Update to my post on 12/20/23 My family started the process…read moreof planning a yr.or so ago. I worked with Kristen each and every step of the way. Kristen had excellent communication skills and made sure I understood everything that would take place upon my family member passing. Kristen always answered all calls and emails promptly. Sad to say my loved one passed this past Sept. I was then assigned to work with Andrew and McKenna(sp). Andrew was AMAZING ! Even during this stressful time he made sure all of my request were completed. He went above and beyond in all aspects of planning the service, and setting up the day of the service. There were several times I would focus on what he was doing and he was meticulous again in paying attention to small details making sure things were perfect ! Andrew truly made this day smooth and let me to truly focus on the moment and nothing else... Everything was as perfect as it could be ! I'm truly happy that when my time comes that my family will be treated with utmost respect and have full confidence that all request will be met without stress beyond the normal, under those circumstances. If I could give this location 10 stars I would in a heartbeat !! **********

Beautiful, this is a amazing resting place located in the city…read more I have been to a few services here, each has been well organized, and the staff seem to genuinely care about the family. The family is allowed to add a unique touch to the services to honor their loved one. They have a garden cementary , on grounds and it is beautiful. I have attended both indoor and outdoor services and was impressed by both.

My father wanted his body donated to science and then cremated. This is exactly what Meaningful…read moreDonation does, and they do it at no cost. When my dad passed away, the hospital gave me the contact info for "Meaningful Donation" in Aurora Colorado, and I called them. They have an after hours answering service (a real person, not a robot) who took a message, and I received a call back from the company within 30 minutes. They were very kind and compassionate throughout the process, and they took care of all arrangements with the hospital. They will collect the body, provide next of kin with a signed death certificate, use the body for science and medical research (teaching medical students), and then cremate the remains and send some of the ashes back to the surviving family member. I highly recommend this option for people who prefer cremation to casket and burial.

We unfortunately did not have a good experience making the grief process all the more difficult…read more Everything leading up to my fathers passing was very smooth. We are strong believers in this process but the communication broke down quickly. We were unable to contact the owner and did not get a call back after his passing. Her mailbox was full and the 24 hour line was an automated robot that was frankly off putting. (My father was properly picked up from hospice care and tended to, we just didnt get the notification about it.) We then received documentation that we were not suppose to receive that added grief and confusion. Without the communication and explanation from the owner, we were left frazzled and confused. Unfortunately, when we did get in touch with owner, her emotions were more important than ours in this gentle state. My fathers brain was able to be donated ahead of our communication after her passed, but after we finally got in touch, it got personal wanting to go over why a comment that I made (and apologized for) hurt her feelings. She then got more personal telling me her mailbox did not have a personal message because she had creditors coming after her. We were then told we had to find another solution for the remainder of the remains of my father. This was cruel to leave us in this situation. Our conversations we prioritized by her needing to vent her feelings and not understanding how sad we were during this time and just wanting to do the right thing. Again, we believe in this process, and strongly encourage others to participate. Just not through this company. We weren't looking for "free cremation services" or a "free transportation" (this we got- a whopping $150 value. lucky us). We genuinely wanted to honor my dad's wishes, but this company didn't let that happen. We have had 2 other experiences with this type of donation and were never met with this type of situation.
