Fadi is the salesman that gives salespeople a bad reputation. He tells you what you want to hear until the minute he closes the sale. The unit took over a month to deliver. He charged for delivery that was over two hours late from their three hour delivery window & thereafter refused to refund it after the delivery was three hours late AND the old unit/garbage was left in my lawn. He then tells you it's your problem to clean up the debris, huge boxes and old unit to dispose of AFTER he promised it was part of the delivery fee. The unit started making loud noises after a few hours and he told me it wasn't his problem anymore and call the manufacturer if I have any issues. He also promised money for the old unit that was never collected - I'm yet to see that money. He refuses to answer calls, but will send you texts that are threatening and inappropriate on your personal cell. If you're looking to spend a lot of money on a high-end appliance with the absolute worst aftercare, AbC Warehouse in Southfield is your place & make sure to ask for Fadi if you want to be ripped off. read more

Very Rude and Unprofessional. Visited this facility pertaining a Warranty Replacement for a Dishwasher. The Manager was to email the Warranty Company which by the way is ABC Warranty. Not my problem they are different entities!! If you are taking direction from the warranty group own the issue until resolved. The Warranty replacement was not comparable. And upon visiting the Store a Customer Service is not a priority. The store was empty and they wonder why. Willing to take my warranty monies at a loss to Never Ever have to do Business with this ABC Warehouse Store Location....They Deserve Negative 1000 Stars!!!! Each time I need service I have reached out to Norm. This time I needed an appliance replacement and a new Warrenty. I Had THEE Worst experience with ABC Warehouse. Do not buy ANYTHING from this company!! My wife and I have spent thousands of dollars at ABC Warehouse over the years. Fadi, our salesman, sold us a bedroom set. I personally fell in love with the mattress, so much so that I feel asleep in the showroom. My wife loved the bedroom set. We were sold on this and we looked forward to our brand new bed. We've had the same bed/mattress for over 26 years. We just moved into our new home so as you can see, we were excited about our new bed. We both work during the day so we asked our son to Let them movers in. When we got home, there were wood shavings on the floor, the handles on the dressers were in a bag on the dresser, Screws were missing, The holes in the head board were stripped and the frame wasn't even connected to the head board. We called our Salesman and he said that he was coming over our house to see what the moving company did. He also told me to take pictures. He never came to see what the movers did. Myself and my wife called ABC Warehouse, the loan company that we purchased the bedroom set through (offered by ABC Warehouse), the moving company several times and haven't gotten anywhere. Also, I forgot to mention, they did not put our bed in the right spot in our bedroom. We moved the headboard and it detached from the bed. I finally called and talked to Fadi to discuss my displeasure and he started blaming the moving company and us for breaking the bed!!! He assured me that he would get to the bottom of this but never did. There were different people who came from the moving company to fix the bed.. And they agreed that the previous movers left everything in shambles. After going back and forth and being blamed for breaking the bed, my wife and I decided to by some brackets, drills some holes, and fix the bed ourselves. All we wanted Fadi and ABC to do was acknowledge that they screwed up and fix the bed. Don't blame us and the people that you are working! Just fix the problem. Again.. I've had a long standing relationship with ABC. Even referred people to buy furniture from there. I will never do business with this company ever again. He threw us and the movers under the bus and still didn't fix the problem. In the long run, we lose. We still have to pay for this bed and he still gets commission for the sale. We weren't offered any incentives or any type of commendations for the entire month that we had to sleep on the couch. I'm telling everyone I know... Incrediablly bad store experience. Was looking for a stove and approached by a salesmaan named Carlos. When asked if the product was available for sale, he stated he checked and it was. We then completed the terms of thge purchase and asked when it could be delivered. He stated that delivery would take place in six days. We waited; and on the day of delivery, nothing arrived. I figured it was a delay backlog and contacted the store. Thats when I found out that in fact, the stove we ordered was not in stock & had not been in stock for some time. No one ever called to notify us, or for any other reason. It became clear that Carloes had just lied, in his over egsrness to merely make a sale. I'm now gun-shy of trusting anyone from ABC Warehouse. Although I've seen other items, I'm no longer confident that they are being truthful. I'm now shopping at other big box stores. read more

On July 27, 2021 me and my woman went here so I could purchase her a washer and dryer we were helped by one of the store managers by the name of Sadek Sbeity. To make a long story short he lied to me about their 90 payment option program and ends up getting me for $30 cash! And corporate is giving me the runaround about replaying the video of the transaction telling me to make a police report and Southfield Police said the amount is not enough for them to investigate. Now I don't wanna end up paying $5,000 in lawyer and court fees for $30! But, I went from purchasing appliances for my lady to feeling like a date rape victim of the starting QB for the local high school. #1 mistake: do not arrange your kitchen display so close to the restrooms, it's enough to make customers never want to cook, let alone buy cooking supplies/utensils ever again. That being said, I was surprised to have purchased 2, 6-piece cutlery sets for under $15. Surely I will have to heavily sanitize them, but a bargain is a bargain. If you don't mind spending a bit more money but are still on the hunt for a bargain, stick with stores like Bed Bath and Beyond and Target where things are clean and organized. read more

Delivery nightmare so Penske driver showed up on behalf of abc with my fridge. He came in and said clear the top of my fridge which was literally a little bit of stuff and slide some stuff out the way. He left as if he was going to get the fridge then blocked my number so i could not call back. I called from my sons and boyfriends phone and it went through but he put me straight to voicemail every time my number called the other numbers had no problem he just did not answer. He took off with my fridge not telling me he was leaving or taking it back. Just before the holiday my fridge went out I lost $700 dollars worth of food and Thats cash not ebt. Nothing against those who receive point I'm making is i was devastated already behind all this. Now i may have to wait longer for my fridge because the driver took off without saying anything. Penske did really bad with delivering my dang washer and dryer. They are the worst delivery subcontractors EVER. And the people they have working for them are dismissive. My neighbor saw everything and said she had the same nightmare experience. This is the worst customer service ever for a driver to take off and go out to the truck, block your number, and leave. The Southfield location has a low rating for a reason, and that is without the pandemic. It only gets worse... Today is the 20th, I ordered my appliances on the 11th. Told they'd be delivered on the 13th, no show so I called and told I'd have them on the 14th but the stove was damaged, they arrived, didn't want to remove the screen to deliver the fridge, okay I get it...insurance. Told they'd be here on 17th, nope. I Called and told they'd arrive on the 19th, nope. I Called and was told the 20th, got a call from the delivery peeps said they have the stove, not the fridge, called the store, my sales person was off...the 2 peeps and sales person I did talked to...rude and simply wanting to cite the pandemic obviously unaware that this site has a low rating prior to that...and apparently part of the problem....ugh. But it doesn't end there. The stove I ordered was electric and the stove set for delivery was gas...grief y'all, is that the pandemic too? At any rate, my new date is 22nd. This was by far the worst experience. I work for a business in Birmingham, as well as Southfield. We needed two dishwashers as well as a fridge for our kitchens. Upon the first delivery here in Birmingham, It seems they has sent the wrong one..accidents happen. He promised to get someone out the next day. The dishwasher sat here for a week, until the second came. In our Southfield location they also sent the wrong one, it sat until another came that was wrong. They explained "Somone was off by one item number when the sales person ordered it. sorry" Norman promised to get it picked up a few days later on a Friday. It sat until Tuesday when I called asking him why no one showed up? He said give us another chance to make it better, I will get someone out today! It is now 8 days later on a Wednesday that someone showed up and OH ITS THE WRONG SIZE. I'm done with ABC. They are careless and unprofessional. Unacceptable is the only word to describe my experience so far. I purchased car starter yesterday and was informed that installer does not work on sundays. I arrive today before the store opens at 10 am and informed it will take between 3 to 5 hours (wow). Now at 3pm im being told its going to be another 3 hours. WHAT IF I CAME DURING BUSINESS HOURS. There were 3 people standing outside with me waiting for the doors to be opened who i assumed were employees. No sense of urgency combined with lack of compassion spells bleak. The worst ABC store in the area. I live less than 2 miles from there and will never shop there again. As a regular customer who is financially saavy, I have made purchases and after further research found the items for less elsewhere including online stores. My last trip took the cake. I went in with a return to the small appliance department and was told that ALL FUTURE SALES WERE FINAL. She further said that I return more than I buy. EACH AND EVERY return when cash had a receipt. There were a couple of occasions when purchase on a card that I made not have had the receipt, but the items and purchase could be confirmed in their computer system. I can't believe that both of the ladies that were there implied by this statement that I was a thief. I have ALWAYS had problems with these 2 women. I have NEVER had a problem with any of the male sales people. I am a woman and this behavior and attitude shocked me. BUYER BEWARE THAT ALL ABC PURCHASES MADE WITH CASH REQUIRE 1 OF 2 THINGS WHEN RETURNED. 1ST DON'T GO EARLY IN THE DAY AS THEY WILL NOT DUE A CASH RETURN AS THEY CLAIM THEY DON'T HAVE CASH. 2ND PATIENCE BECAUSE THE TIME FOR THE APPROVALS REQUIRED IS CRAZY.
