That said, I have been to several of the cooking schools in Columbus and this was my least favorite overall attendee experience. It was more expensive, yet very "basic" for lack of a better word. All of the cooking classes I have attended come with some kind of amenities - a welcome cocktail, wine bar, cheese and crackers, hot coffee/tea, etc. Something. This class was three hours long and there was nothing offered but water and iced tea (on a 20 degree day). We also did not receive any kind of information prior to the class, so parking was like solving a mystery (hint: the parking lot is behind the house down a side alleyway)

The entire cupcake should be good not just one half component of it. Seriously, this is the best selection of cards, calendars, and other paper products in the city!

They carry their own cards, book binding supplies, leather goods, aprons by AmyD, stinkybomb soaps and many more locally crafted items.

I currently teach armchair travel and history seminars for Lifelong Learning, but have also taken a bunch of different classes through this program, including yoga, pottery, craft and cooking classes. The instructors are reputable professors, tradespeople and professionals within their industry. Prices vary depending on how many sessions are taught for the one class. A class like pottery will meet 7 or 8 times and the cost is around $100, whereas my one-class travel or history seminars only cost about $18-$20 for a 2-hour presentation. Cost is also based on whether or not you are a resident of Upper Arlington. The difference isn't very much for non-residents, but there is a slight price break for those who live in the neighborhood. If you want to explore your artistic side, drawing, photography, oil painting, watercolors, and craft classes are among the offerings. If you prefer something more physical, choose from a variety of fitness, meditation and dance courses. Each quarter also brings random "one-off" seminars focused on topics like speed reading, local history or political issues. Classes are offered year-round and catalogues come out every quarter. The classes are open to the public and you can register on line, via telephone or the sign-up form in the catalogue, which you can request be mailed to you.

He will take the time to answer questions from the class and will review a sequence a few times until the majority of us pick it up. He was exceptional! My only complaint is the street parking-Make sure you arrive a few minutes early to park, set your things down and stretch. I highly recommend the dance center to those in the area!

The yoga program is new, but offers a great contrast to the other class formats. Note that the studio has 1 restroom. Coming changed and ready is recommended! It is indeed more that just crafts, it was also kinds of works of art done by craftspeople and there were lots of beautiful pieces to look at. Loved that we were also able to interact with voting for our favorite, and also a scavenger hunt (with stickers as prizes). Such great things in the gift shop and loved the silent auction section too. I know for sure I'll be back every time they have a new show- it's free to enter, walk around and see great art. And the employee working was so friendly and told us all about it and gave us lots of helpful info and attention. Highly recommend, we were there about an hour, lovely way to spend some time during a hot afternoon.
