On Friday 3/15/24 I called Discount Locksmith to inquire about getting a key fob placed on my car…read more They told me that they could do it and proceeded with pricing. I was told $195 to come to them & $245 if they had to come to me. I chose to go to them. The guy called me back and advised me that they didn't have a key and would have to order one for me, but would then have to pay $245, which is no problem. On Wednesday 3/20/24 I go to the place to have the key fob placed on my car. Well come to find out the key can't be put on the car. I was told to go to the dealership and ask them to do something as far as the computer on the car(idk), and if they couldn't do anything to call back. Well I did that and they couldn't do anything. I called the guy back to let him know. I ask him "since your not able to do anything and they can't either , what am I supposed to do", he tells me "well I cut the key, so it's not anything I can do with it ", I tell him that I PAID $245 FOR A SERVICE THAT WAS NOT DONE, mind you I paid $245 5 days before my service was even done. He says I could give you $45 dollars back because the key was over $180. Which to me doesn't make sense. Not calling him a liar , it just doesn't add up, being that I was told $195 or $245 which is a $50 difference, why wasn't I told higher. I asked for the paperwork on the key fob. I then proceeded to look for that key and still haven't came across one that was over $180. So I lost $245 and got a key fob I can't use. That sucks & didn't get the $45 either.

The first company I called couldn't help me but directed me to Southern Safe & Lock LLC. Their locksmith showed up within an hour and had me back on the road within an hour and a half. He was professional and the service was affordable for the labor and skill involved. On Monday, someone found my original key and key fob, but it had been deprogrammed. Southern Safe & Lock LLC met with me Wednesday night after I got off of work to reprogram the original key FOR FREE! I should also add that they met me after normal business hours when they were on their own way home, and patiently waited for me as I made my way through Bayway wreck traffic. I feel very taken care of by Southern Safe & Lock and would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone I know!

We had been having issues with our garage door for probably 6 - months, and I could never figure…read moreout how to fix the problem myself. Lucky for us I saw a Garage Door Rescue truck in the parking lot at Publix. I called the number 251-621-6622 and spoke to the owner (she owns it with her husband Brandon - I cannot remember her name.) She was absolutely fantastic. She asked me questions and insisted I check to make sure there was not an issue I could fix myself, even telling me what to look for and told me to cancel the service call I had scheduled if I was able to get it working. When I scheduled the appointment I was given NOT a 4 hour window, or a 3 hour window, or a 2 hour window. I was given a 1 hour window and Brandon showed up right on time. He told me exactly what he was going to do and what I could expect. He was able to fix the problem and it still be covered by the $100 service call fee. He also did extra service that was still covered by the initial fee. We were so impressed and please with the service we received. They do a great job. I learned he has been doing this for over 10 years (I believe that is what he said), and his father has been in the business for over 35 years.

What I loved…read moreabout Bryan at first was he knew from my post that we were looking to move to Alabama from NC and never told me he was a realtor which was so refreshing because the minute you post anything about moving the realtors come out sending you all their info. I found out on my own and started talking to Bryan about what we were looking for. He kept in contact with us for over a year and when we went back to look at homes to buy he showed us not only the homes we wanted to see but other homes that he thought I might like but overlooked. He got us the house we really wanted with the price we wanted as well. He made this whole experience so easy. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking in the Mobile or surrounding areas.
