Caffe Lusso is only open during the day but has great breakfast and lunch menu's. It is a busy wee place with lots of regulars - a loyalty card is now offered too with free coffee's up for grabs once you've collected your stamps. I was here with family - just for coffee. I had my 9 month old niece in the pram and we had plenty of space to bring the pram in so we could have a coffee, with staff directing us to the table which would suit us best. Coffee which is good comes with little bits of tablet on the side (yum). Menu's is great - selection of tray bakes and cakes, as well as breakfast rolls, smoothies, sandwiches, ciabatta's, wraps, salads and 'hot' foods such as pasta dishes plus specials. Sandwiches often come with salad and crisps/tortilla chips and are a filling and tasty option. So well worth a visit if in Paisley. Friendly staff and great service :-)

You got to select a sandwich, cake and scone of your choice with free tea or coffee refills for £8.95 each. One of the best deals EVER!! In particular, the fruit scone deserves a mention - it was one of the best I've ever had! Had a lovely time catching up with a old friend and I was really impressed. Crunchy and light on the outside and wonderfully sticky and chewy on the inside. Heaven!! My partner made short work of her scone and confirmed it was good with the universal "ok" sign made as she was too busy enjoying eating it to talk! The owner (I'm guessing) was friendly and happy to confirm she baked the meringues herself. It's cheap, cheerful, and well worth dropping in for a visit. The food is good (the menu is simple but that's no bad thing) and homemade, the service quick and friendly, and the vibe of the place is a fun and quirky mix of vintage from previous decades. Lots of local traffic popping in for coffee and cakes, especially lots of cyclists so it can be difficult to get a seat. I've picked up take away cake from here before for friends and its went down well. There is usually one gluten free cake option. This time we visited just for coffee which was good. Order at the till, pay and staff will bring to your table. They also have a licence do organic wines available as well as innis and gunn on draft. Good addition to Kilmacolm and worth checking out.

I would have ordered a latte but their coffee machine was broken, which the waitress was very apologetic about, so I ordered tea instead. Everything was reasonably priced and I didn't wait long for it. I noticed that they advertise all their soups as being gluten free and that they offer gluten free bread if you ask for it. They also had a lot of veggie options available. The cafe gets quite a lot of natural light, thanks to the big windows that line one wall of it, and, although I couldn't figure out how to connect to the WiFi, I think it would be a good place to work or read.

I did not have a chance to test their food so am unable to comment. Do note however: This is a VERY small place. Cozy to be sure, but small and by no means for larger groups. It is ideal for the soloist and duos to come in and have a fairly quick coffee, cake, and food (I assume). This is NOT a place to study. There are no comfortable lounge chairs, chairs or tables. The seating is composed of stools that reside at two bars. It's kind of reminding me of Italian style cafes where you drink your espresso at the bar, across from the barista who just served it to you (though in Rome, they don't offer you stools even!). For a cafe, it is a little pricey, however, a percentage of proceeds go to the Erskine Hospital for Military Personnel therefore, I am willing to pay a little extra for what I order. The food is of high quality and the cafe is always busy when I am in, a great sign of a good place. When the cafe is very busy, service can be a little slow but that is to be expected when the staff are run off of their feet.
