    After spending several hundred dollars on an expensive older refrigerator with nothing being fixed…read moreby another company, I tried ED Service a couple of years later and was immediately impressed with the professionalism of their repairman Nick, his knowledge and his skills. He quickly identified the real problem and assured us we did NOT have to defrost the whole frig for several days in order to see if it would work properly. He and his company were very responsive about timing, and took full responsibility for needing to come back after finding during the first visit that a part would have to be ordered. Pricing was very fair even before that, but not charging for the trip or labor for the second visit was truly impressive. I should add that the part was ordered immediately and installed on the next business day. I am delighted to have everything fixed after two years and will call ED for any future needs and ask for Nick if he is available.

I was in…read moreneed of someone to fix our washing machine, but when I came across ED Services site and reviews I figured I would ask if they could look at my dryer and electric stove top too. I was so kindly greeted on the phone, clearly told what the price for a visit would be and an appointment was made same day. Washing Machine: Nick ran all the error codes on my washer to figure out what the problem was and discovered it was simply a leaky door seal. His honesty was refreshing. Dryer: I was worried the lint was incredibly backed up and needed to be cleared. Also our vent hose had come off and needed to be re-attached. Again, with quick precision Nick completely dis-asembled our dryer, vacuuming out the dust, dirt and debri that had collected inside. He washed and dried the drum and re-attached the hose. He cleaned the entire vent hose and inside of the dryer free from lint. Electric Stove Top: a year or so ago two of the burners stopped working. We figured with the stovetop being 25 years old it had just gotten old. Nick inspected the entire system and discovered the two burners had gone out because a short had occurred and burned up where the electric chord connects to the control panel. Because of the age of our stove top he said he and his office would try and track down a replacement control panel and once they did they would reach out to let us know. I was so impressed by the honesty and hard work ED Services offered. His patience and friendliness also put me at ease. We will absolutely be calling them out again for any other appliance issues, should they arise.

At one point they were getting in the beautiful Blue pine V board that I love so much, but it goes quickly. So I asked if they can order it for me and they can order it, when it's available. Well, turns out, it's not available that often so I only got enough to do one small guest room in Cottage #1 The other thing that is super annoying about this HD is they don't have a tool rental department. If you want to rent a piece of speciality equipment you have to go to Sherman for that. So that is where we go mostly. We go to Sherman. Their Home Depot is better & has a equipment rental. We only use this small location for little things and lawn care/nursery.

I was told they would be installed in June 2025. Come July I called them to ask where my windows were and learned that the windows were not ordered. I paid for the windows and installation in March 2025. They called in October 2025 and scheduled installation. They did not send all the parts so they couldn't install the front window. When they brought the windows one double on the front was not the right size. The window in the back had the wrong grid pattern and another back window was not built correctly. It was a 50/50 window and was supposed to be a 9 over 6. Another 3 month wait. They brought new glass for the back window and installed the other back window. This time the grid pattern did not match on the back window and the front window did not fit again. Another 3 month wait. They brought new glass for the back window and finally that was right. when they went to install the front window it did not fit again. Another 3 month wait. They brought the new front window again and it did not fit. Another 3 month wait. We are into March 2026 now (1 year later) and the job is not completed. They brought the rebuilt front window again the first week of June 2026 and it did not fit again. Each time the window was remeasured by the installation crew. It will soon be a year and a half after I paid for the windows and I still don't have the largest window in the front of the house. I called the rep the day the installers were here and he has yet to return my call. I am not sure Home Depot is able to complete the job at this point. If someone from corporate reads this I would appreciate you contacting me and tell me what to do. I just want my windows that I paid for over a year ago. I am a patient person but this is a nightmare.

    My grandmother bought a couch from Knights and the FIRST couch was delivered broken. They sent a…read morereplacement..and while it was being unloaded of the truck, the couch was ripped at the bottom. When my grandmother noticed the tear (it was on the bottom...she noticed it while looking for a lost item) she called the store to see about getting it fixed and was given contact information to some woman that works there. Never got her name. My Granma was texting this woman back and forth from JULY TO SEPTEMBER and was not given an answer until the end of September. She text numerous times..I went through the texts myself. She kept asking if something was going to be done about the couch, she just needed an answer and this woman told her atleast five times that she would call her the following day..and she never did. She gave my grandmother excuses that family members were having health issues, my grandmother asked if there was someone else she could speak with..no answer. My grandmother was extremely nice, even checked in about this unknown woman's family WHILE HER OWN HUSBAND WAS DYING IN THE HOSPITAL FROM LUNG CANCER. She was finally told that she would be responsible for half of the repairs for the couch even though the damage was done by their delivery guy. Which is crazy but that's not the main issue. The issue is that it took so long to get some kind of resolution. I have all the texts from this unknown employee. We all have sick people, if she could not handle this one customer issue she should have found someone that could.
