Highly recommend Nikolai! He was thorough and friendly. He checked everything in the house to identify the root cause and checked if there were any other issues, and also answered all of my questions. I had a Rinnai, that literally from day one threw a error code 10, the kicker is it's a catch all error code, even Rinnai couldn't figure it out, fast forward 5 years, it got worse but still intermittent. I called a 'authorized Rinnai' service JMC, they came out re-routed the exhaust, I paid $$$ and off they went...nope that wasn't it. JCM came out again, took out the fan cleaned it and the Venturi, I paid more $$$. Error code came back. Apparently the JCM didn't believe that their 'warrenty' was in play but were more than happy to give me an insane quote on a new unit. Gave ABC Service a call. Sergui came out, popped it open and pronounce that it's a feature, the fan isn't working smoothly and the logic board is picking up an error, a common 'feature'. Crazy pricing to replace the fan and logic board. Any handy person can replace the fan Had them (ABC) give me a quote for a new Navian 180 with internal recirculating pump. Ok, 1/3 the price of the high end of JMC quote and significantly less than their low end. Deal do it. Sergui came out, installed the new unit did some beautiful plumbing with my existing system and off they went. I wasn't thrilled with a few things so after a bit of discussion, they came out last Saturday (Mar 21, 2025), spent 3 hours and all is perfect now. I can say that the Navian is QUIET, you can't even tell it's running. We absolutely love the internal recirculating pump, we get fast hot water to a part of the house, after we installed a balance valve, that had never had fast hot water, the rest of the house has a recirculating line. Oh as a bonus feature the Navien has no cold bump some tankless units have. read more

Arranged for my AC service and Max came out to Palo Alto promptly fixed it by changing a new capacitor. Two thumbs up!

Very quick response, and thorough explanation for my AC. Ended up proposing adding Freon for me, price is fair and we did that on same day. My AC works perfectly after the added Freon read more

Great job to find the leaking and the fix. They also charge reasonably. The other thing is they drive very stylish Hybryd car, not a heavy truck :) read more

Company responded quickly, provided the pricing up front, and came when promised. Service person was competent and quickly determined the issue was my thermostat. Slightly disappointed that he couldn't do a safety inspection of my furnace while there, specifically to test for carbon monoxide. I asked if there was any preventative maintenance that we should do and he said no, he could only fix broken things. read more

Service is very good. They responded quickly as well as solve the issue promptly. They are very consumer focused and helped us to fix the issue in two days. read more

AC was failing, called ABC based on strong Yelp reviews. I've honestly had worse luck with HVAC service providers than any other type of contractor, so I was worried. Response from Alex, the company owner, was quick, appointment scheduled immediately. Needed replacement part was unfortunately not readily available from supplier (certainly no fault of Alex's- but his communication on the small hiccup was great) but ABC got it as quickly as possible and repair was done almost immediately upon receipt. Fair price, good service, great response time- Would hire again! read more

One of our two A/C zones went out during the recent 100F + heatwave. While most HVAC repair shops were completely underwater, ABC answered the phone quickly and politely. We set an appointment for the next evening. They arrived on time, and we were back up and running in under an hour. Ray quickly found our problem, got our unit running again with a fresh fuse, and talked me through the overall condition of our - somewhat aging - system. He explained that the aging compressor is the most likely reason the unit is having difficulty, and pointed out the upgraded capacitor that was already installed. He answered all my questions and also took a quick look at the second unit to see if it was in a similar condition (and I was only charged the diagnostic fee for the first unit). We talked through several options: from leaving the setup as is, which would easily be the cheapest option, but we should expect the problem to come back at some point, to revising the unit with a new compressor (and possibly fan), to replacing larger parts of our system. He clearly knows what he's talking about, and I came away understanding exactly what I need to research next to make a decision on what to do. Our house is cool again, everything was painless, and service was quick and at a reasonable price. Highly recommended! read more

Sergio or maybe Sergei was fantastic. Quick and knowledgeable got the furnace working and quickly. Reasonably priced too! I will not hesitate to call them again! Thank you! read more

Heater stopped working and it was freezing so needed immediate service. Selected ABC based on their Yelp rating and also reached out to several others. ABC was the quickest to respond and had availability within a couple hours so booked it. Ross came out, diagnosed the problem, was able to find a hard-to-get part locally the same day and returned to install it. We are all nice and toasty again. Thanks! read more

Completely unreliable: they rescheduled the first appointment, then didn't show up on the second one.

I have a wall heater in which the pilot light would not light. ABC answered promptly and they were able to send a technician the same day. He was prompt, friendly and helpful. They had the needed part on hand and were able to fix it same day. Great service. read more

I was really impressed that the ABC technicians were willing to come out late at night (almost at 11 PM) to fix my AC problem on a hot summer day. Bravo! Once on site, the team quickly diagnosed a blown capacitor and replaced it. The service fee was fair as well. read more

Alex and his team are some of the most sincere and honest people I have met in my career as a facilities director. Ray S. Is the King Technician, he is superb. Our AC broke with a smart AC device from PG&E in the middle which made the case very complicated. Ray came to my home as his last appointment, worked smartly and dig to the problem sharply. I am really appreciated with his problems solving and explained to us clearly what the problem is. He left almost at 10:00 pm, very responsible. Recommend strongly for his service! Now, I need to call PGE tomorrow! read more

These guys are the best - I will hire them every time. We had an issue with our AC unit. Another company who first came said it was a wiring problem and wanted to open up our walls to fix it. We got a 2nd opinion with ABC Service and they immediately knew it was the compressor, changed the part and fixed the issue!! Very responsive and came out same day and very professional. We've used them twice now for different units and are very happy we found them! read more

Wonderful service! HVAC stopped working on a weekend. My phone call was answered immediately and a service time set up for Sunday between 1:00 -3:00. I got an email confirmation and then a text when the technician was on his way. He was here by 1:10, was able to diagnose the issue and had the part needed in his vehicle. He was professional, respectfully took of his shoes each time he had to go out to the unit, back to the thermostat, out to his vehicle. Truly one of the best service experiences I can recall. I highly recommend and will use them for all future service read more

I highly recommend this company and Kudos to technician Vagan who fixed my oven professionally. Response timing from the company is quick, feedback is detailed.
