From dentures to fillings, checkups and cleanings it has always been a great experience over the years. They are always on time, friendly and efficient but patient too. We just finished a couple of appointments, so this is a current review. I would tell anyone to call and leave a message for Dr. A if you have a negative experience before posting publicly. I believe it's more respectful to give them a chance to rectify a complaint first. FYI, it is a Historical building so there is no wheelchair ramp, bring a portable one :)

The…read morelast time I was at AMD my dentist was Dr Dao, a Black woman with a Caribbean accent who did exemplary work. I had a tooth that had broken and she rebuilt it with compound. It held for three years and then crumbled on Christmas Day a couple years ago. It took me some time to get an appointment because Medicaid was giving me problems. But I finally got in. The guy did two things: 1) He adjusted my dentures so they would fit without adhesive. 2) He told me the tooth needed a crown and my insurance wouldn't cover it. I should mention in passing that he never told me his name nor did he address me by mine. When I tried to explain what Dr Dao had done and ask him why he couldn't do the same as she had, he barked at me "I am not arguing with you." and he threw me out of the room. I've no idea if this was Nelson or someone else, but his behavior towards me was appalling and if that is what they call "dental care" they can keep it.

I called Dr Bronsky's office to see if they could see him and estimate repairs. They flat refused to see or schedule him. Not at all helpful, borderline rude. I later contacted Dr Kraut's office and the asst saw him immediately, but did not have the right tools to effect repairs, but gave us some dental wax as a temporary fix. Later, Dr Caruso's office did see him the next AM and ground down the sharp end and inspected the appliance. Neither office charged us for the effort and were friendly, cheery, and nice to my kid the whole time. Decide for yourself - who do you want to pay $5000 for braces to? Which office is going to schedule you in when there's a problem with your braces? The choice is yours - I am just reciting our experience with all 3 offices.

Real doctors know this when we take our promise oath to care. why do we bother to go to school if we don't practice what we learn. I work 35 years as a registered nurse and assist Dr for surgery and I never felt so offended and disrespected in my life. I called before time and honestly winter gave me problem with my car tires at a snow blizzard. I have a nurse to drive my car since I have drop wrist and foot. I can't risk her life either. I cancelled so that way at least someone else could use the appointments. I have serious medical issue and it's not easy for me to live. I also have an irregular heart when I cx my first appointment.
