I ordered and prepaid for a piñata for my son's birthday, but when I went to pick it up, the owner accused me, in front of my son, of trying to pick it up twice. When I explained that no one had picked it up on my behalf and produced the receipt I was given to pick it up, he then tried to accuse me of having taken it without giving them the receipt. My son was so disappointed because the only thing he asked for was a T-Rex piñata and to top it off. I had only been in one other occasion and the owner was speaking really awfully to an employee. I should've trusted my instincts to not go again, but truly, lesson learned. read more

Best Spot in Oak Cliff for piñatas, Mexican candy, and decorations! They even have a fruit/vegetable stand in front of the store! Great customer service! Very friendly. I would give this store 10 stars if I could. My granddaughter loved her unicorn piñata and my grandson loved his Mario Brother piñata. They tell you they are going to have your balloons ready for your event. You go and pick up the balloons and the store is not open! No one answers the phone! When I went back to the store to get my refund, they didn't even care about what they did and who's party they inconvenienced from their lack of professionalism! The girl who was working behind the counter was not very friendly. I work in customer service so I feel it's very important to respond to your customers in a business manner. We noticed they had styrofoam frames on the wall with decorative letters. They were very cute. We asked how much it they cost to have one made. She gave us the the quote. When then wanted to know if the sold the styrofoam frame by itself. She responded with there aren't any on the aisle as she was still standing behind the counter. We were just on that aisle looking at all the other styrofoam items and didn't see them which is why we asked. So we looked again and found them behind a giant pig piñata. The last interaction we had with her was about the return exchange policy. I was just curious. She pointed to the side of the register where the sign was and read what it was. I couldn't see it due to the fact I was standing in front of the register. I then asked her if it was on the receipt. She then said no because it was posted next to the register. I responded with this isn't the only store we shop at so I'm not gonna remember that. It was her tone and facial expression that was no necessary. What I will remember is the interaction I had at with her. Thankfully I found another location to find the rest of our party supplies and I will not be returning to this store. I am not saying don't shop at this location. All I'm saying is find another person to talk to when you go. If not you may find yourself walking out due to her unprofessional manners. read more

I'm sorry to say I wasn't so thrilled about this place like other reviewers. They didn't have anything for an anniversary party. Except some wedding looking like balloons. I couldn't make anything work at the store with the theme I was aiming for so I just bought some clear plastic plates and a round table cover that I'm sure I could've gotten at the dollar store for less. The man at the front wasn't really interested in helping me either or offering much in suggestions. Don't think I'll be coming back. Shame would've liked to give this local neighborhood business my business versus a big store chain but oh well. read more

We moved to the neighborhood about a year ago and just LOVE ABC Party. They have at least 1 million pinatas (even Trump) and so many party supplies. I do not have kids, but they have a wide array of kids themed birthday items. I have bought 2 pinatas there and have been very pleased. The staff is very nice and helpful. They also will fill your own balloons for a few dollars. I had them fill a giant heart shaped balloon and it worked great. read more
