They carry a good selection of alcohol, in many cases, even offering several brands for more common items like vodka, whiskey, and bourbon. They don't sell any beer at the ABC store, and I don't frequent them though to be able to say if any do. But they cart the hard stuff, some mixers and a very small selection of snacks.

We politely declined to buy them, paid for our stuff and left. Tonight we go again and he AGAIN tried to push us to buy nasty drink mixers, we politely declined AGAIN (same guy) and when it was time to pay for our 4 bottles of different liquors (don't judge) he said he couldn't sell to us because we had a TEXAS ID....REALLY?? REALLY??? WTF is that about? So if our ID is issued in Texas, somehow we can't buy liquor? That's weird, because he did last week, and every bar in town has had no problem with our Texas IDs. Funny rule for a liquor store in a town where 35,000 [eople come from all over the world for the furniture market. Also, my biggest problem was the mean and almost insulting way he said it. He was just a huge jerk. I would understand if that actually was the law and he explained it nicely, but it's like he got satisfaction telling us no. I seriously don't know what his problem is, but we are both pretty angry and we will just drive a few extra miles to avoid that total douche bag. It was also, and still may be, one of the popular gas stations and convenience stores for High Point Central High School students. I know it was during the time I was a student there. I'd regularly see my classmates at Smitty's or go there with them. In high school, I used to go to Smitty's to fill up my parents' cars and use their credit cards to pay for gas. I always wondered if the cashiers inside would question me about using credit cards that weren't mine, but they never did. This was back in the days when pumps didn't have credit card readers on them. Also, IIRC, this was a Union 76 gas station then (late 90s), but the convenience store was still Smitty's. Today and for years now, the gas station is an "E Stop" (eSTOP) which I've never seen anywhere else. This is a small station with eight pumps. Despite the bigger-name gas stations and convenience stores that have come and gone on the catty-corner properties (e.g. BP, Sheetz) Smitty's has persevered.

Myself and 2 colleagues were on our way to an evening event at a hotel in downtown Greensboro. I was not familiar with the location of the hotel and took a wrong turn down a dead end street so I pulled into the Zeto parking lot to turn around , confirm the hotel address and reset my GPS. It was closing time for Zeto so the owner was locking up the door at the same time. She sees me pull in and starts gesturing wildly to get out of her parking lot, then (before I can even put my car into drive) she jumps in her car and drives straight at my car while flashing her lights and boxing me in. I had to back up and drive around her car (which I immediately did) while she continued to wave her hands and point at the exit. Completely rude and uncalled for as we'd literally been in the parking lot for less than 2 minutes as I reset the GPS address and had no intention of parking there. I do understand that her parking lot is surrounded by apartments and she may have had a problem with people parking there in the past but this was very bizarre behavior for a business owner that should care about the community and act professionally. The unfortunate part is all 3 of us in the car were regular, frequent customers and enjoyed her store. After her over-the-top rudeness, we all agreed we'd never step foot in Zeto again. She lost 3 customers due to her behavior! We won't support businesses that treat others so poorly. I hope she will, in the future, take a breath and assess the situation before acting so inappropriately toward people.
