My garage door puller was grinding when I open the door. The door pully on the right side lost tension, cable unwounded off the pulley, two rollers jumped the track. The door looks so bad because it was unlevel and I had to push the door up to get my truck out. My car was parked in the driveway. This was Thursday night at 6:00pm. I researched online the service companies near Chamblee. I choose, Liberty garage services, scheduled an appointment for 9:30am Friday. The tech arrived at 9:15am. He explained what will need to be done and gave me a good estimate. He fixed, adjusted and leveled door in 1 hr. Very professional. He did a great job and greased the cable also. They gave us a 4 hour window of arrival for the initial inspection which was a bit inconvenient as they could not give a better estimated arrival time. The day of the installation, they gave a two hour time window of arrival and were on-site for three hours to replace two garage doors and two garage door openers. Scott and his team were pretty quick and did a decent job. My largest complaint would be the company's attention to detail. After completing the job, they left a large amount of debris and trash including nails, screws, and staples which could have been cleaned from a quick and easy sweep. I had swept the entire garage out the day before so it was quite obvious that it was left from their time on site. In addition, they forgot to attach a hinge pin which resulted in the arm quickly being detached from the track after they left. A simple fix, but these oversights can be easily be avoided with better attention to detail. Overall, decent work by this company and I would recommend them. I would, however suggest that you do a once over of their work afterwards from my experience with them.

He walked me through it, saving me the emergency trip fee and whatever the cost would have been to fix it. Most, if not all other companies would have come out, charged the emergency fee, and charged whatever they wanted to fix it . They would have never said it was simple to fix, nor would they have been willing to walk me through the steps to fix the issue and not charge me some type of phone repair fee. At that point I knew I would be keeping their number for ever. On January 19, 2024 -I had a major problem with my garage door. I had FaceTimed a friend in another state and showed him my garage door and he said, do not try to close the door because it was off track, a piece had fallen out, and it may fall which would not be pretty. He told me to call someone who works on garage doors immediately. I remembered having Georgia garage doors number and gave them a call. I spoke to Jermey again, and it was the same impeccable customer service I received in 2021. Again, I sent pictures - Jermey told me (not to try to close the door) - exactly what my friend told me. I did request for them to come out this time for an emergency because I did not want my garage door left up the entire weekend. Jermey came, and he was as polite, and professional in person as he was over the phone. He actually provided me safety options on what I could do to possibly have more time before having to purchase a new garage door. After doing my own research prior to contacting them and speaking with my friend while FaceTiming the door- I knew it was probably best for my household to go on and purchase a new garage door for safety reasons. Spencer adjusted the garage door jamb to align it with the siding, cleaned up the caulking, and made a minor adjustment to how one of the doors was hung. I am happy with how the company quickly improved its work. Original review (12/16/24): I hired Balanced Garage Doors to replace two old wooden garage doors. The price of the job and the quality of the doors are decent. However, the quality of the work leaves something to be desired. Our installer left a decent mess after the work was completed, including glass shards from the old garage door windows. I also found one of the siding panels out of place. The installer came to fix the siding today. Regardless, the quality of work seems poor, considering I paid $3600 for the job.
