I called Midwest Locksmith and the dispatcher stated a tech would be out in 25-30 minutes. Ben pulls in within 30 minutes and reassures me he can fix our truck. I leave him to it and get a call 20 minutes later stating he is all done and the truck is fixed. Ben walked me through the reason we were having the issue and what he did to fix it, along with taking pictures throughout the process. It only cost us a little over $300 dollars and genuinely saved us much more. This is a great company and will be the first people I call if I ever need a locksmith again.

My car key fob had the unlock button fall off from years of wear and I needed it replaced. The…read morelocksmith was recommended to me by my brother since he had the same problem and got it fixed with this business. The locksmith came out and had everything done within 30 or so minutes - so he was very efficient and knew what to do. The main issue is that this service cost me $300 after tax, while it only cost my brother $150 after tax for the exact same service of fob replacement and reprogramming the key to work with the car. My brother had his fob fixed only about a month prior to this so I cannot understand how there would be a 100% price increase within a month timeframe. In conclusion - the locksmith knows his stuff and will get the job done, but will change prices how he sees fit and not tell you this until after the service was complete. I was expecting to only pay the appx. $150 tab, same as my brother, but was then basically forced to pay double because the service had been completed and the locksmith was at my house to do the work with the car key fob. This is very unprofessional and predatory for a business to do after the fact, as I would not have called them if I knew about the insane price hike.
