This started out as a good thing, we ordered a vanity top for our master bathroom but it turned…read moreinto a nightmare! They were very lax about calling you with information concerning when they were coming to do the installation and any follow-up afterward was always initiated by us. During installation the installers almost broke the granite, had my husband not been watching they would have. He told them to just slide it in because they were trying to "wiggle" it in from the top down the sides. In the process they caused a lot of damage to our drywall, we had scraps, scuffs, and lots of chunks torn out of it. We also had a side splash piece that was chipped and they used the wrong color of chalk! They told us that the company would come out and fix the drywall and get the side piece. We waited a day and when we didn't hear from them, we called the office and were told that they were not made aware of any damages! We sent them an email on Sept 18 stating the damages including pictures. After about 2 weeks of calling about when someone would get out to fix it and pick up the side splash piece, we finally got the owner out to look at it, about another week later! He stated that the contract said there might be some scuffs to drywall and we stated that these damages were much more than "scuffs"! He finally agreed to send someone out to fix it and said if they couldn't do so very soon then he would give us a $100 credit so we could get it fixed. We waited another week or so and never heard from them, so I finally called my charge company and disputed the charges because we were having so much trouble getting our side piece fixed and reinstalled and the drywall money. On Oct 9, 2023, they came to get the side piece and returned it on Oct 16th. On October 16, 2023, the owner finally called back to say he couldn't get on his contractor schedule "anytime soon" so he would just pay us the $100. He called on Oct 18th to say he wanted his money now that he had completed the installation of the side piece and reneged on paying the $100 for the drywall! I told him that I had released half of the bill and would release the other half when he paid us the $100 he agreed. He refused and went ballistic screaming at us on the phone! He accused us of using the system to get a free countertop, screaming at us that he wanted his money back in cash not redeposited into his account through the charge card because "we couldn't be trusted!" He even showed up at our house and continued his rampage! He did pay us the $100 in cash but still insisted that we pay him the other half of the bill because he didn't want to wait for the charge company to redeposit it, we told him we would not pay him again, and he just needed to wait just like we waited on him. It has been a nightmare dealing with him! The worst business experience we have ever had!!!

We used Town Granite for our countertops and backsplash during a recent renovation. We can't say…read moreenough positive things about them, but some included how easy they were to work with, how reasonable they were, and the advice they gave us in helping to arrive at best choices. Probably one of the best experiences we had is that they built their templates on a Thursday and were delivering countertops on a Monday. In other words, they were fast. One other thing we liked is that after installation, we wanted a change to the backsplash they made for us. Even though it was a change we instigated, they didn't charge us for that. Really, overall, they were a great experience. Our countertops and backsplash look amazing.

I had hired two remodeling companies for my complete home remodel in the past six months. Both…read morecompanies had given me nothing but issues. I contacted Maurice at All About You Remodeling and Design and explained my needs while venting on the other two companies. Without hesitation, he not only listened but took an hour on the phone with me to talk about options. We set up an in home estimate for the next day. He showed up on time and walked me through the whole process of each remodeling task and what it would entail. He brought a portfolio and even samples on flooring options. Within 2 business days I had a detailed estimate sent to me. I hired this company to do a bathroom remodel, interior painting, and luxury vinyl plank flooring install. They showed up on time on the date I was given for the start date. They worked full days and cleaned up daily. The communication was impeccable. I can not say enough good about this company. There was a contract and the final payment phase wasn't required until the work was complete and I was happy with the results. This company did exactly what they said they would do. I'll be hiring them again in the future when I'm ready for my kitchen remodel.

I hate having to leave a poor review, but I wish I could have known this before hiring All About…read moreYou to install tile and hardwood floors and trim in our new home. Within a month or two of installation, the grout in our master bath had cracked and was starting to fall out in many places. This is just one example, there were other shortcuts taken (not ensuring the floor was level under tile, sloppy painting drips & stain on white stair risers, not filling nail holes, etc.) but really the biggest reason I could not recommend this company is because they would not answer or return my calls. Not one to hassle, I tried calling 3-4 times over the course of a month, leaving 2 gracious messages. Each time I called, I was cut off and redirected to voicemail. It is apparent that All About You Remodeling & Design will not stand by their work. I would be happy to update this review were I to hear back and see All About You stand by the quality of their work in our home, but for these reasons, I cannot recommend their work.

When they got to my house they spent adequate and plenty of time checking everything out. I was very impressed with the fact that it wasn't just one person like it has always been with every other company, but it was actually 2 people and while one was under the house the other was in the house. Everything I wanted check was check and address, easily and very detailed explained in a way that I could understand what they were saying. I would caution paying in full until ALL of the work is finished and to your liking. This project started on December 27, 2023 with grinding, crack repair, and leveling. The epoxy was installed on February 21, 2024. Mike notified me that the middle joint in the floor was starting to peel in areas so he recommended that he grind the middle joint and put a stripe down the middle of the floor. He completed this at the end of February 2024. He notified me that he would come back and complete the work at a more convenient time. Ever since then it has been impossible to get Mike to answer text, phone calls, and voicemail as pictured. I had faith that Mike was not like other contractors that promise to get a job done but never show up and eventually ghost you. That is the case here. It's now January 2025 and I have been extremely patient to the point where it's just disappointing to even enjoy the investment that I trusted Mike with. I typically do not like to leave bad reviews but floors such as these are not cheap and I don't want anyone else to endure typical contractor behavior such as this. When asking him to come out one time he told me that the floor can be used and is not hindering me in anyway... Although true that I can use my floor, that is not the point. The point is I made an investment and after a full year I should have a finished product. I have offered to pay him extra, have asked him for other recommended contractors that complete this, and have even asked him if he intends to come back to finish this. Every time, he ensures me that he will, but I have yet to even believe that. Today's contractors are full of excuses and handshake is not what it used to be. Don't sign up for something if you can't commit.
