They appeared friendly and came to check out the washer within the first few days. They said a part had to be ordered and they'd come back. I paid my deductible, no issue. A week passed and I heard nothing. The following week I followed up and a lady told me the part had not arrived. I continued to follow-up and was told the week before Mardi Gras that the part was showing an arrival on Monday and that she would add me as the last stop on the schedule for Monday, if the part came early enough. But that they would schedule me for Wednesday, if it arrived later. No one showed up Monday or Wednesday. On Thursday morning, I called and the same lady told me she never said that. After much back and forth, I was told I could contact the warranty company to get my deductible back and have someone else complete the repairs. I called the warranty company and informed them and filed a complaint. I was told that if another company came out, I had to pay another deductible and there was no way to get my money back from Hamilton. I opted to allow Hamilton to complete the repairs. The lady began texting me and apologized and said the part would be in on the following Monday. I said that was fine. Monday rolled around, and I texted to check on the part and she did not respond. I texted every day that week, and two days I got no response, other days she kept saying it'll be here tomorrow. Finally on Friday, I asked if the part had a tracking number. I was told no....I asked how I kept being given an estimated arrival if there was no tracking number. She didn't answer my question but stated that the part had my name on it and was going to Hamilton's warehouse and then being routed to the local shop. A week later, I get a call from the repair man and he states the part is in and he'll be to my home on Thursday but that he will call by Wednesday and give me an approximate time. He did not call, so Thursday morning I called him. He didn't answer so I texted the number. He responded later saying I needed to call the warranty company and have them open a new claim and assign it to his company because the claim was over 60 days old and he can't get paid on a claim that old. I called the warranty company and was told the claim is open and it is not yet 60 days old. The warranty company called Hamilton and spoke with someone regarding this. I told the repairman this and he insisted I was wrong and stated he was not coming until I gave him a new claim number. I called the warranty company back again who insisted this did not need to be done, so they assigned a new company to repair the washer.
