Have been completely obsessed with this place for years. I probably shouldn't tell the yelp world…read moremy secret. Ha. I always find awesome pieces here- large and small and always great quality! If you're looking for something special or to furnish a rental Property quickly and easily this is the spot. I bought a brutalist armoire cabinet here for $400? and Its valued at $1000+ beautiful solid wood piece. This is a great spot to stop in and walk around- you never know what you will find!!

If you're looking for resale furniture in the Chicago area, it's almost essential you visit…read moreJubilee, both their Carol Stream and Lombard locations. They have the largest selection by far, and most of what they accept is in good condition. There's always something interesting in their collection, which at any time has handmade, vintage, collectible, and other unique items alongside more conventional ones. The more desirable vintage and antique items won't be cheap, but they'll be cheaper than at a curated vintage or antique furniture shop. Jubilee isn't a thrift store, and in some cases their prices can be a bit high. Everything is final sale, so there's an element of "buyer beware," like most resale shops. They put the brand name on the price tag if it's a selling point, but not so much for cheaper brands. Once I purchased an item here, and when I got home I found the label and saw it was made in China by a low-end furniture company. I never would have paid as much had I known, so I felt a bit duped. However I still wound up going back as I never found as much furniture I liked anywhere else. And for what it's worth, the item has held up. Most of their service is provided by volunteers, who are nice, but some are more knowledgeable than others. To sum up, it's not perfect, but in a retail landscape where most new furniture is either flimsy "manufactured wood" or ultra-expensive high end brands, Jubilee helps fill an important gap for affordable quality furniture.

Do not, I REPEAT DO NOT purchase furniture from this company!…read more I purchased a section in November of 2021, I was told at that time the sectional I purchased would arrive late December of 2021 or early January of 2022. Early Jan rolls around and no sectional, I call and they now tell me late Feb. Late Feb rolls around and no sectional, they tell me early April. April rolls around an still no sectional, they tell me to check back in May. I call back in late May and they tell me early July. Early July rolls around and they tell me August. August rolls around and they tell me September at the earliest as they don't even have a container number assigned to my order yet. Now keep in mind it's been nearly 9 month and they have raised the price of this sectional on their website a couple times well over what I paid, it is now listed for nearly double the price I paid, this might explain why they had been pressuring me to cancel my order the last couple times I spoke with anyone. Jackie at the Aurora store is completely useless not to mention rude and unprofessional. I ended up finding a sectional elsewhere that was in stock so I cancelled my order. I was told it would take a week for my refund check because they said they can't credit it back to my credit card due to the length of time since purchase. I told them I would pick the check up from their Lombard Corporate location where the checks get cut, I didn't want to wait for it to arrive via snail mail. It's been a week today and now they are telling ,me it can take up 14 days. Please keep in mind they require full payment up front so they've held my money for 9 months interest free and continue to hold my money at the time I'm writing this. This company is nothing but a bunch of con artists. Absolutely terrible customer service! Month after month of lies and now they continue to lie even after I canceled my order. If you value your time and money I urge you to shop elsewhere. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

My biggest issue with Ashley was the lack of customer service. From purchasing the furniture I…read moreordered and not including everything as discussed to the delivery guys not providing "white glove" service, it's not an experience I would like to repeat any time soon. First, I asked the salesman if the order I placed could include felt cushions for the legs of the couch due to the floor in my home being very sensitive and easily scratched. The salesman obliged, but when the delivery team showed up, they told me they had never heard of Ashley offering felt cushions for any furniture. Only after repeated calls to the Homestore did I finally get through to someone that told me the cushions are available but that I would have to pick them up myself. Mind you, I don't live close to the HomeStore. Then when the delivery guys were setting up the couch, I asked them to move it a few inches to one side of the room because the path behind the couch was too narrow, and they said they wouldn't move it once it was already placed on the ground. So much for "white glove" service. When customer services contacted me to check how the delivery went, I informed them of these issues, to which they said they would look into it and get back to me, but I have still have not been contacted by them since. One star for the quality of furniture and delivering furniture as scheduled.

I ask what's their lunch hrs and I have been told they do lunch wherever they want. I ask for name of the person behind the counter or manager and the girl refuse to tell me her or manager name. Horrible!! I don't think I will ever buy here again.

All around poor experience... Starting with the back end of this transaction: I picked up a table…read more& chairs yesterday at Bob's warehouse in Shorewood. I drove back to my rental property where this would be used and assembled the table and chairs (as much as I could). When I finished with the table, I noted a large scratch and secondary, small scratch (too pics). Then, the two chairs had 3 left legs and 1 right leg (!). I reported these issues this a.m. via chat, which took well over 20 minutes. I gave up and called. A gentleman at their customer service center was able to send a replacement chair via Fed-Ex (5-8 days). That said, he indicated that I had to text pictures (not online or via call) to report the scratches. So, I was moving on to my 3rd method of contact for the day. I texted pics to the number provided, and ended up texting with the same person from the online chat. I was told I'd need to return the table at the warehouse (40 minutes away) and pick up a new table (borrowing a truck again). Their QC is apparently awful. This is what you get for "cheap" furniture. I'm currently texting with a rep who is telling me there's really nothing they can do and that I needed to open all the boxes while on the ramp (there was a car behind me impatiently waiting). Also, they ask for signature the moment the boxes are placed in your car-- there is no opportunity given for inspection upon pickup. More important, we all know that we simply expect orders to be right in the first place. I've ordered so much furniture in my life and really, I can't remember ever having an issue. The pick-up at the warehouse also wasn't smooth-- the address provided in communication send you to the truck entrance-- not a big deal, but you have to back-track 3/4 mile. Then, I was sent to the loading dock to pick up and I waited almost 10 minutes before anyone opened the door. I called (no other way to contact) and was told the dock staff was occupied (I wasn't told that 10 minutes prior when I checked in at their offices on the other side of the facility). Even the shopping experience wasn't great. I had a sales staffer that had approached upon entry and when I later approached her (after looking around the store for a few minutes), I was swarmed by 3 other sales employees. Does this tend to happen at other stores? Absolutely. That said, it usually isn't to this extent. It is hard to explain, but it reeked of an unprofessional environment. Update: I just ended this issue after over 90 minutes devoted to the this issue. They "agreed" to send the table to me... but, what an ordeal. Texting is not a reasonable method for handling anymore more than the most simplistic issue. Chats/text-based "customer service" is for when you really don't care about your customers. My advice? Go elsewhere

I wish I took photos of this place because it was huge, and I was in LOVE!…read more Connected through a warehouse there's a CB2 outlet, which has some pretty decent stuff, but the Crate and Barrel Outlet is what really made me excited. My boyfriend and I came in search of a couch, and they had so many options that were decently priced too. They had a double discount of 20% off then another 20%, which was generous! They had couches of all sizes, colors, and materials. We really wanted a couch with a chaise, but they only had couches with it on the left side, which I would say is the only downside of this outlet. Also, all of the employees are SO nice. The lady that helped us was amazing. I really wish I got her name! She was talking to us about the couch we originally wanted, but she showed us different options, gave us moving websites to get the couch delivered, and helped us figure out to my boyfriend's Crate & Barrel card on his phone because he didn't have it in person. They have a huge selection of appliances in the store and in the warehouse. A great place. It makes me excited to move out! I know where I'll be coming to get a new couch.

For some reason c&b think that charging store prices at an outlet is an ok thing to do. I've I wanted store prices, I'd just go to my local or order it from the privacy of my home. I also don't understand why they feel they can charge so much for such severely damaged furniture. I'm not sure the best carpenters could make this stuff look good, but you can hand over maybe msrp-10%. What a deal. Hopefully you can sense the sarcasm. It was the worst of scratch and dent I have ever seen. Even today, I'm trying to understand the business model that makes it all make sense. I'm struggling. If it were me, and I love c&b, pass on it. This places soils the name of Crate and Barrel for me
