Had no power to garage door opener on Saturday, Sept. 19. Waited until Sunday to discover that the…read morespring had become so weak that the door would not stay up on its own. I called Precision on Sunday Sept. 20 and they were here first thing Monday, Sept. 21. Aaron was the diagnostician. The opener motor apparently was struck by lightning. He diagnosed the issue and called for a repair person, Dwayne, who was here before noon. Both were very competent and answered questions freely and completely. The rail for the belt drive was the wrong length, which was replaced with the correct one along with a new motor. Also had new rollers installed. The door was the quietest it had been in a long while. However, a strange, loud noise and squealing ensued. After a few days of this we decided to call Precision. They promptly sent Dwayne back to trouble shoot the problem. After several minutes he had the problem correctly diagnosed and he made appropriate adjustments to correct it. We would rate Precision and both technicians tops and would readily recommend this company.
