Most of all, she is honest, was sensitive to my needs, and genuine. Ella assisted my husband and I with estate planning and took care of everything expeditiously! I couldn't have asked for better guidance in ensuring my family's future interests are protected for generations to come!

I recently contacted Ella for trust administration and family estate planning. After setting up an…read moreinitial call, she requested a digitized version of the trust so she could review it ahead of our Zoom meeting scheduled for a few days later. I scanned and emailed the documents as requested the next day.  Leading up to our confirmed appointment, she reached out to tell me she had gone over the trust and included a few questions, to which I replied with answers and a few follow-up questions of my own. I wanted clarification so I wouldn't go into the Zoom call unprepared, but she never replied in the days that followed.  By the day of the appointment, I wasn't even sure the meeting would still take place due to her lack of communication in answering my last email. Minutes before the scheduled time, I received a text from her saying she was running late and asking to push the call back. Given the complete lack of communication and preparation during the prior week, I decided to postpone the call.  The next day, Ella emailed me title information for the property along with fee quotes. I replied directly, acknowledging her initiative in pulling title but expressing clear disappointment regarding the lack of communication prior to our scheduled appointment. I offered to connect later that week to discuss expectations and next steps. Ella never replied. After two full days of silence, I officially cut ties and instructed her to disregard my matter.  Handling an estate requires basic reliability, punctuality, and responsiveness. Because none of those standards were met, my search continues.

Rarely do I post reviews though I purchase hundreds of items on Amazon and use services throughout…read morethe year, unless I am very impressed by the product or service I have received. And that is the case with Alex Varela and The Wagon Legacy. My wife and I needed to update our estate plans and interviewed several firms. Top of our list was The Wagon Legacy. It's so happen Alex Varela was hosting a live seminar so we attended one and was very pleased we did. She not only provided a thorough perspective on estate planning but also walked us through their process which seemed both logical and practical. From the onset of the initial call to the first in person meeting with Ricky Santos, left my wife and I were very impressed by their professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction and service. They walked us through what was involved, what to expect in weeks ahead and what our role was in the process. Their approach to every detail was down to a science which made the whole experience painless and comforting to know we were in good hands. The important Design Meeting with Attorney Michael Seaman was very productive and every minute was put to good use. Michael explained all the intricate details clearly and cohesively making us comfortable knowing we had made the right choice in selecting Alex and her team at Wagon Legacy. They helped us produce a solid estate plan that would last for many years and protect our assets for our beneficiaries down the road. As with others, I am sure we were not alone with the many questions we had along the way and each time we asked a question of Ricky, Michael, Karen, Elizabeth, and even Alex herself, we always received a prompt and thoughtful response, making us even more at ease and gave us the peace of mind we needed. We could not be happier with our choice in choosing The Wagon Legacy and their team of professionals. They are very caring and really interested in helping their clients achieve a sense of peace and comfort, protecting their hard earned assets for the legacy they leave behind. If you are in need of establishing a trust or estate plan, I highly recommend Alex and her team at The Wagon Legacy. You surely will not be disappointed and will leave having the confidence you have made the right choice. We certainly did. Kudos Alex! You have created a winning team that has and will continue to help many more like us for years to come God bless you, your family and your wonderful team at The Wagon Legacy!!!

Burris Law helped me with my Mom's probate and estate. They are informative, extremely helpful,…read moreprompt, and understanding. Going through the probate process took a long time(2 and a half years) partial due to the nature of the courts and partially due to some more uncommon issues that came up. Including an existence of a trust, but being unable to locate a copy including finding the attorney who originally set up the trust and asking if they had any copies. Unfortunately, the trust was set up before computer records were common. Another problem they helped me with was SunRun decided, for reasons we were never able to figure out, to try to shut of service even after I had began the process of transferring everything into my name and was only then waiting on the deed for the house that I wouldn't have until probate was over. Getting a letter saying SunRun was going to deactivate my service for being overdue on payments while in the same letter saying I owed no money and was 0 days past due was confusing and was confusingto every SunRunemployeei spoke to and none could give me answers. Burris Law helped me tremendously with this and without their help I don't know what would have happened in the end. I can't say enough nice things about them. They sent me 2 small care packages during the process and it was really nice to get something positive in the mail during a time when I was getting anxiety every time the mail came. Even after probate has been over for a year they answer any questions I have that come up. Retaining their services was expensive, as it would have been for any probate attorney, and it was worth every cent. When I'm in a better spot I'll be back to set up my own trust with their help.

Meeting Ariana, she is kind and very down to earth but very smart and professional. I felt completely at ease with her, I never felt rushed, she knew exactly how to help on the situation I came to her for and had it completed in an incredible amount of time. I was literally shocked she completed everything by our next appointment. I am going to use her services again to set up a trust. I would highly recommend using her and her office. Going to an attorney can be like going to the doctor, all you want is for someone to listen and address your needs and she did that and more. What a relief! Don't hesitate just book the appointment.

He had an independent attorney come separately to verify that there was no coercion or taking advantage of. I feel like he was in the hospital for six or eight hours. It was a really long time two different sessions it would not have taken so long if I would have given him all the information before he was researching deeds and titles so many different properties in front of me have they given him the info in advance, like I said, and requested that all that be done as much as possible before the hospital visit it would've been much quicker in person because of having a loved one in the hospital. I missed seeing his email that was requesting all that information prior to his arrival so do your work before his appointment if your time is valuable if not, then know you'll have many hours of company while this man works so hard to do a great job. I got injured at work several years ago and I went through 2 other law firms who never let me know what was going on. So I changed from a law firm in Los Angeles that had just never returned my calls & always had a negative attitude, from the assistants to the lawyers. Second, I tried to change to an Orange County law firm thinking I would get better service but the lack of competency & knowledge along with the negative attitude made them even worst to deal with. My only regret also is not meeting Mr. Geoffrey Cruz from the beginning of my case. If I worked with him from start to finish, I am sure the timeline would have been faster versus the years of waiting that I had. Just by pure persistence, sheer will, & lots of prayers, I knew another lawyer who I trusted if he could take my case and although he declined, I was fortunate to get referred to Geoffrey Cruz, who from the get go is an excellent listener, problem solver, professional, communicates well, & is always very present, knowledgeable, sharp, & on top of it all, competent & has excellent people skills! Mr. Cruz always went above & beyond with explaining each step of the legal process with me and did so with simplicity and dignity. I AM HIGHLY RECOMMENDING ALL MY FRIENDS, COLLEAGUES, & FAMILY TO HIM. From start to finish, he took care of me when I was battling hell with my former employer. I've been working around lawyers all my life and Mr. Geoffrey Cruz has integrity, humility, and will work hard for you. I cannot recommend him enough and he really helped me move towards a settlement so I can have my life back again.
