When I returned to ask about it, I was told the item had supposedly arrived the day after my purchase and that they had tried to contact me. This was untrue--no call was ever made, and no item was ever delivered to the store. To this day, I have not received the item I paid for. My experience has been marked by misinformation and lack of accountability. I would not recommend this location based on how this situation was handled.

This is where I had a horrible experience.. I had difficulty trying to to have portions cleaned etc. Montage refused to repair the item that was insured. I told them if they couldn't repair it I would request a refund on my purchase of my warranty.. before I could finalize it, they went ahead and canceled it and forwarded me 147,00 .. I paid more for the warranty. I was very upset and disappointed. This was my first experience choosing this furniture store.. next time I will go with what I know. STAR!!

Today was my mom and I first time visiting an Ollie's store. We had a great time, at first. The…read morestore was clean, organized and there was a great selection of books. The problem came when it was time to check out. The guy on the first register from the checkout line to the left around 1:45pm on December 24, 2024 is the reason I am leaving this review. My mom and I were next in line to checkout and the other registers were occupied by other customers alsobchecking out. When the young cashier guy finished ringing up his customer instead of checking us out next, he walks off and pretends to busy himself with something which was very obvious he didn't want to ring up anyone BUT when the next register opened up and my mom and I walked to the next cashier he immediately went back to his register to take the next customer behind us. At that moment it was extremely clear he didn't not want to ring us up for whatever reason but that was extremely rude! I don't want to say race was a part of it but I can't think of any other reason he choose to intentionally not ring us up when we had the same amount of items the customer he helped before and after us had. This really messed up our first time experience at Ollies. The cashier lady to the right side we ended up going to was very nice and signed my mom up for the Ollies Army rewards. After we left I called and spoke to the manager, I think his name is Mike or Michael. I explained what just took place and he was very nice and said he will run the cameras back and also notify upper management. We appreciate him for hearing our concern and not dismissing us. Hopefully the cashier takes a customer service course or finds a new job where he free to be rude else where. This was very upsetting to be treated the way we were and it being obvious in plain sight. Hopefully a real consequence for the young boy comes out of it.

We have bought from Star for over 20 years and have not had issues until now. We decided to replace…read moreour living room furniture as just a refresh since we have had our other set for so long. It was all delivered last Thursday. I checked for visual damages and didn't see anything. One of the items we bought was a large ottoman. We had put it to the side and hadn't used it in the following days, but on Monday (just four days after receiving it), we had people over and my daughter who is in elementary school sat down on it and the leg broke! Upon examination, the wood panel underneath which held the two legs in one side had completely split. When we called to report that our new, used once ottoman had broke and requested a replacement, they said it wasn't their problem. We should have had someone sit on each and check that the pieces weren't going to break on us when it was delivered!! We have to use our warranty which we purchased separately. So now we can't even use a piece of furniture that we literally bought less than a week ago and used once. Completely unacceptable for how much we are paying for the furniture in the first place! Depending on what happens and whether it is remedied, we may not be buying from Star again if that is the quality and how they handle customer satisfaction.
