I just bought a house in Mobile and Imperial came my way via a recommendation. Setting the appointment was easy and the work was done properly. My only issue is that they forgot to do one door and when I called back to let them know, they came back quickly to complete the job. My only issue is the in addition to charging for the door, they charged me a second service fee of $45 which is half the rate that I paid initially. I just felt that I was very clear that I wanted all the doors re-keyed and the fact that I was charged a 2nd service fee was not right. I did express it to the technician but he said that was their policy. Love and learn. read more

My son lost his car key and after searching the house for hours, I decided to call a locksmith to get an estimate in case we could not find the key after more searching. She asked my address and a couple of questions about the car, then gave me an estimate of $165. Note the foreshadowing- I gave her my address, which is in Theodore. Then she gave me the estimate. Ok, back to the story. When I called back later in the day to schedule an appointment, she told me there was an extra fee for coming to Theodore. I live at the same address I did 8 hours ago. She seemed like she was pleased when I told her I'd use another locksmith if they didn't honor their estimate. I guess they don't need our business. Imperial Locksmith. We lost our storage key so we had to get a locksmith. The lady I talked to was nice and informative. The technician she sent us was there on time. He was friendly and knowledgable. The only downside I had was he wasn't wearing a mask. I know that some people don't really care about COVID now but I think business owners should still impose safety precautions. read more

I called imperial locksmith after I found them on google and a woman picked up. She was very courteous and dispatched a person to come unlock our car door. (My mother in law left her car keys accidentally in the car.) the car locksmith came and it only took them about 15 minutes to come. Took 2 minutes to unlock and they quoted us $65. Not bad! I have had to use them for several emergent unlocking's . The first experience I had with this company was to change the locks on my rental property. I called and the person that answered the phone was very kind, sympathetic, and understanding of my dilemma. I needed to have the locks changed immediately on my rental property due to a negligent and irresponsible tenant. The company sent out a service technician within about 30 minutes to re-key all the house locks. The technician was courteous, showed up on time and completed the log changing within about 30 minutes. I could not believe the pricing was so unbelievably fair. The second time that I had a chance to call a locksmith, I called Imperial Locksmith. Once again, dispatch was very friendly, polite and very knowledgeable about what I needed to have done. I am a grocery delivery person. On this particular instance, I had just loaded a customers groceries into the back of my vehicle, closed the back of my vehicle and locked my keys inside. People do it all the time, but my main concern was that I had a customers groceries in the back of my vehicle. Hands down, AMAZING professional experience! After reading the reviews on the competitor (PAL) and its negative comments, I was happy I found Imperial. Just purchased a home in AL. I just so happened to see the Imperial van leaving my neighborhood and instantly called the number on the van. I was scheduled for the next day with no problem. Dwayne the locksmith called and was able to actually meet me earlier than than the scheduled time, which I appreciated. It took him around 45 mins to rekey 6 locks. We recently moved to Mobile and purchased a home. I wanted to get the locks and keypad codes changed ASAP. Joseph from Imperial Locksmith answered my call. He was on time, nice and did a great job. He presented options for reducing the number of keys needed and reprogrammed all the key pads. He was at my house for a little over an hour, and I was very pleased with the low price. I felt for the level of service I received it could have been more......happy it was not. If you ever get locked out of your car in Mobile, Imperial Locksmith is as good as it gets. They said they would be there in 45 minutes, and in 45 minutes, they were there. They said the guy who was coming would call me, and he did. 4 hours earlier, I had called another locksmith who was going to be there in 10 to 20 minutes, and that the guy would call me and they never called and never came.
