Now 2 months later I get a bill in the mail saying I'm late with late fee's. I just called them and they were very rude and said there is nothing they can do about it. There is something I can do about it. Better business bureau. If this bill is not taken care of I have my business attorneys on retainer. They have terrible business practices.

They only offered me a 12 month deferment, and I would be obligated for the remaining amount to complete my account. I researched my contract and found that if you cancel, the only obligation is to pay 50% of the remaining balance. There was an outstanding balance of the equipment that was financed, so I continued making payments on the equipment and the monitoring fee even though I had no services. The equipment was paid off in February of 2025. I continued to pay up to February of 2026, and I still had to pay 172.00 to buy the contract out. I hate everything about this company from customer service to the installers, down to sales. Not professional and not a recommendation from me. I hope that no one else will go to them for service because they will be doing the same thing once they get the full effects I am experiencing. SHAME ON YOU VIVINT!!!
