Finally, after two different terrible dental experiences in Denver, I found an honest and…read moretrustworthy practice to patron. Rocky Mountain Dental Group was referred to me by my coworker whose husband has been going there for years, and she spoke very highly of them - I am glad I took her word! Due to the first unfortunate incident, I hadn't had my teeth cleaned in about a year - though all my life I've been diligent about visiting the dentist every 6 months - so when I went to my last dentist I was hoping to remedy the situation and get back on track. However, the hygienist supposedly diagnosed me with early periodontal disease and claimed I would need a series of "deep cleanings," which I found out would not be covered by insurance, and would cost me about $1200 over a years worth of cleanings. I never had any issues with my teeth, and neither the dentist or hygienist explained to me what my symptoms were or made any attempt to help me understand what they saw that led them to this conclusion. I was already skeptical after leaving so decided to call back and schedule a regular cleaning (since I didn't even get one while I was there) and they informed me I would be explained the dangers of refusing their deep cleaning treatments and have to sign a waiver of all responsibility if I didn't go through with it. Well needless to say that really made me question their motives, so I searched for a second opinion. Immediately when I called Rocky Mountain Dental Group they made me feel comfortable. The woman I spoke to was incredibly friendly and helpful, and even got my x-rays from the previous dentist with ease. I was able to get an appointment within a week of when I called. My hygienist, Dave, was wonderful - he almost immediately dismissed the idea that I had periodontal disease and explained to me exactly how to determine the symptoms of the disease via my x-rays. He conducted a thorough exam of my mouth and explained to me every step of the way what he was doing and why. He said his job is to educate his patients and I really appreciated that. I now feel like I can avoid being taken advantage of again with claims of periodontal disease. The doctor also examined my teeth and assured me that I had no issues to be concerned about other than some minor gingivitis. They didn't push any unnecessary procedures, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and went above and beyond in answering all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Dental Group and am so relieved I finally found an honest, smart, and responsible dental practice.

All of the staff are friendly, professional, and even take the time to educate you about the importance of oral health. Even better, appointments are readily available and easy to schedule. My husband started coming as well and says, "it's the best dentist I've ever been to!" My seven year old just went here for his first time after going to a kids' dentist previously, and says he can't wait to go back. So, I'm sold! Our family would all recommend this place!

Unfortunately it currently is scheduled a few weeks out, which is great, but it also conflicts with my work meetings and travel, so I hope I don't change my mind again and go a different direction. Dr. Druckman has truly changed my quality of life…read more The splint treatment has been working, and what surprised me most was not only the physical improvement, but the emotional one. Over time, I had quietly resigned myself to living with constant pain, discomfort, tension, and the subtle facial changes that can happen when your jaw is chronically misaligned. I had stopped realizing how much I had lost -- even simple things like comfortably putting on eye makeup or recognizing how much strain my face and body were under every day. For the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful. What I appreciate most is that this process has not just been about symptom management, but about helping me rediscover a level of comfort and normalcy I honestly thought was gone permanently. Healing can be emotional when you realize how long you have been surviving instead of living comfortably, and I'm deeply grateful for the care, patience, and expertise that helped me get to this point.

I just needed a small touch up from one that was a bit too low. He Guaranteed me that he could fix my bite. $3000 for a $150 bite guard that I was to wear for far too long to "get my jaw right". It was never not right, just a tooth a little too low. After that, instead of raising the one lower tooth, he took a dremel and ground my others down, making them sharp as razors so they constantly cut my tongue, and after too many visits to get it "right"--or even close to that, I gave up and cut my losses. I've filed them down myself with a nail file to prevent a ravaged tongue. And that was an additional $3000--$6000 up front for the whole deal--cash out of pocket. That was a couple grand more than the original 5 crowns to begin with. Not one day has gone by that I am not in pain and it has been years. I've been to 4 other dentists and none of them want to touch the problem now. I can no longer chew like one should, so many foods are taboo and most aren't chewed well, creating more problems. No grinding, like for salad. I can't even put my teeth together unless there is food to fill in the rough terrain. Like gravel on gravel. My only real mistake--going there in the first place. Nice guy--certainly. Occlusal specialist--not even close. I've few regrets in life--but this tops the list. I could drone on, but I needed to put this to rest here.
