When I have something done, I like to have it in writing, via email, and I like a specific detail of what will be performed with the cost. I'm not a fan of phone tag or just verbal communication for conversations that don't really even need to take place. Boy, did this place deliver. They provide the details of what they recommend in an online worksheet, and you can pick and choose what you want. There are no unnecessary phone calls or confusion. You can pay online, and they send you notification before they come out. Great (simple) communication, good price, and prompt work. We were a customer with Jacobsen Lawn Care for 14 years. He merged with ABC Lawnworks and we were a customer of then for the remainder of last year. This year we received an email that we were being dumped as a customer because we were on the wrong side of Rt 47. Obviously if they can't treat a 14 year returning customer properly imagine what they would do to you if there was ever a customer service issue. They acquired the customers in a merger and don't even care. If we had been given a heads up at the end of last year it would have shown that they at least cared about customers. An email with no advance notice is not an acceptable way to do business. read more

I used to use Jacobsen Lawn Service. Inexplicably this summer it was suddenly switched to ABC. I received an email with a Youtube video stating my service would not change and more information would come later. No more information ever came. Service was not the same. I tried to communicate with customer service via email and they ignored me. I'll go back to mowing my own lawn. I don't know what happened to Jacobsen, but I loved them, and wish they would come back. read more

We had ABC LawnWorks for the 2019 and most of 2020 season. Things were fine in 2019, but in 2020, the service quality took a sharp decline. Entire patches of grass were regularly being missed where no objects were, trimming was often missed, but worst of all our brand-new fence was damaged by them. When my husband brought these issues to their attention, they responded by immediately terminating the business relationship rather than standing behind their work and committing to improving going forward. Despite their website's claim of being the "HOME OF THE 100% NO QUESTIONS ASKED - LOVE IT OR YOUR MONEY BACK GUARANTEE," they wouldn't fix those missed spots next time and wouldn't have our business if we weren't satisfied. Nobody was even asking for a refund, but they certainly didn't offer that either despite their "guarantee." Regarding the fence, they have made zero attempt at restitution, a claim the owner can't deny.  Without EVER coming to inspect the damage, they automatically denied responsibility.  The owner claims that it is "impossible" for his equipment to do that, but yet he never took the time to find out what has actually occurred. He has never concerned himself with finding the facts, he only continues to run from responsibility. You work too hard for your money to get this bad of service, and to then have your property damaged without offer of restitution.  There are plenty of other choices, I wouldn't recommend ABC LawnWorks to anyone. read more

I'm sure they will reply to this review with some sort of justification but facts cannot be ignored. There was a lot of miscommunication happening but even what they were supposed to complete they didn't deliver. When confronted about it they didn't acknowledge the fact that the job done wasn't effective. And they didn't want to rectify it by refunding either. Terrible people and a terrible company. Do not waste your money here. Many other companies stand by their work and if not done properly would attempt to rectify it free of charge. The greed and carelessness displayed by this company is atrocious. As they will try to save face by replying to this and trying to undermind or discredit my expirience, move forward with them at your own risk. read more

We have been with ABC Lawnworks for YEARS and have never had a bad experience. John has gone over and above when I've contacted him with questions about my lawn. The few times (and I mean less than a handful over probably about 6-8 years) I noticed something that needed adjusting, either the crew came back the same day or it was taken care of on the visit next week. I've had lawn mowing, the crew has laid mulch for me and I've even had snow removal the past couple years. It's SO affordable too. I always figured lawn service was way too expensive. It's not! Plus the crew can do our whole yard, way better than we could do it ourselves, in about 15 minutes, that's not an exaggeration. It would take us 2 hours. Plus we don't have to store a lawn mower, weed whacker, etc. Auto billing makes it so we don't even have to think about it. So disappointed with the service I was provided with a 50.00 upcharge. This was my first time using a lawn service and am not sure if I will again. My backyard looks like I took scissors to it. Understandably this was the first cut of the season but the results were absolutely horrible. The lady I spoke to was very nice so customer service was excellent.
