Word to the wise: DO NOT LEASE WITH AARON'S MIDWEST CITY!! 2/28/25 They showed up back up unannounced with a loaner for us that surprise surprise - doesn't work! Going on week 3 with no working machine. 2/27/25 Updated review as we continued to have issues with this location: Our leased washing machine malfunctioned and flooded our garage (started in its own and never stopped filling, no one was even home) on 2/13, so naturally we called for a service repair. We were told we were scheduled for a pick up the next week Monday or Tuesday (2/17 or 2/18) and that a loaner would be brought to us when they picked up our unit. Winter storms occurred Monday and Tuesday causing an understandable delay, so I called to reschedule our pick-up and loaner replacement for the following week and was told we would be brought a loaner Monday or Tuesday (2/24 or 2/25). After 3pm on Tuesday 2/25 I called again to get an estimate of when they would be at our home with the loaner, only to be told NO ONE had rescheduled us at all. They could "squeeze us in" for a loaner on Thursday 2/27. Now today, 2/27, they have shown up to my house with no replacement loaner, and no intention to pick up my unit for repair. They took a video of what it was doing and left us with nothing. It has been two weeks of run around with us being unable to do our kids laundry without going to a laundromat and paying on top of paying for units we cannot use. Can't get this lease paid off fast enough to be finished dealing with these people! Original: 10/2023 Leased a brand new washer/dryer set and was given a faulty dryer right out of the box. Going on two weeks unable to wash my kids clothes at home and having to call every single day, because I am continuously promised "someone will come out tomorrow... someone will call you back in a few minutes...." They have spent a grand total of 3 minutes at my home to say "huh never had that one before" before leaving us with no dryer at all yesterday, just a promise to bring me a used one. If I could rate this establishment a 0 rating I would, as they, frankly, do not deserve even 1 star rating. Complete garbage, this store. When I got my delivery for my washer/dryer my washer had a fat scratch right across my functions area. I let it go because I am just excited to have my own washer/dryer that isn't an old piece of crap that doesn't make my clothes smell after a wash. Purchase a Samsung French door fridge, drivers deliver it again with another scratch across the stainless steel. Call the store this time, told to take pics and to text to such and such number, so that they could be sent to corporate; 1 week goes by, nothing. 2 weeks go by, nothing, 3 weeks go by, nothing, month goes by, nothing. And to add insult to injury with this fridge, and the only reason I bought it? I was told it was a "floor model" that was still wrapped in plastic do I will only be paying, iirc, $88ish. First payment goes out? $166 and change. Please do not use this store. Do not listen to the ratings of those rating this store 3 or more as I firmly believe it's either staff or friends of staff. The staff lie to make sales, their delivery drivers obviously suck. And their staff WILL lie to you. Shop this store at your own risk. read more

Rude, unprofessional, no actual customer service, 20 min late and no courtesy call!!! The star given is for the real MVP the refrigerator because it the only thing that did its job!! I don't know the names of people who work here, I've dealt with women and men. All of them have been rude. I got a refrigerator from them when I first moved here in March 2018. I paid monthly and was set up on AUTO PAY before I left the store by what was supposed to be a manager of the store. My payment comes due and I get a phone call that I'm late on my payment, I explained that couldn't be possible because the manager set me up on auto pay. The woman told me my card was declined and was rather rude in her tone. I informed her she was wrong again because there was plenty of cash in my account to cover a $60 payment from them. She argued with me. Finally I told her if she was gonna be rude she could come pick up the fridge. I asked her what card number they had on file..... THEY put my card number in wrong and they didn't even apologize for how they were acting when I pointed it out. Now its October 2018 and I just returned it because they could never tell me how much I still owed. They'd just tell me how many payments I had left (yes I know it's simple math, point is a customer asks for a balance the store gives it, they don't tell YOU to figure it out by multiplying). On the way out of my house they didn't use a dolly, they got the floor wet (carpet) by trying to pick it up like a couch, they hit my door and my porch light. Went there in November to get an Xbox 1 was told a six month same as cash would be 380 and that's what we went with, called back about 2 months later to find out how much was left and they cancelled the 6 months same as cash without our knowledge or even a warning and new payoff was 460 paid a month and now new payoff is 480 this place is a scam ruining Aaron's name as they aren't owned by corporate they can do this without Aaron's themselves saying or doing anything if you call them read more

They call me every month because they say I am late. I am set up on ezpay (auto pay). They harass me every month. Going in to talk to a manager today if that doesn't work I will be calling corporate, and make a formal complaint. I have rented from Aaron's many times in the past and bought several items from them. I have never been treated like this. This location doesn't know what the hell they are doing. read more

From the look of the reviews mine falls right in line. I called 3 days ago and spoke to a man, told him that I saw a bedroom suite online that I would like to surprise my mom. I told him that I live a 9 hour drive away from her. She does not have to pay anything I would be taking care of this total in 4 months because I wanted the same as cash option. He told me to go online to apply and etc. I went online yesterday completed everything paid the payment and got the documents. I called the store hoping to get the gentlemen and told him what I had done. Instead I get another guy that told me that I would need to drive down 9 hours when they come to be there. I am like are you serious you have all of my information and her information. He then begins to say you could be faking we don't know. He said call the 800 number to see if they could add her name on the file because they can do it. Called the 800 number for the online dept and waited about 5 mins and then they told me to call back and speak to someone else because this guy was not telling the truth. I call back and he answers again I ask to speak to the general manager he says he is not going to be able to do nothing different than I did and I have worked at 3 stores. Puts me on hold and said that I went to ask the general manager and he said that you can just cancel the order no biggie to us. I was floored with that I can just cancel the order. I told him that is the poorest customer service I have experienced in a long time he then said just call the BBB and then he hung up the phone. I called the 800 number back and canceled my order as I will never give my money to any company that allows their employees to treat customers as such. Went to this store twice today, to see about getting a laptop. The first time was around 3:30pm and customer service was lacking. We did although decide to go ahead and get laptop there but had to go pick someone up so told them we would be back. The reason we had decided to go ahead and go threw Aaron's was because when we looked online to see if they had any deals there was a $5 to start promotion. We went back up to the store about 6:00 and got help almost immediately, we were told that we needed to do application so we did and 10 min later that was completed. When we looked around for further help one of the workers seemed to be having a personal conversation with someone and never gave word that someone would be with us shortly. She did look at us several times with no apology for the wait, When the gentleman came back he started to help us and when my husband asked about the $5 promotion, he stated that was online only. Even after the bad experience and lack of customer service we were going to order online only to discover that it was indeed for in-store or online. Will not do business with this store because of the inconsideration and lack of customer service. Only one star would have been no stars but would not let me submit without choosing. read more

The staff and management in this store are so rude that it's a wonder that they have any clientele at all! Andrea feels like she can bully a payment out of the clients no matter what they may have going on that might be more important than a furniture payment at that moment. They tell you when you are signing the paperwork that as long as you stay in contact with them that it won't be an issue but that is a LIE! They just want to hound you with multiple phone calls a day, call you a liar, or threaten to send people out to your house (even if noone is going to be there except minor children which is against the law) to pick up whatever you are buying. I DO NOT RECOMMENDED THIS STORE AT ALL FOR ANY REASON!!! Go to Con's for your rent to own stuff, it's better quality and the staff is MUCH nicer and professional!!! read more

I ordered something online on Nov 14. I still haven't received it. I got a call from a really nice guy saying it arrived damaged so they're going to send it back and contact me when it gets in. As of today, Dec 22, I've heard nothing. I can't even get online chat to get me an answer. The first time I dealt with Aarons, it was great. This time, though, is a huge disappointment. read more

I started renting from them in April 2011. I have never used them before and paid my bill monthly. On September 1st, I called the office to pay my bill over the phone. The gentlemen told me I could pay half the bill then and pay the balance on the 15th. He mentioned no other fees or charges that would be associated with the half payment. I agreed and paid half the bill. When I received the bill for the 15th, I noticed an additional $5 fee. I called the office and spoke with Jerry. I asked him about the additional $5 fee. He stated that he would waive the fee and I then paid the bill. Since there had been confusion, I decided to pay my full bill (like I had previously done) on October 1st. I then got another bill around October 14th stating that I had an additional $16.00 due. Again, I called the office to find out why they wanted the extra. I spoke with Marcus. He explained to me that the first person I spoke with (I didn't get his name) and Jerry should have told me that there would have been additional fees by me paying biweekly. I explained to Marcus that I didn't believe this was fair since that was the responsibility of the employees to inform the customers of this. Marcus even mentioned that Jerry along with other employees with their company had been terminated because of giving customers misleading information. He also acknowledged that what was done to me was wrong. But he refused to refund me. So, I had to pay for this company's error. It's not the $16, but the principle. Bottom line...I don't recommend this company. Try Rent-A-Center or another company. The customer service leaves much to be desired. read more
