This is Bark. He's my third child. Literally!!! He sleeps with Kids. Breaks up their fights. Swims with them... wrestled with them...

Abby provided us with the best and goofiest puppy, dog, family member, comforter, watch dog EVER!

I did a lot of research before and she was the closest to me and from the pictures online seemed to be the perfect match for what I was looking for. The pictures of the parents looked a bit outdated (which they are). Also, I am almost positive that the weights for the dogs on the website are incorrect because Bailey was said to be around 30 pounds, but when seeing her in person she looked between 40-50 lbs. Communication with Nancy was good in the beginning, but once puppies came and I would ask for pictures she wouldn't text back until she sent a weekly/biweekly update that was very generic. My puppy ended up with Giardia when she came home and I was let know by someone else from my litter that the vet records were falsified and I had contacted the vet that was on the records and they confirmed that she had been falsifying records for a long time now. I contacted Nancy about this and she tried to lie at first over text and was ignoring all my phone calls. Finally after calling a few times she admitted that she had administered the shots herself. She refunded me my deposit to cover the giardia cost, but I will not be recommending her or be going through her for another puppy.

I contacted the breeder and she assured me that the first shots were given. Please if you are on the waitlist, when picking up, ask her about your puppy's first shots. Who gave them and when. I'm ok, if she administered it herself but be honest about it. Honesty is important when dealing a business transaction. My pup is now 6 months and thriving. Thank goodness he's healthy and we love him! 3 Stars is due to dishonesty

From the owner: We are a small hobby breeder of quality AKC golden retrievers. Our goldens are family members and…read moreso we produce a limited number of litters a year, prioritizing the health and happiness of our dogs and ensuring that our pups are brought up in a safe and loving environment. Our sires and dams have been DNA tested to be free of any genetic abnormalities and known genetic issues that are common to Golden Retrievers. Our puppies are raised in our home and socialized to people at an early age. They live in our family room, the hub of our home, for the first several weeks of life and are held and handled daily and given a lot of stimulation to promote healthy development, trust in being handled, and love of human interaction. We begin noise training at an early age to a variety of sounds including vacuum, lawn mower, blower, television, kitchen noises, as well as parrot and chicken noises. They also get exposed to other sounds of nature through dog tv videos featuring dogs, squirrels, birds, and other animals as well as other nature shows played on the tv daily in the family room for the enjoyment of our own dogs as well as the pups. House training is started while still in the whelping pen capitalizing on puppy's basic instinct to not soil their sleeping area. Positive reinforcement is used to encourage positive behaviors. Pups are exposed to age appropriate toys as baby teeth are growing in, to allow them to explore and gain exposure through mouthing different textures.
