Amazingly I found this highly rated mechanic who not only was within AAA's 5 mile tow limit, but who could help me out at 1pm on a Friday! While I waited for the tow truck they ordered the parts and got ready for my arrival. I was quoted 4-5 hours for the job and was so grateful for the comfortable couch and large TV w Netflix to spend the time relaxing after a very busy trip. They were totally fine with my dog hanging out with me as well which was nice to not have to stress about. The AC was nice and cool on a 90° day. The guys were all very friendly and helpful. I am so lucky to have found them!! Because I'm super picky about who works on my car, I took it in to my mechanic when I got home just to be sure all was well (I discovered that my horn didn't work on the way home, but other than that the car ran as if nothing ever happened). My mechanic said everything was good except there were 2 other harnesses that were not connected (I didn't find out what they were). All in all I feel so lucky to have ended up in A&M's shop, I felt very well taken care of and for a good price. THANK YOU GUYS!! I really dont know what I would have done without you! After another auto repair shop completely screwed up my car, I brought it to Bayside after being scared to drive it all the way home from work. It was looked at the next day, and the owner sent me a video of my engine going crazy (like it was the day before too) and proof there was zero oil in the engine, and that it was seizing. They flushed it with oil for me, ran it for a while, and told me that they did what they could, but they were not sure how much damage had been done without taking apart the engine completely, but it was not good. I'm so grateful Bayside was honest with me and truly saved me from a really unsafe situation. The owner is upfront, honest, and will do anything to help you. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and hope they will be serving our community for a long time to come.

The owner, Isaac, seemed kind, chatty, and very knowledgeable about vehicles. They had the vehicle for a little over two hours and only found that it needed an oil change and sway bar links. Cool. I ended up buying the car for $4,000. I brought it back to the shop a few days later to get that oil change and those sway bar links. However, mid-week when I called for an update, they claimed there were other issues that they didn't spot with the pre-purchase inspection. I respected they admitted it was their oversight, but obviously I wasn't pleased. Still, I told him to proceed with the repairs. Days went by without hearing from them. Several times I called, it went straight to voicemail, where I left messages, but never received a call back. A week later when I called, I was told a part didn't come in but it should be ready to pick up on Thursday. Great. People, it wasn't ready until a few hours before they closed on Saturday! Honestly, I think if I didn't keep calling, they'd still have it. The final bill was $3200. You read that correctly. I'm still in sticker shock. So, not only did this shop have my vehicle for two weeks, found issues after the inspection, and didn't keep me updated on its progress...they charged me almost as much as I paid for the vehicle to have it repaired.
