Very reliable and good communication. Delivered chairs and tables exactly when they said.. called before.. picked up with no problems.

We hired ABCO for pipe and drape on the inside of a barn for a wedding. The sales guy came out more than once to look at the area and make a plan with his team (so I thought). We scheduled it for the Wednesday before the Saturday wedding to make sure we had plenty of time if hiccups occurred. On Wednesday morning the ABCO installers came out, got one small part halfway done (see pic) They said they had to go take care of other deliveries first but they would come back. It wasn't until 7:45 pm that I heard back. I made him aware that we didn't yet have electricity so he wouldn't be able to see unless he had lights to use with our generator. He told me he'd be back Thursday. Thursday morning I called the sales rep and he told me they had (again) other jobs to take care of first & that mine would just have to wait. -they were never shy to tell me allll of these other deliveries took precedence over mine. I was told the installer would be back that evening... we had a generator on site for him to use. Thursday night he text me that he wasn't coming. They assured me he would be there first thing Friday morning to get it done. Friday morning they showed up again and told me they had to be out of there by 10am to make other deliveries. At this point STILL only one part of the ceiling was up. (see same pic) I called the sales rep and very calmly told him I could no longer be put on the back burner... the wedding was the next day and I had been more than patient and cooperative with them. He then proceeded to YELL at me, the paying customer. He told me they had "bent over backwards" for me and he was irate that I used another company for my linen rentals (thank God we did) but I had in fact tried to rent other items through him at ABCO and he told me none of their lights worked properly- leading me to other options & vendors. By noon his guys had left the job site, job COMPLETELY UNFINISHED... still only one side of draping half-done. Let's just remember this is NOON the day before the wedding with rehearsal going on at 6pm that day. We then had to pull our own employees from my husbands office to try and piece something together and I made a call to every tent company in tulsa and finally found one that would come install Friday night. Thank the Lord for Ultimate Party Rentals!! The ABCO sales rep came by, saw the unfinished job, left and we never heard back from him again. Not once. Not even to apologize for their complete incompetence and distasteful attitudes. Saturday morning, I get a call from the ABCO driver saying they had a tent to deliver to us & I told them we had it taken care of (little late to the party). Then he tells me he is also there to PICK UP the draping that I had already paid for and rented through Monday. THE DAY OF THE WEDDING they tried to pull this. The draping that MY guys and another vendor I paid had to put up. I told the guy ABSOLUTELY not, that I had paid for that draping and it was mine until Monday & to tell his manager to please call me. I never heard from anyone from ABCO. Ever again. The ABSOLUTE worst experience, work ethic and customer service I've ever seen in a company. read more

Abco Rents - Our employee on the lift trying to fix it - Party Equipment Rentals Near Me - Tulsa, Oklahoma

We order a 40'x60' pole tent with side walls for $2,300 with an 85-mile delivery fee for 14 days (fireworks use). This year, we were quoted over $7,000 for the same tent with sidewalls and same location for 17 days. Yes, we added 3 days, but the quote shouldn't have been over $3,000. When I called to understand how our quote was tripled from the year before, they talked in circles on the phone. I asked if they had a copy of the quote I had last year. Reluctantly, they said yes. I walked through the quote with them line-by-line and they had no explanations. They said they would send a new quote back. Four days later I received a new quote that was $4,900. I called back again to try to understand how this is possible. It seemed unrealistic that in one year this industry had over doubled in pricing. They said we were misquoted the year before and that the $2,300 price was a 1-3 day quote for a tent. He said they has also stopped having so many extra fees and consolidated it all into one. When I walked through line-by-line again, there were more additional fees on this year's quote than last year's. I pointed out that every single expense was at least doubled in price, or more (for the tent, the sidewalls, the delivery fee, the damage fees) - everything was doubled in price from the year before. Our conversation ended with him saying if they reworked the quote again, it may could come down a little more, but it will still be nowhere near the $2,300 quote from the year before. I've used ABCO numerous times since a huge part of my job is event planning. From fashion shows to fancy dinners, you can find everything here. They have tents, tables, tablecloths, chairs, china, flatware, serving equipment, audio equipment, podiums, centerpieces, dance floors, you name it! All you could possibly use for all sorts of events (weddings, receptions, etc). They have a pretty good inventory list on their online catalog on their website so you can check their items and prices for daily/weekly rentals. There have been several times when I have needed to rent something at the last minute and they have been wonderful to work with. Their staff is super friendly and helpful. The girls at the front can guide you through their showroom and get you all ready for your event. I like their pick-up system too. You have to go to the back to get loaded up and when you're dropping it off you just go to the back as well. They always have guys helping you carry stuff which is super nice especially when there's pipe and drape involved. read more

If I could rate them a negative 100 I would. They nearly ruined my wedding day! The driver/delivery guys called to say they were on their way and the eta would be about 45 mins. Then he asks if I had seen the "change" in my invoice? I have no idea what he could be referencing as our invoice had been paid for months ago and NO ONE had called to say there was a problem. He then tells me that the King & Queen Chairs that we purchased were not available. I thought I was gonna have a heart attack. I called the office only to be put on hold twice. Oscar finally gets on the phone and is like I dont know what happened but we are working on it. How could he not know? We booked those chairs last fall! Once the order arrives the dock guys are begging me to call back because they had gotten into "trouble" for notifying me that they weren't gonna deliver my order as promised and what we paid for! Once they began setting up there were more problems! The wedding arch swayed every time the wind blew on the amphitheater! It looked like it would crash at any moment. They placed these huge clunky, scratched up grey weighted post holders on the legs of the arch to keep it from falling over! It looked hideous as the arch was brown. The canopy that we ordered to set the K&Q chairs inside had no arms and was left resting against the wall! Literally two sets of pipe and drape with nothing connecting them! And all of the outdoor ceremony chairs were filthy and dusty and were left in stacks outdoors on the amphitheater. It was horrible! On a day when I should've been happy & excited I was in disaster recovery mode! Their failures affected every aspect of our day; ceremony & reception. I broke down crying hysterically then I had a panic attack which gave me an asthma attack. This company has the worst customer service ever and NEVER offered anything to compensate for their awful service! I will never use ABCO for anything else! read more

I regrettably rented from abco for my wedding. The morning of the wedding we started pulling out the table clothes only to find that the sweetheart table and the cake table did not match like I had asked for them to. I rented these table clothes nearly 3 months in advance and paid a little over $300 for my order.. there was no reason I shouldn't have received exactly what I paid for. When calling to try and fix the problem (after my mother was left on hold for over 30 minutes and hung up on) we were told that from a distance no one should be able to tell that they are different and that they couldn't give me what I ordered... these table clothes were not even somewhat alike.. Not only did the patterns not match but one was ivory and the other was nearly yellow. Everyone who was helping set up for my wedding said that there was no way it wouldn't be noticeable. After fighting with them over the phone and in their store the morning of my wedding, I was given no solution and ended up having to settle for a completely different color table cloth then what I had paid for. I was also promised a full refund and now a month later, I still have not received it. Also every time we call to address the matter, we are avoided. I'm a pretty laid back person but this completely ruined the morning of what was supposed to be the best day of my life. While my wedding party was eating breakfast and enjoying the morning, I was on the phone with my dad who ended up having to drive back to Tulsa (my wedding was in Catoosa) to try to get answers in store. It was the most unpleasant experience and the worst customer service I have ever received. If you're a potential bride looking for rentals, I'd stay as far away from this place as possible. There are other places in Tulsa with similar prices and better reputations than this place. I understand that mistakes happen but as a business it is their job to make it right when they do. read more

We rented a popcorn machine and a cotton candy machine and neither of them are working. The cotton candy machine did not get hot. Therefore it is not making cotton candy. The popcorn popper was smoking and possibly overheating. Had to turn it off after eyes started burning. Tried to call the phone number several times, no voice recording or ability to leave a voicemail. Wanted to have items picked up right away, as they where not working and just took up space and are not useful. Very disappointing as this was my daughter's Birthday celebration and I don't have time to deal with. I will NEVER order anything from them again, and I plan to tell any and everyone of the poor service received. read more

only giving them one star because i have to. they told me they would deliver to my venue before noon. so i call them the day of around 9am to double check the time and they said they would be there around 2. okay, cool. so i get there around 2 and they still aren't there. so i call them and they said they wouldn't be there till 4:30. i get people run late but they didn't even let me know that they would be late. i was waiting because they said they needed a signature. so they drop everything off finally and now it's the day they are supposed to pick up and they told me they would be there between 2-3 well 3 runs around and i call then again and they said they wouldn't be there till 5. again they didn't call me and let me know, i had to call them. so i had to lift everything myself and leave it outside because i had been waiting for a couple hours and i was ready to leave. so if you want to be waiting for hours for these people, go right ahead. worst customer service ever. read more
