for the Christmas holidays. The men from the fire department were terrific and even helped slop up the flood waters. I called Jim at Quality Plumbing and asked him if he stood behind his work, describing what had just happened. Despite the fact that it was the first time I had turned on that faucet, Jim said he had no responsibility for the work as he had completed it six months ago and that he had told me the fix might not work. When I told him the faucet had never been used before this morning, he replied "he didn't know that", clearly suggesting I was not telling the truth. He had no concern for my problem(blaming it on the previous plumber) none for the frightening situation I had had been in nor offered any suggestions for some kind of quick fix such as capping the faucet so I could turn the hot water on again, just to get through the holidays. I'm always uncomfortable the tradesmen who blame problems on someone else. Clearly Quality Plumbing is not the one to call when you are experiencing a serious situation.
