I have never been to a talk show before and had the pleasure of attending the Tamron Hall show. We were provided lockers for our coats and we were allowed to bring in cameras to take pictures/ video. The hype woman was very cool. She recognized the group I was with BLACK WOMEN DO BIKES and Tamron did a special segment with them. We were directed as to what to do in the studio. Tamron was warm and personable. She took our picture. It was an event to remember.

While on vacation in NYC, we included a trip to ABC Studios for a live recording of The View back in September. You line up outside of the building so make sure to dress appropriately for the season. Their welcome team did a fantastic job herding us through various checkpoints to the soundstage. One thing I'll point out is this definitely felt like a working studio. The route we took in the building to get to The View was far from scenic. It isn't a curated experience like NBC, but it almost makes you feel like part of the crew. Lol We were allowed to take photos on set for 20-30 minutes prior to the beginning of the show, which we were not allowed to do at NBC for The Amber Ruffin Show. They did a great job interacting with the audience prior to going live giving people from each section a chance to shine and get some love from fellow audience members and the hosts. All around fun experience!

    Live with Kelly and Ryan!

Book any tickets to see shows online. I went for the Kelly and Ryan show and it was pretty neat! However, since we didn't line up at 6:30am or earlier, we had top seating. it was still ok, but not as close and personal as lower level seats. I also don't like how they do the lines where you must get someone to hold your spot if you use the restroom. I've been to another studio where you get a ticket # and that will allow you to line up as you want. So much easier and organized that having this strange line where you cannot stray from without a partner. The studio waiting room is super tiny so they only let a few in at a time to peruse the gift shop CART. Yes, it's a small cart with some cups and shirts and paraphernalia for Kelly and Ryan. Sounds exciting, but you have to leave the line, go in, and then go back out to the line. Because, they don't sell items any other time except before the show. They have a gentleman belting all this to you about 45 minutes before the show, so listen carefully or risk losing your shopping chance.

The Chew Clinton - Maggi - Carla - Michael

The Chew has been one of my favorite shows on ABC. I have probably seen every show since the first season when they started with Mario Batali, Daphne Oz, Michael Symon, Carla Hall and Clinton Kelly. I have learned so much from watching the chefs cook. They have a way of making it seem so easy. I genuinely feel that Michael, Carla and Clinton present such a united team that is having a really good time doing this show. So, when I knew we would be coming to New York, I requested tickets. You simply go online at their website and request the tickets for the day you want to attend the taping. We had tickets for Thursday, January 15. We were told to arrive at 7:00 AM. Fortunately, the weather was nice as we had to wait outside for quite some time. They took 8 people in at a time to go through security. The first group was the VIP group; we were in the next group called Priority. After showing our reservation and photo ID, we were ushered into a waiting room. My suggestion is go all the way to the other end and wait. There were cardboard cutouts of the stars if you wanted to take a picture with them. We waited for a long time before we were ushered into the studio. There, a staff member told us where to sit. I would strongly suggest that you dress nicely and wear colors that will be easy to see on TV. My husband wore a lime green sweater, and I had on a purple sweater and scarf. They ask that you not wear any patterns, clothing with logos, any black or white and that you stick to solid colors. We were seated in the first row. R. C. Smith is the "Humor Engineer" (warm-up comedian) who explained how everything was to work during the filming. He was a great comic; full of energy and life. He had us all going. We were able to meet and talk with Michael, Carla and Clinton just by where we were seated. The taping took a little over an hour with breaks, etc. It was truly a fun experience and we highly recommend it.

My husband and I attended a taping of The View with reserved tickets. Looks like day-of tickets might be available, but the line was significant. We were treated to a juice while we waited in a cafeteria-style area with a Starbuck's. Logistics are streamlined, and a warm-up comedian kept us in stitches. Important tip: photos are allowed at commercial breaks ONLY if you have a camera. NO cell usage is allowed during the show, including during commercial breaks.

Attended the last show of the season of The View. Everyone was really nice and friendly. We arrived about 2 hours before the show began and sat in an open room with a Starbucks attached. That was a very nice touch, especially since we hadn't eaten breakfast that morning. There were also free juice provided to us. Shortly after arrival we were shown the way to the restrooms, that took a little while. But once again everyone was super polite. We were later ushered to our seats in the studio, which went really quickly surprisingly so as there was a bit of a walk. We were sorry Whoopi wasn't there but the show was great! It was a great experience!

Friend got me tickets to see Whoopi Goldberg's show. Staff was friendly and show gave away a few things to the audience. There's a Starbucks in the area the audience waited which was nice.

I attended a live taping of The View back in September, having obtained tickets through 1iota. The process was super easy online and I was able to print my tickets and get priority access to the entrance line. We arrived in the time window, between 8:30 and 9:30 AM for the 11:00 AM taping. The line moved quickly and I do strongly urge you to arrive as early as you can. Even with priority access and arriving in the correct time window, we saw people with tickets turned away for arriving after us. Once you get inside, they offer you a drink and snack and allow you to purchase souvenirs. You sit with others inside a cafeteria area until they are ready to seat the studio. You are called in groups to be seated in the studio, which has no indication of where you will be seated. Once you get to the studio, they seat you based on your outfit and it seems as though they try to make the crowd super diverse and keep the more energetic folks up front. If you want to be on camera, be sure to drink your coffee that morning. Once you are seated, the crew explains the process for the day and the various cues the crowd will get (i.e. clap, cheer, ooh, ahh, laughing, dancing, etc.). When the cast comes out, you are able to enjoy the live taping. On commercial breaks, you are allowed a Q&A with the cast from your seat. They also allow a Q&A with the guests, in my case Viola Davis and Larry David. Once the taping is complete, you leave the studio in small groups and exit the building. If you purchased souvenirs, they allow you to pick them up. Since this is a free event that allows you to get up close and personal with some celebs, I highly recommend the experience. I will certainly be going back for another taping!

I love the Tamron Hall taping the most out of any of the other tapings. Her company is so well organized. They were a little delayed and let us in 15 min late. During check in you just gave them your name and they will give you a card with a color on it. I don't know what the color means. They escorted to restrooms and a holding room with free snacks and water. There were TVs all around playing ABC channel 7. A man walked around asking if anyone wanted to speak about certain topics and gave out purple dots to those who did. When it was time to go in they called all dots and then called us by color. We got great seats and were on TV most of the time. She was also in the audience most of the time. The hype guy gave out swag to those who were the loudest between segments, which I found cute. During the show there was a give away, which they handed out as we left. The stage was barely used during the show. They mostly had her in the audience which is very different compared to the other tapings. There were not allowed to be any phones out at any point once inside the studio. They had us take pictures with her by section which I thought was very smart. All in all it was a great experience which I hope to get to do again soon.

Our company, etouches, came to them with a vision for our new company videos and the team at Evolve helped us bring them to life. I had reached out to numerous production companies, and within 15 minutes, our producer, Daniel Lafrentz, responded quickly and diligently, wanting to learn more about our project. Upon doing my research on their website (which had a great library of their work) and interacting further with Daniel, we realized Evolve was the right production company fit for our project. Once we agreed to work together, Daniel, our producer/director Tommy Maples, and our additional producer, Shiva Kumar, joined us on weekly calls helping to us to formulate what began as an initial concept, into a well-written script and great visuals. When it came time to shoot the video, Tommy flew from their home base in San Francisco, to join Shiva at their New York Studio. Before the shoot, they agreed to meet with us at our Norwalk, CT headquarters and discuss the various details that needed to be smoothed out the day before the shoot. While they had a million other things on their schedule that day, it meant a lot to our company that they were willing to take the train from New York to better understand our company culture make sure we covered all of our bases the day before the shoot. On the day of the shoot, we watched Tommy and Shiva work their magic in the New York studio, bringing what started as a storyboard to life, coaching our actor to execute what we needed...and did so successfully. They were patient and very accommodating to all of our suggestions and needs on the day of the shoot. Fast forward to now, and we've received the final project and couldn't be happier. Evolve Media understood our need for a simple, clear and powerful video. They are professional, innovative, and creative, and were extremely accommodating with our rounds of edits. We strive to work with people and companies who have the same values as ours - to care, grow and play - and we found that in Evolve. The final products are even better than we could have imagined.

I'm so thankful we chose Gabriel. His prices are beyond reasonable, he has a unique talent of getting people to relax so that he can capture the perfect image for whatever purpose, he is prompt, communicative and makes the subject feel like they are all that matters. We had the joy of taking photos at the Met and in Times Square. Gabriel was patient with us and the end results are amazing. He returns first-looks and the final photos within 2-3 days -- unheard of with other professional photographers. He polishes the final photos, but doesn't go too far.
