My family and I have gone there to get a couch and love seat but everytime you pull in the back to park there are lots of people hanging out in the back there and try to sell you drugs! They have a lot of people just hanging out by their dumpsters too. I will not be bringing my kids anywhere near this store. They have a new management sign out front...was that to say they were going to fix this issue? 3 tries and we are done. This business is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. If I could give them Zero Stars I would. I was assisting my nephew pick up an appliance even though I was experiencing severe health issues. I had to use the bathroom. I was a few steps away as it was just off the show room floor just inside the back storage area. An employee told me I absolutely couldn't use the bathroom for safety reason. There were no safety issues as it was exactly one step inside the back area entrance. I explained I was in a crisis, had medical and health issues as well as stating it's against the law to deny customer bathroom access. Even if it were for employees only according to ORS 659A.413 Denial of access prohibited law in the state of Oregon. The best thing anyone can do is to go somewhere else. The worst thing is that it was the Regional Manager who I was talking with. A person who should know better. read more

Horrible customer service!!! Was told intially that i could provide proof of income AFTER I picked up my computer--I could email it. When I went into to pick up my computer I was informed I could pull up my POI on their computer via my bank account--SERIOUSLY?!!! Like I'm going to give my banking info out!! Terrible service!!!! After going through all their hoops I still couldn't get a laptop from them because they were too busy to do the reference check, (mind you I was one of two people in the store). So I told them forget it I'll go to rent a center where I've done business before. I get to rent a center and was informed that Aaron's called them and told them I'm just left there with a laptop in hand. DO NOT go to this Aaron's store. If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been asking the accounts Manager Bill for a statement of my account since April 14th, first I was told that they can not give me a statement showing my balance and payments but could give me a receipt then I was told by him several times that " It was going in the mail" I have yet to receive anything. I have been very patient, it shouldn't take 3 months to mail me a statement. This past Thursday I was told it was "In the mail" We live in the same city so it should have been here Friday, Saturday at the latest and again NO statement. I finally Emailed the accounts manager ONCE again and this is his response to me " I personally put it in the mail the other day. I am sorry I cant drop everything I have to do in my store to be at your beck and call but my job does not revolve around you only. I don't know why you don't have it but again I personally dropped it in the mail box. Bill Graves Accounts Manager" This was so unprofessional of him to respond to a customer in this manner especially a customer that has been asking and waiting for this statement for 3 months. The accounts manager and the store employees at this location are so rude and unprofessional. Unless you absolutely cannot live without whatever it is you are looking for and you have no other way than to make a contract with the devil I strongly advise NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. Do NOT pay in cash unless YOU SAVE EVERY RECEIPT. The one time we made a cash payment somehow we paid in full there but 2 days later we started getting harassing phone calls that we were 20.00 short. Although the problem was eventually resolved it still leaves a bitter taste in my opinion. Additionally, let me tell you that if you miss your payment date there's no 3 day grace period like they tell you when you sign the contract. On the date that payment is due they'll start harassing you with phone calls, and if you happen to be in another country and not answering your phone because it's almost 3.00 a minute, they can and will show up at your house within 24hrs of you not returning their phone call. You will also receive tons of emails weekly, and every time they are running a promotion they'll call you about it. So basically if you like to pay money to be treated like a flake...even if you have 6 months left on your contract and never been a week late...feel free to enter into a contract with them. Otherwise, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND GOING ANYWHERE ELSE. Rent a Center NEVER WAS HARASSING LIKE THIS. The staff changes often, so don't think that talking with anyone matters. read more

Best service from start to finish. I was looking to rent a mattress for house guests. I called the store and Jean was beyond helpful. Found the perfect mattress and perfect price. And the mattress was brand new! Was in and out in no time at all! The mattress was delivered when said, set-up and the delivery guys could have not been nicer. Just had the mattress picked-up and same excellent customer service. Best experience I have had in a long time. Could not be happier! I will definitely be going back to Aaron's in Hillsboro and would feel confident in recommending them to anyone! read more

We signed the contract first thing friday morning. They failed to deliver the same day, as advertised. We went there saturday morning and asked if we could pick the furniture up ourselves since they didnt deliver on weekends and we were moving into our apartment that day. We were turned away and had to sleep on the floor for two days. They finally showed up monday night at about 7:30pm. We asked if there was some kind of discount or compensation for the inconvenience, they said no way. After all of that great service, they asked to borrow my tools to assemble the furniture.
