Roberto was quick to give me a fair estimate and work me into his busy schedule. He and his crew came on time, were super nice, worked through two days of rain and wind, salvaged my bricks! and did a great job. They also did some repointing in a few spots. When we came home we found that they were short of the mark. Someone that we had never seen before came to ask us for final payment. We told him that it did not meet the specs that Max had written up and thought that it should be corrected or the price adjusted. He said that Max would call. Max never called but we came home one day to find them working on it. I walked to talk to Max but kept working feverishly and refused to acknowledge me. I went out 3 times. When they were done Max came to my door in an angry manner and demanded final payment. I asked if we could look over the project and he went into a tantrum. He angrily said that I had approved it when they got done, but I was not there at that time. I refused to pay until we went over the finished project. Max threatened to pull up the p[avers, and so I went into the house. He asked his help to pull up the pavers, and finally another man came to talk to me. He was rational, apologized for Max, and we looked at the final project. It was still short of the specs but close. I paid to get it over with. It was as if dealing a 4 year old throwing a tantrum.

I ended up getting my concrete driveway, sidewalk, and patio replaced by McIntyre Concrete. My…read moremain reason was to get the Concrete against my house lifted back up to the level it was. With a brick house I was able to see how over the years how my Concrete had lowered causing it to lean in towards my house. This caused rain to go towards my house. I will say McIntyre and his crew was punctual and fast. They got the job done in one day. However, I could see how the new Concrete was still leaning towards my house. In the back I decided to pour the patio right up to the back of my garage. This I could also see was leaning in towards my garage. We had two or three hard rains after my job was done. The water in the back of the garage seeped through the back wall wear the Concrete came up to the wall. I have several pictures of my garage floor with water all over. I contacted McIntyre and he came over. I explained what was going on. McIntyre said if he put in a drain he really didn't want to do it for nothing. He also said he realized it was his job though. He then quoted a price of $750.00 to put in a drain. So the job cost over $10,000.00 and he said he realized it was his job. Yet, he wanted me to pay $750.00 to try fixing a problem I had nothing to do with. This was just to try fixing the Concrete leaning in towards my house. I was afraid to ask how to get the problem fixed back by the garage where the rain water seeps into my garage. He put caulk on it and told me to see how that worked. I went through winter and because the Concrete wasn't angled properly it caused water to sit on the driveway. When it rain was the worse. I remembering as a result I slipped and almost fell. I told McIntyre when he had come over I was most concern that my Mom didn't slip and fall as a result of water remaining on driveway. After winter passed by I attempted to contact McIntyre by, phone and text explaining I'd like to set up a time to meet with him at my house. He never returned my calls or texts. I hired McIntyre because he has many years pouring concrete, however the pour didn't angle the concrete as it should be. I still sit to date, with his Concrete job leaning in towards my house on my driveway and at the back of my garage. I'm fairly certain his Concrete at his house isn't leaning in towards his house. He actually has heated floors in his house as I've been told. Also, the caulk has since shrunk leaving holes for water to get by. Thank you for your time. I encourage you to really do your homework when you decide to spend over $10,000.00 and make a educated guess who to higher. I hoped I helped some people out to save them from the same problem I have. Roger
