In the midst of putting up the first painting, he literally packed up his tool bag and left after I kindly requested him to move the positioning a quarter inch to the right since it wasn't centered on the wall. Literally no conversation at all except, "I don't want to do this job." When I called the main number, the dispatcher apologized for the worker's behavior and offered an alternative handy person to stop by 2 days later. I was literally left speechless by this level of unprofessionalism - especially when the person is being paid by the hour and not a flat fee. Appreciate that the dispatcher took responsibility and was apologetic, and not defensive at all. However, having planned for more than a week and having moved work commitments for this, it's not acceptable.

I ordered a labor day special deal on a washing machine from Pc Richards. Having not received any call on delivery, I called this store a few days later, which told me that it was special order and needed to get "in the queue" and that it would take a couple of weeks to get there. I called two weeks later and was told that this was a special order and needed to be order. I was then told that because I checked through online, it wasn't going to be through the store. I called online and they told me to call the store. I called the store back and they told me that it was a special order and there were 11 people ahead of me, which would mean it would take a couple of weeks to get it. I was told at the time that I could buy another (more expensive) machine and get it delivered more quickly. I said I would wait for two weeks for my original order to be 2 weeks later, I had not received any call. I called the online store on a Friday and they told me I needed to call this local store. I didn't have time to follow up on that Friday so I called the local store on the next day (Saturday). I was then told I needed to call the online department. I called the online department and it was closed so I called to store again. The store told me they didn't have the order on file. I asked how long it would take to get the machine in, they gave me the same two weeks timeline as they had given me a couple of week earlier. At this point, I asked to cancel my order. They told me I would have to call the online store to cancel my order. I told them I was getting frustrated and would have to post a 1 star review if they didn't cancel my order. They told me they could do nothing about that. So this is the one star review. I'm going to buy my washing machine from somewhere and, though I've tried to support PC Richards for years because they are a local chain, I will never again buy from them. The quality of service in my previous experience was poor but I didn't post about it because it eventually resolved itself but this is the 2nd such bad experience in a row and I would not recommend this store any further.
