Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I called the store several times and it went unanswered...during their open hours... then I went online to their chat which said that I should just go into the location. I didn't do that since I used them twice before at the location and I thought they would pull up my customer record and save some time in ordering. So when I called I spoke to someone who was helpful and quoted me a price for a new bedroom set for my guest room. He suggested that I come in right away to make sure that the items would be there for delivery on Tuesday. So I left work with a co-worker in tow and came into their store. When I walked in a guy who looked like he was mad at the world greeted me. I told him what I was doing, that I am a repeat customer and I spoke to someone already who said they would put my order in and for me to just come in to sign everything. He told me to come to the counter with him. I did. When we got to the counter a contractor came in front of me and he told me to wait. HOW RUDE! The guy he was talking to just wanted to see if his location was having a plumbing problem because the neighbor was. So THAT is why I was bumped while being helped... but that is petty so let's move on... just saying that at this point he is mad at the world AND not helping customers... ME! So when I got to the counter he proceeded to tell me the items were not all in stock. I explained I spoke to a person here and he said he didn't care... they were not in stock. I told him MAYBE the reason why they are not in stock is because the I guy I spoke with is holding them for me. He said he didn't care. I saw only one other guy there and I asked him if he could ask that guy and he said no. Every interaction was met with more and more uncaring and pretentious tone. I explained maybe he could pull up my last transactions and he said no. He didn't care about that. WOW. I said maybe the guy at this store I spoke with put a note in my file because while on the phone that guy said he would AND he pulled up my accurate account. Again he said literally that he didn't care and then turned his computer screen to me and said "see its not in stock". Now at this point this jerk upset me sooo much with his total lack of caring and customer service I was raising my voice. I told him that I want to speak to someone, ANYONE else other than him and then he told me to get out. GET OUT? So if you think being a repeat customer means anything think again. If you think being a current customer means anything, think again. I will NEVER EVER use these guys again. Oh by the way I went , after leaving there, to American Home Furnishings and got the bedroom group including a few more things. Sure I spent $2600 which to me was cheap AND they are going to deliver the furniture in 2 days ... on Sunday... and gave me EXCEPTIONAL service. So please, do NOT use Aarons. Not because of my experience. Because it is clear... the owners passion is gone. They hire people who should be perpetually unemployed and they really don't want your money. VOTE WITH YOUR DOLLARS!!!! The rep who needs to be fired is "Ramone" and guess what... this guy is the MANAGER! Oh yah read a review on Google from Rebecca...she had the same experience so it looks like they really don't care and want you to jump thru hoops until they LISTEN TO THEIR CUSTOMERS and fix it. You guys at Aarons think we are lying? You think we should send you emails? No...wait... I have a better solution... I'll shop elsewhere and enjoy watching you close your doors. Boo... incompetent managenent lied to me over the phone to get me into the store.... bad service.. :( I used to like Aaron's and am sad to see the standards they have now. The staff was clueless at best when I walked in and I finally found the manager. The staff looked high so i doubt they do drug tests its probably all drug induced customer service reps helping you lol.... you will get the aarons quality of service ;( the manager introduced himself as Ramon and quickly guided me to the cash register while deflecting all my questions. Horrible service. I placed a large order then got called in a very confrontation manner by the general manager accusing me of lying on my application because I listed my mailing address and not my delivery address. I told him his accusations and attitude were unnecessary and asked for an apology but only got more confrontation. I cancelled my order if a bedroom and living room set and will never return. I've had better experience at rent-a-center in the past. read more

I was supposed to have a Tuesday delivery they came at 11:00 am instead of the 3:00 pm agreed time. They said they couldn't get washer n dryer inside door not wide enough after I personally had taken out the old ones before. So then I rescheduled for Saturday 11/00 am I switched shifts to accommodate them then 11:00 came n went so I called them back they said it was gonna be delivered between 11-5:00 it's now 5:52 pm but Pryor to this posting I called Aarons to see what time they would acually be here they said 2/30 pm so I told my boss if I could come in at 3:09 pm he said fine 3:00 rolled around I was suspended for 3 days for calling off at the last minute I have a disabled 29 year old that needs washing and he can't be up to open door for them and I wasn't able to find help at the last minute I'm lucky if I don't get fired and with Covid n all it's hard getting a decent paying job read more

My frig went out the day after I did all my shopping for Thanksgiving and the day of my family arriving from Texas with small children. At 6pm the technician finally came and let me know that it was not an easy fix. At this point I knew I needed to rent a refrigerator until mine could be repaired. While the lady I spoke to on the phone was not helpful at all she kept saying that she would call me back to let me know what was available. After three phone calls and no call back I finally just went to the store. I chose a refrigerator in three minutes flat and was filling out paperwork and joking that I would love to have it delivered that night as all my stuff was in coolers. I was told that the delivery drivers had gone home. Which is reasonable considering it was now 715 at night. However, the gentleman that was there came back over to me and said, I'm just going to deliver it for you tonight myself. Nothing could have made me happier! I went from there to the airport and the young man was at my house before I even got to the airport! I can not remember his name but add it when I find out. He was compassionate and extremely empathetic to my situation. I don't know about the whole store but I would definitely do business with this young man again! Ps maybe his name was Ramon? Worst customer service!! first they refused to give me my contract then sent me a contract I could not read because the ink ran out. I started service with them in January didn't get my contract until March. I am apart of Aarons club and they refuse to fix my laptop every time I call for service they tell me they have no techs and hang up. I have gone to the location hoping to get better service and still get turned away. I have never experienced this type of service in my entire life. they purposely tried to lock me into a contract for 12 months when I was trying to pay off my item. They told me I never paid but I had screenshots of my payment from my bank then they told me various amounts that I needed to pay in order to pay out. I paid 156 and the total of same as cash was 199.99 they tried to charge me 98, 88 then 66 then told me a regional manager would call me. no one ever called I got rude responses by multiple reps. I even got a call from the person I spoke to for over 30 minutes asking for payment the very next day. I told him I spoke to him already and he said " I didn't make notes on the accounts what's even your issue?" I said are you serious he said " I don't know what to tell you I didn't" I will never go through this company again. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!! read more

Most helpful in the last week-Edit I leased a high end washer, dryer and refrigerator that cost me $400 per month. The original washer and dryer wasn't working so they came out to replace it. When they picked it up, they guys they sent didn't drain it properly and it leaked bleach all the way down the stairs and out the front door. I showed them immediately and they apologized. I called the store and talked to the general manager, Steve. To make a long story short, 6 months later, I am still waiting for the carpet to be replaced. The general manager is extremely unprofessional and rude. He told me I needed to get 3 estimates and hand deliver them to the store. When I asked why I should have to take time out of MY day and pay out of MY pocket to have companies come out and measure for this (minimum of $39 PER estimate) , he basically said "TOUGH...not my problem". He likened this "accident" to a CAR ACCIDENT in which "people are inconvenienced" When I told him this is not at all like a car accident, he snickered and could not have cared less. Their insurance company (Traveler's) has been VERY helpful and considerate. The agent has tried numerous times to contact Aarons general manager Steve and said that Steve was NOT returning his calls or emails. When I called Steve today, I relayed the information that I was given by the insurance agent... that Steve was not being responsive AND had given the agent incorrect information. Steve gave a date of the incident as February when it actually occurred 6 months ago. (Probably trying to cover for himself for dropping the ball on reporting it in a timely manner.) Steve actually YELLED and said 'DONT TELL ME WHAT I SAID TO THE INSURANCE!!" "WERE YOU THERE?" He AGAIN compared it to a CAR ACCIDENT and said "if this was a car accident, YOU would have to get estimates, YOU would have to be inconvenienced, YOU would have to WAIT" Then he went on to use my payment history (I was late twice) as a reason why I shouldn't be complaining about the way this was being handled. Are you kidding me??? I should have to live with bleach stained carpet from my front door all the way through my house because I was late making a payment??? I have never experienced such RUDE and UNPROFESSIONALISM by anyone that I am a paying customer of. I asked him to at least give me an idea of the next step in the process or some kind of time frame of when it would be handled. He said I would just have to wait and "it will be done when it's done" When I told him I was going to write a letter to their corporate office, he hung up on me. Of course I am no longer a customer of Aaron's due to STEVE and have returned all of my appliances, losing out on the hundreds of dollars I have paid so far. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AARON'S!!
