It is actually astonishing. That's a side note. The real news here is the professionalism of Timberline Landscaping and their quick, complete response and quote. From initially contacting Steve and his team, they immediately wrote me back, were able to provide a price quote via email with pictures we sent and then came out for an on-site visit to confirm everything and make sure that we were 100% clear on expectations, timing and the suggestions that they made for our backyard. The workmanship was done exactly as agreed to and in a professional way. They left our backyard looking exactly as we'd hoped and cleaned up and left our home and surroundings in great condition. As another reviewer alluded to, small things come up. Changes, clarifications, to a job when you're in the middle of it. Steve and his team were quick to react, communicated very well, and never asked for more money. We couldn't be happier with our decision to work with Timberline. There are tons of landscaping companies out there. Very few, if any, have the professionalism and quality of response, fair price, and great communication than Timberline. But, I made the ultimate mistake in paying the balance in full beforehand so as one could expect, nobody showed. Unfortunately, we had a wedding we were planning and things got busy so it slipped my mind. In any case, we never got the extra 2 feet of barrier by the deck nor did we get the dead plants replaced. In any case, they did good work, but if you use them, be sure you get everything done before paying in full as you'll likely have little to no recourse. Update: I heard from the owner and she indicated that it was not intended and they still have an open work order. We'll be scheduling some time in the spring to get the last items finished. DLC responded quickly with an estimate, and after asking friends about it I was told it was a good deal. So I responded that I would like to use their service and an email was sent with a link to pay, which made it a breeze, and set up a weekly appointment during this rainy month of May. They came the same day I paid, and did a terrific job considering what I'd tried to do (it was bad) and the lawn looks great. I will put up pictures when the lawn looks a little better, because I'd tried to use an electric mower that wouldn't adjust properly so some spots are awful. Anyway, great job, guys! They used a collection agency which dropped them after they refused Mid Michigan Collection Agency's proposal of $100.00.
