I have dealt with this company before and, over the years, the experience has become increasingly…read morenegative. They have a great display room and a large variety of fixtures and sinks. However, try getting the staff to notice you. It is by appointment ONLY and no one will even tell you this if you are a first time buyer - you might as well be one of the fixtures for all of the attention you will get. That said, once you get an appointment, the sales personnel are very knowledgeable and helpful - until you walk out the door. We had a bathroom remodel and their subcontractor broke the mirror over the sink. Upon calling, they insisted we go through our plumbing contractor (who had nothing to do with this guy). They pass the buck on everything. The subcontractor installed a new counter top and there was fine dust embedded in all of the cabinetry which I still can't get out completely. Our plumber was baffled as to why it would be his problem. Famous has done well and they have become quite arrogant in dealing with customers. I will shop elsewhere next time.

We lost our safety magnet for the treadmill and we were in and out in a few minutes with a smile and a perfect substitute. Sean was contracted to replace all the carpet in one of our rentals. He sent his vendor out and they did all the rooms besides a back room. We missed it on the proposal because we're out of state and didn't realize it was overlooked. My house cleaner caught the room wasn't carpeted and called it out. At that time I announced it to Sean and hounded him weekly for well over a month to complete the small room. Mind you I cannot rent this place out unless the job is done so I'm losing out on rental income. You can see from the text thread that he gave us the run around to the point we had to fire him and tell him we're moving forward with another company. He offered to call and I agreed. Unfortunately no call. When he followed up I reiterated that we were done with his company. Today, August 15th, he announces he needs to be paid for the back room as it's finally finished. This guy was fired! He's also a liar as you can tell from the text exchange and now he's threatening to put a lien on the home. He was fired and let himself into my home weeks after and is now demanding money AFTER he was fired. A contractor can not return to a property after being fired and then demand payment for work they were not authorized to do. You've been warned. Don't use this guy. He's terrible.

Sean clearly took full advantage when finding out my father had passed away and immediately started overcharging for work that I found was never attempted. I think this is sick work. As well as extensive works paid for not delivered, we also were horrified to find out the trash removal we paid for was simply thrown onto the lawn of the property where it was left for months. As an out of state investor, i only found out when I saw this report on Cleveland 19 News after the "illegal dumping" had been left for months causing neighbour complains and reports to the city.
