    Last year my Father who is in his late 80s made an appointment to have some computers looked at by…read morethe geek squad. He went in at his appointment time to have them looked at and was told he didn't have an appointment. He explained it was difficult for him to make the trip but was told that they couldn't help him. He explained he had an appointment but they didn't care. He asked to talk to a manager but when the manager came out he also didn't care and told my elderly father that he was being difficult and that he was the problem. Some time later I went in to talk to the manager but was told he wasn't in. I left a message for him explaining that if he didn't call and apologize to my father that both my father and I would cancel our subscriptions that we had had for years. After I got no response for several months I called the corporate headquarters to complain and cancel my subscription to geek squad. Corporate claimed to be appalled at the treatment my father had recieved and promised to address the problem and get back to me. Now again after several months of no response I am writing this review. This is a terrible company that doesn't care about their customers and treats the elderly with disrespect and contempt. I highly recommend customers take their business elsewhere. If there where a no star or negative star rating I would mark that.

I got home only to find the double paned slider had a broken jagged pane missing. I called to inform them it was the wrong slider and I would return it. They said ok. I drove down gave them the door looked around and couldn't find another complete door. They refused to refund me for the door despite not having another complete slider. I said I couldn't find anything else yet they refused to refund me accusing me of buying the broken door knowingly. They were rude and unwilling to refund me. They offered instore credit but they had nothing I could use. I'm in my 70s and I spoke with the owner and he said too bad he couldn't return my money. I've never been treated so poorly and they didn't care I live 21/2 hours away. Most of the inventory is in bad shape and they want top dollar. I pleaded with them to return my money but they insisted in store credit only. They knowly sold a broken door to an elderly man who drove five hours round trip and to returned it and refused to make it right. i Would be very Leary of their underhanded business practices. Doc

Prospective customers would be far better served patronizing Home Depot, where the standard of customer service is demonstrably more attentive, responsive, and professional. As it stands, Lowe's has lost not only my business but also my confidence in its operational integrity. My concerns are not abstract but grounded in a deeply unsatisfactory experience involving an associate identified as Daniel. His conduct--especially as a current representative of the company--was markedly unprofessional and indicative of broader systemic issues within the store's customer service culture. A customer was left waiting an inordinate 45 minutes merely to receive assistance unlocking a secured display case for cameras. Such a delay is not only unreasonable but reflects a troubling disregard for basic service expectations. More concerning still was the associate's directive discouraging the use of the customer assistance button--an essential mechanism designed to facilitate timely support. This instruction is both counterintuitive and emblematic of a dismissive attitude toward customer needs. Lowe's must take immediate and substantive steps to address what appears to be a breakdown in accountability and professionalism among its staff. Without meaningful intervention, such patterns risk eroding customer trust on a broader scale. I intend to document and share this experience through formal reviews to highlight the deficiencies in service encountered, and I will be escalating this matter to corporate channels in the interest of ensuring it receives the attention and corrective action it warrants.
