When I asked about risks from the anesthetic he just proceeded to list a number of other things he could bill for and not actually answer my question about risks. When our cat had the stitches removed he clearly messed up removing them, causing more injury to our cat, then proceeded to tell me that the cat must've licked open the wound when that was definitely not the case as I took a photo before the appointment (see attached photos). He then re-stitched the wound with no anesthetic (I could hear my cat yowling from the back room) and then instructed me to pour hydrogen peroxide on the cat's wound and said "don't worry it doesn't hurt them" when my cat clearly reacted in pain. He obviously does not care at all about causing pain to your pet and will lie to your face about what happens in the back room. Go to any other vet as this guy is not up to the standard of every single other vet in Ontario that I've been to.

Given how emotional the death was and how terribly sad and distraught I was, I didn't have the courage to take her to my vet and had asked my sister if she could take the dog to her vet which is Dr Aziz. I have just learned 3 weeks later that the individual who sent the dog to the crematorium incorrectly labeled the dog and she was mass-cremated. I'm looking into my options at the moment as this is absolutely careless and unacceptable with very little apology and acknowledgement from the vet.

Through thick and thin -…read moreeverything from routine vaccines to emergency appointments and ortho surgeries, and euthanasias - this team of veterinarians and support staff have been incredible. The team here is so caring and empathetic. But also importantly, they're professional and this is a well-run clinic in terms of getting in to appointments on time, getting timely reminders, and so forth. I think, in terms of their commitment to service excellence and pet care, they are the best in the city. Would very highly recommend!

They are absolutely fabulous here. From those at the front desk, to the Vets. Dr Fleming is always going out of her way for everyone with an animal issue. any time I see someone with a concern about their pets on our groups she's always there offering her support or advice. She does this in her own time. I'll bet usually when she's watching TV with her family, or she's suppose to be sleeping. She doesn't profit from it in anyway other than the passion she gets from helping pets. Just the other week she was in Paris on vacation with her family and I sent her an email looking for a second opinion on something and she not only responded, she requested the medical findings and records so she could look them over and help me make the right choice. Again, while on vacation, in Paris, with her family. she'll give it to you straight, whether you agree or not is up to you. She is one of the most heartfelt people I have ever met and we are beyond fortunate to have her looking after our pets. You get what you pay for. They don't cut corners on medical testing, or advice. They arnt just going to throw meds at your pet and hope it fixes the issue- They do it right. I have dealt with many of the people up front, vet techs, vets, they are all amazing. No matter who you see here, you'll be treated well. Thank you so much Guelph Animal Hospital for everything you do

We got a beagle and he is still a young puppy so barks quite a lot, the staff in Oakville said it's totally normal for puppy because he is scared. The whole process was around 1 hour or more, with clear explanation afterwards what's done and what's not due to the condition of our dog. However, with the Milton store, the whole cleaning only lasts half an hour and we got the call to pick up our dog. Furthermore, the staff complained our dog for barking and possibly being aggressive. Being with regular vet checks and several grooming services, it's the first time that somebody call our dog aggressive. Will not go there again. Would rather drive to Oakville for a professional service that my dog deserves!!

At the location in Milton I expected a similar experience. I was wrong! Immediately upon entering the grooming salon it felt very different. It was relaxing and comfortable and the groomers were very gentle. I felt comfortable leaving my dog here. I was even more surprised when I picked my dog up three hours later. She was so happy and relaxed and her hair cut looks amazing! I am so happy with my experience here and I will definitely take my dog back here for future grooming with Kira E. Thank you for taking care of my dog!

This boarding place is a great middle ground between having Cat sitters and boarding at a vet. Your Cat is boarded in rooms with many suites that opens into a hallway. You can pick suites with windows or even birdfeeders for extra cost. The price for additional Cats is significantly less than the initial Cat. All the Cat's needs are provided for such as water, litterbox cleaning, and daily free roaming into that hallway. I believe you need to supply your own food, I had to since my Cats are on prescription kibble. What sets this place apart from Cat sitters is that they can administer Cat medication, as one of mine needed eye drops. My 2 Cats stayed there for 1 week and the price was pretty reasonable. I can definitely tell my Cats didn't drink enough water as they wolfed it down when back home. Lastly this is only relevant during covid restrictions, but with contactless pickup, make sure your Cat isn't skittish af. One of my Cats has trauma when rescued so she fought for her life to not get put into her carrier by the employee. I would personally request to put that Cat into the carrier yourself, to avoid contributing to the place's smell and avoid needless bleeding. The employee working that day needs a raise or something...
