I walked into this nice little bookstore and the first thing I saw was a rack of $1 books which is where 22 of my books came from, bunch of Edgar Rice Burroughs books all in great shape then I went to the fantasy section where I found 6 Horseclans series books I needed for $4 each also in great shape. This bookstore is so cozy. The workers are always sweet and friendly. Whenever I've gone in, I've always found something and at a very reasonable price. There are fun displays and a surprisingly wide selection for such a small place. Local artists' work is featured which is amazing. You can also sell books. They have a great selection with new books arriving all the time. Plus they have 25¢ sales regularly on their sidewalk which are great opportunities to stock up on your reading lists! Oh man I love book stores and all things books but I'm SOOO happy this place is in my hometown . Staff: 5+ The co-owners know their books and love them which is so hard to find when you walk into a mega bookstore and ask for something specific they can direct you to a section but not a very specific book. I just love interacting with people who have intimate knowledge and care of their books. Not to mention when I showed up with 2 small children and a giant box in my car they came and helped by unloading the books from my car!! Child friendly: 10 - that's not even a rating but if I could give it I would. Not only do they embrace children in their children section but they have an understanding and solid boundaries in talking with children which is awesome! For example they don't tell but they enforce normal expectations in a kid friendly way (which is so rare today). So if you want your kids to have happy feelings about reading .... bring them here!!! Selection: 4.5 as I understand they were working through a large amount of old stock when they bought the store but the turnaround I've seen in just a couple months is super encouraging ..... it isn't like some bookstores that are only stocked with the owners obvious preferences ..... this place has variety!!! And I believe they can order something you may be looking for as well (but don't quote me) Vibe: 5- super cozy, cool music, organized with abundance but no danger of stepping on books or having them fail on you. There's a bathroom (which is a huge plus for a mom With littles) Price: 5 super affordable, they offer trade in credit, they have punch cards, and randomly have other value things too (sales, drawings, etc!). Page 42 - New addition for our poetry hour! - Used Bookstore Near Me - Spokane, Washington

Even though we don't live in Spokane (yet), we have been following this used book store on Instragram. My older daughter has been living here for over 7 years. We were visiting for the week and this was a must stop place on our list. We LOVE books and don't like to pay retail prices. This place isn't huge but they had a great selection including religious books and a children's section! The owner and her brother were very friendly and welcoming. Between 4 adults looking at books and a 3 year old, we walked out with I think 17 books, maybe a bit more books, for only $85! Their prices are phenomenal! Most books were a few dollars. I think only 1 book my husband got was $10, another $6 and one more for $5. The rest $4, $3 & $2. They have a sale area which is 50% off. They also have 1st additions and rare books. Love that this place is independently owned! Go look around and maybe you can find something you are looking for or if you have a book lover in the family you can go in and get a gift certificate for Christmas.... actually not sure if they offer gift certificate but you can call and find out. We will definitely be back when we are visiting again. read more

What a fantastic little bookstore. This place had so many great books and unbelievable prices. I wish I knew this existed sooner. I've been searching for my go-to bookstore in Spokane since I moved, and I think I just found it!! They also have an epic punchcard system. This is a great bookstore, lots of selection and very reasonable prices. The building is small, but I don't feel like I'm going to knock anything over while browsing the shelves. The staff is also super friendly and helpful. read more

This bookstore is just what Spokane needs, there's a little bit of something for everyone at unbeatable prices! A great selection of fiction and nonfiction, a cute lil' kids nook, a bunch of DVDs, and even some local art on the walls. The first time I came in I was looking for a single book (they had it) and I ended up leaving with a complete series I've been hunting for plus a super cool vintage board game. On top of all that the staff is just the best, Emily and Alicia both took the time to help me find all the items I was looking for and were a hoot to chat with.
