I purchased bedroom furniture for my 19 year old daughter who has her own home. Two guys delivered the furniture. One was in his 40's and the other in his 20's. After spending time in my daughters bedroom and home assembling the furniture they left, or so she thought. A few minutes later the younger one knocks on the door. He said "I apologize in advance for what I'm about to say but old guy out by the truck wants your phone number". She was horrified. She expressed concern to me because they know where she lives and have been in her bedroom. She is so scared because Badcock only delivered part of her order. Some of the purchase was on back order and still needs to come. She does not want them to come back to her house! My husband called the store and spoke to the manager Bri. She was not helpful and combative. She said the delivery guys denied doing that. How shocking! Of course they did dummy. Bri apparently couldn't handle this so my husband found the owners phone number. We learned that they DO NOT do background checks on their delivery people. Basically anyone can get the job. Rapist, thieves, criminals, they wouldn't know because no investigation is done to people they have come to your homes!!!! I called corporate and they were very nice but at this point the damage is done. They promised me they older guy would not be coming to the home for the second part of the delivery. It really doesn't help seeing that they don't do background checks. The owner promised they would do background checks on the guys that delivered the furniture. We are still waiting on those results. This was eye opening to me. I should of asked more questions. I should not trust companies to do the right thing. I see my fault in this and learned my lesson to not blindly trust a company.

When Thursday came they didn't show up all day and I had to go to the store to find out what was going on. They ended up coming that Thursday and brought me a dresser that had three broken drawers. I called the next day and they told me they would send someone to fix on Monday. Monday rolls around and the manager come with no tools to fix it and tells me that the drawer were broken as if I didn't know that already. I had to call the store again ad the said that it would take till next Monday to get another one. Thursday of that same week comes and they could come with a notification of 10 minutes before delivery they brought another dresser that was warped, unwraped and had a giant hole in the back of it. Till this day my problem is unresolved and I will never buy anything from this business again. The customer service is outrageous and they worst communication than a newborn.

We were out of town and came back to find our freezer door stuck shut with excessive ice buildup, which he defrosted using a steamer, found the defective part, had his colleague stop by the store to pick up and drop off the part, while he kept working at melting the frozen ice away. He was very polite and gave us clear explanations every step of the process, cleaned up the entire area where he worked, and even wiped down the outside of the refrigerator, Lol.
