This store is stuffed to the ceiling with secondhand books to buy. They have EVERYTHING you can…read morethink of when it comes to genre and the prices are decent. Just be prepared to really dig through the stacks because the store is larger than it appears since it extends way back from the sidewalk. They may be randomly closed due to the limited number of employees so check before you head there. The service is friendly and you come away from the experience feeling like you want to go back and dig some more for books.

He also will let you listen to used items you are looking at so you can try new stuff to see if you like it without having to buy it. Best record store in town. I brought a friend here from TN this past Sept. and we dug around for a while. My friend bought a cassette or two he found and we had fun looking. I walked away with J. Geils Band vinyl from the record bins here. Definitely worth a visit to see the vintage toys, collectables, bikes, and shirts.

I always get a…read morelatte (and there is never a line, unlike the OTHER place) and I always get a delicious latte. It tends to be early in the morning, and I can be a little cranky after getting through security, but the quick and delicious Auntie's coffee always perks me up. Cheers to a local option at the Spokane airport! Plus- you can pick up some great local and national bestsellers for the flight. Reading is sexy.

Atticus Coffee and Gifts combines two of my favorite things: a great gift shop and a great coffee…read moreshop. And out of all the new businesses I visited in 2025, this was my favorite. (Unfortunately I literally live on the other side of the country, so before my trip to Spokane ended I made it a point to stop by Atticus multiple times.) The gift shop portion of the store stocks what feels like a little bit of everything. Books, stickers, soaps, lotions, trinkets, home decor, t-shirts, art, books, cards, chocolates...and that's just what I remember! And then the coffee shop portion has a surprisingly large menu. I'm used to coffee shops in stores being more like small coffee stands; but nope, this operation feels like a fully stocked coffee shop. Plus they also serve tea, matcha, and smoothies...and breakfast sandwiches, AND pastries. As you might imagine: this all makes the store smell quite good! There aren't a ton of seats but when I visited with family, we managed to find a couple tables so we could enjoy our drinks and snacks sitting down. Their coffee is very, very tasty - I tried both hot and iced lattes during my multiple visits. I didn't have tea on-site but I did buy some of their blends to brew at home, and they are also very, very tasty. Unfortunately they don't do online sales, and since I was traveling I didn't have the space to pack up everything I wanted to take home with me. Maybe future me will have the chance to come back...in the meantime, I hope you lucky locals appreciate this place as much as I did!
