We were stranded late Saturday night in Boone on the last day of our vacation because our rental car got a flat and the spare tire was bad. We were able to communicate with Abby Cab late Saturday night and they secured a car for us first thing Sunday morning to drive us two hours to the Charlotte Douglas Airport in time for our flight. Tommy was kind and prompt and a very knowledgeable and safe driver. His vehicle was safe and clean for installing the two carseats for my kids. Abby Cab is definitely a great option for transport in the North Carolina area.

Leave the driving to them!…read more Myself and I'm wondering how many others are guilty of not leaving reviews when service is good, great , or excellent. I had trepidation, reading a few reviews and hiring Hickory hop. It turns out like any organization they have had an employee that didn't work out., And the situation was quickly resolved once it came to their attention. My experience was excellent. They called me the night before and prompted me to call once I landed in Charlotte. They were clear and direct on time of pick up , courteous and enjoyable. The 3 hour total drive went very quickly as chose to lightly chat with the friendly, interesting and personable drivers. The stop over in the small private airport easy a basic snack bar/ café, a neat small airport museum, and a very quick break between rides that again was brief and just as they described, e.g. 15 minutes later, my second driver and van came. I strongly recommend Hickory Hop and don't forget to ask about the punchcard.

However, that 2 hour drive out of his way seemed not ideal so we looked for a driving service. Enter Richard of EZ Shuttle. We reached out the night before and he was available to take us to the airport which is a 2 hour drive. He was super prompt to get us at our cabin, had a clean car, offered us water and was such a delightful driver. He also gave us some history of the area which was nice. Our party of 5 made it safely to the airport for a reasonable price. Not only does he do airport transfers but he also can drive you in the area if you're looking to go to wineries or just get around the mountains without having to drive. Will totally be using his services again!

I reached out to Johnny with a full afternoon itinerary that would take us around to 3 wineries in the region. Johnny pulled up at 11:30 on the DOT, his car was spotless, and he was so personable. He's born and raised in the area and had a lot of great stories to share with us on our 30 minute ride down to the vineyards. On a whim, we realized that we were passing by the woodshop of our family friends and we asked if he would mind pulling into the driveway to see if he was home, he didn't even flinch as we pulled up the gravel driveway to the little cottage-like home that was quite the deviation from the plan to the winery. To say he is flexible and accommodating would be an understatement. We are only in the area once, maybe twice a year, but my family is already floating his business card and information around their development because of how great his service is. If you're in the Asheville/Hendersonville area and need local transportation 11/10, Johnny is your guy.
