I didn't even like getting my hair cut due waiting that could last 30-60 min past your appointment and doctors are the worst at not meeting my appointment. I feel I am a busy boy and if you are going to charge me a late fee, then maybe I should charge you for wasting me time. All this said, you don't have to worry about this with the great people at Laveen Dental Care. They even called me in early from a 4PM to a 3PM appointment. I didn't have a busy day so why not get the masochism over. From the desk clerk, to the hygienist (totally googled that spelling, and the Dentist, they have a crew of amazing customer service. They let you fill your medical information in advance on your phone and send multiple reminders via text, so you dont forget your appointment. My cleaning consisted of a waterpik scrapy thing, the metal spike on my teeth and gums along with a lot of spray and sucky. She then polished my teeth and then flossed them as if that is going to make up for all of the lack of flossing after the pass 6 months. I am pretty sure my total visit was 20 minutes. 20 effing minutes for something that takes an hour at most horrible dentists. I also didn't mention that included the Dentist exam that told me that my teeth were amazing. No floss shaming, no telling me I need to brush better, and no upsales for lasers, tasers, or flouride treatment. They also offer $25 for a yelp review, which is why you see me here telling you how great there are, but in reality my cleanings are paid for by my overpriced insurance and I just want to keep these guys in business for Laveen, so I can go back. I would still take them up on the $25 even if there were terrible cause $20 bucks is $20 bucks but I wouldn't give a good review and wouldn't go back Their best advice was to stop brushing my gums so hard to help receding gum line. Other dentists told me to brush down, not knowing what manly aggression I would put into those red gummies. Ill also note I haven't had a big bloody mess on my teeth since visiting them. If you live in Laveen, this is your best choice or even within a 30 mile radius. I used to have my wife drag me to Tempe before putting my foot down telling here that there has to be a good dentist on the westside and gdamt I was right and something better than I have ever had.

They are accommodating with my schedule and always go above and beyond explaining things. I find that they don't talk at me or make me feel like I don't have a choice in my care but work with me. The front desk staff was actually very kind and helpful, so this review is not directed at them. But once someone finally came to do my X-rays, I asked how much longer the appointment would realistically take since I had work later in the morning. They avoided giving me a straight answer at first and eventually told me it could still take another 40 minutes to an hour. At that point, I left before they could even begin the X-rays because I simply could not keep waiting. I understand delays happen occasionally, but why schedule patients for 9:00 AM appointments if the office clearly isn't ready to see them anywhere near that time? The entire experience felt extremely overcrowded and overbooked. Honestly, I should have realized something was off when they were able to offer me a next-day appointment so easily. Very disappointing experience and I won't be returning.

I learned WE have to request they send a pre-treatment estimate in for the claim to be reviewed prior to services. It's infuriating places like this take advantage of patients who don't have a general understanding of dental procedures. Luckily I called my insurance because something just didn't feel right and NO WAY should a cleaning cost over a thousand dollars.

Making a first-time appointment is easy, and requires no communication with a staff member (as you do it all online) -- you can even print out the forms ahead of your appointment. The waiting area is typically empty, and never overbooked. I went in for a routine cleaning and exam, and the dental assistant was super kind, and helpful. She was patient, and explained what she was doing ahead of doing it. The hygenist, similarly, took her time to explain what tools she'd be using, the sounds they make, and what I could expect pain-wise. I also had to get a deeper cleaning and 2 wisdom teeth extractions. They worked with my scheduling timeline, and the office manager walked me through the pricing. The deep clean was relatively painless and quick (but it did require an additional follow-up appointment). And the wisdom tooth extraction was very, very quick. I chose to do it with local anesthesia and the surgeon and assistant were super patient, and communicative throughout the entire procedure. When I asked them if I could listen to music to distract myself/calm myself, they allowed me to, and when I asked them to repeat the follow-up care instructions to my guardian, they happily complied. All in all, I've had a pretty seamless experience. Everyone was accommodating and helpful. My only complaint is that they are more expensive than other dental offices, and I had to go to more appointments than I expected, but they were thorough and patient in every instance.

On the morning of my appointment for my wisdom teeth getting pulled I was very nervous. The staff was very kind and understanding of how I felt and answered all of my questions even the crazy what-if ones. The actual pulling part was very efficient. I thought it was going to take a lot longer than it did. (I got my top two wisdom teeth pulled) I was very impressed by my whole visit. All of the after care instructions were explained well. After I left I got my prescriptions, went home and took a nap. When I woke up I felt great, no pain, no swelling or soreness. Even the next day I felt great as well.
